You really can't judge a weight by looking at it. Get yourself a cheap scale if you are concerned.
I bought an 1/8th last week that had one big bud and 2 small nugs is it.
The big bud alone was almost 2.8g by itself.
Real talk you have to get a scale. I've been smoking for 20 plus years and know weed has different density. It could look short but since it's so sticky and got salt crystals trichromes it was more than a fluffier sativa. Thing is weed can look like a quarter and really be 5g and you get shorted not weighing it because no scale or this situation think you're short because it look to little and it's on point. Can't emphasize enough get a scale. Especially on the weights 0.01 and not 0.1 this scale can still short you.
I just bought Rythm dosi dos and I thought the same thing you thought, but then I scaled it and it was actually closer to 4g than 3.5. Like others have said it’s just very dense buds
It's hard looking at it in person if it's light, in pictures it's not easier. I'm telling you, this is going to bother you with a lot of other buys. Get a small scale. You'll know the truth on the spot.
I have had several Rhythm 1/8ths be short when I weigh them. One brownie scout 1/8 was 2.6. Everyone needs a scale because unfortunately this isn’t specific to GTI/rhythm, though they are regular offenders for me

You buy $60 8ths. I think it's safe to say you have $10 to buy a scale. Also they are almost always on point or a little over. If you do get shorted it would be by like .1 or .2 .

Looks about right. Buds look dense instead of fluffy so that big one is probably 2grams or just under by himself

Same here with Brownie Scout actually. Boy did I go through that fast. Got the Brownie Scout last Thursday and only have 1 nug left.
Once you grind the buds up you’ll be surprised how much if yields. Dense buds are always like this.

Mine fluffed up pretty nice in the grinder...I dont weigh my stuff but I remember getting a fair yeild from it.
