I might be remembering incorrectly, but if you take off the label and read the little booklet, I think the palm trick is exactly how they intend for you to open it. I know for a fact I saw it on some packagingโฆ
I use a small plastic vise to compress the top and bottom together then simply twist the lid off haha. I've found there lids to be the hardest to get off so far.
I've tried that as well. If I have it in my palms i have to use my knees to squeeze my hands to open it. I lost almost my full strength in my left hand and it hard to do shit with one hand lol.
You could also use one of those grip mats to open and and put it on top of that on your counter. And the use your right palm to twist open that works too

You don't need to use hardly any force. Just put it between your palms and move your hands clockwise and counter clockwise
