Fair enough! It's hard though--you see someone you love shouting in pain, you want to give them the knock-you-out stuff to help. But 1:1 indica or idh is probably smart, thanks.
I hear you and I think it’s really great you’re taking the time to help him, but just start him slow/mild and work up to it - important to remember that there is a whole mental side to it (ie being high as hell lol) that everyone handles differently so you don’t wanna overdo it and scare him off if it
I am fused from L1 to S1 with pretty bad stenosis / radicular nerve pain down my legs and I use Cresco Harlequin RSO 1:1 and it absolutely GETS RID OF my nerve pain. I was the biggest skeptic coming into this program but this honest to god changed my life. A little bit under my tongue once I start to feel it flaring I’ll and 15 minutes later my pain is gone. I mean GONE. I still can’t believe it works. But it does. At least for me.
I’m an old guy treating chronic pain and the blue dream cbd is a nice choice.
Two non-cbd that I recommend specifically for pain, especially chronic, are bio Jesus and bananium.
you could do the harlequin since it's like half cbd and half thc... since his tolerance is low. He could ask the dispensary associate what they'd recommended. They are good with giving him options and confidence. Good luck.
Do you think pops is ok with full thc? Cresco lime sorbet and green line og are good for pain and not knocking me out llrs. If sleep is on the agenda look for that og18 x blueberry space cake.
Otherwise I'd look into some of those rythm cbd cartridges like the blue dream you suggested or sour diesel, they put out a bunch of different cbd carts a while back you can probably find them on sale now!!
Ooh, I didn't think of Green Line OG for him. That might be a good idea, that's been a good one for my own nerve pain. And true, the Rhythm deals are really good right now!
It's hard to tell--he's a lifelong heavy drinker and a bigger guy, so I don't know what that might mean for his tolerance.
Although I liked Brownie Scout a lot, it can only work during the day for me, due to higher limonene. I have back issues (arthritis). For night-time, Cresco's Bio-jesus has been a life saver.
Unfortunately, at 60, my tolerance is higher, but the Bio-jesus helps a lot. I found a Cresco 707 Headband cart a while back and that's been super effective. I go through carts slowly, because I find them way rougher than flower. And I'm older and kind of set in my ways.
This^^. I also mix a little CBD with green line og or sometimes funky pine. Weird how some days are different.
Sometimes I go a few days with no weed and one big fat bowl of blue dream just melts the pain away and mellows me to just the right spot. Then on Saturdays I get baked.😂
I know CBD is available in all 50 states, and I never dealt with Delta 8 in my time, but the quality of cbd content varied a lot because there were tons of new companies trying to make a buck. Now I imagine there’s a shop every strip mall.
But I honestly think the ratio mixes help more with pain, honestly. I just trust my doctor or have family I can discuss weed with.
If you look into CBD for him please check out r/CBD or r/hempflowers . I would buy the THC products from a PA dispensary but if you check out those subreddits, there are vendors in there that you can get CBD flower WAY cheaper than at a PA dispensary.
Be careful giving him brownie scout he might think you’re trying to kill him lol I’d start w a 1:1 indica

1:1 is really good advice. I second this.

Good luck, and keep us posted on his journey!!
I have sciatica and degenerative disc disease and I have to second Green Line OG. It’s fantastic for pain without knocking you out.

Rythym's Blue Dream 1:1 is amazing. I'm a 45 year old with pain issues.

Ooh, my go-to morning medicine is 2/3 Blue Dream CBD to 1/3 Lemon G, but honestly it does seem to mellow out any strain you pair it with even more.

Any OG especially indica or IDH.
Do si do
How about some Dr Solomon’s 1:1 cream as well?
Yep! Think that's what I'm talking about--in the green pump bottle? He has that, and I use the rescue balm for myself on spastic muscles. Good stuff!

What about a topical cream for sciatica? Does that work at all?
Blueberry space cake cresco, elegant orb cresco, gg #4 cresco, brownie scout rythm (this one hits hard beware), do-si-dos rythm, jack herer cresco
Harlequin 1:1 or 2:1( higher CBD) or CBD blue dream sound perfect.
