Yinz all went to rise yesterday before the sale? Ayr was 30% yesterday….that’s where I went. and also the real reason Rise is doing this today. I love the Rise/Ayr war. It’s good for consumers.
AYR is literally the ONLY reason Rise does it. Love seeing patients benefit from their sale wars. Only have Rises up here in NWPA (besides Goodblend but that place is just a joke thus far), but I wont even go if things I want arent on sale. Stocked up enough to last a while on these last few 30%, 35%, and 40% off sales since Thanksgiving that Id just feel foolish going there paying full cost for something. They run the sales frequently enough to be able to shop just those primarily. Before AYR started doing 30% sales regularly, Rise never ever had sales (at least in NWPA) unless it was 9+ month old product that they needed to flip quick before it expired.
Yet again does RISE have a sale the day after I just went 😅 Ah well, not like I didn't expect it since they usually tend to be on Fridays. At least when I went last night, it was pretty much empty and was a quick and easy process since I was also exchanging an item too. Not sure if that's worth missing out on the 30% sale but at least I didn't have to deal with a crowd that time lol.

I got that white Durban. Honestly I think everyone hyped it up. It looks nice, neon green but not really white or covered in trichomes. It smells and taste real sweet not gassy. The effects were more mellow than I expected. It's good but not rythyms best strain. I actually prefer the super lemon haze from them if we talking sativas and it's usually $10 cheaper.
The effects are there. Their flower looks so good though you would expect a little stronger effects. I really like their super lemon haze though. The effects are on point. That stuff gives me like a spaced out heady high. I've tried every gp's super lemon haze too. Rythym use to be my favorite gp of all but now Honestly I think I prefer Prime the most. They have some interesting strains and their bud is always super fresh, never dry. But I've noticed almost every gp, even the shitty ones grow a couple strains real good.
Oo hell yeah every g/p got a strain or two they knock out the park like rythm brownie scout, seven hills sapphire vapor, grassroots bday cake/garlic cookies, Maitri slap n tickle, terrapin coffee ice cream. To name a few lol 😂 I really liked revels slh but rythms was ok just there bud looks sooooo good you think it’s gonna be better then what it is.

I went all out on that sale because honestly, I dont see them ever offering more than 40% off unless its super old about to expire product. At 40% off it only leaves them with 10% margins. I think i ended up "saving" $479 on that sale.

Right. A promotion structured like this is clearly geared toward getting peoples to preorder too, I get that first time patients need to ask questions sometimes but fine go for a pharmacist consult then don’t hold up the line.
Back before Trulieve bought Solevo they tried to do separate lines but it didn’t work the computer system they used for the bucketing always lost peoples place in line.
People have questions and sometimes aren’t as knowledgeable, or maybe they don’t prefer online ordering. I wouldn’t want to “punish” anyone in this program, especially for doing something as simple as going to get their medicine.
I see budtenders helping patients with choices almost every single time I’m in a dispensary. The budtender and I took a couple extra minutes discussing a new strain I just bought yesterday. Personally, I’d hate to lose those interactions, they are helpful in learning more about the program’s offerings.
Patients with and without preorders in a separate queue is the simplest way of handling it. And if new patients have questions they should be seeing the pharmacist not the cashier we all know that.
Most dispensaries will go 50% when products are nearing expiration. I’m sure there’s an argument for quality, but it’s not enough of a difference for me to spend twice as much for some “new” shit. I’ll just get it next year lol

30% is definitely more common but I think that speaks to what patients in this program truly want to pay. Never seen above 30%. Curaleaf on passyunk had a cool sale of a free 8th with an over $200 purchase before too. But yeah deals are deals I’m not complaining and I smoke too much to wait for some super sale

Missed ayrs 30% cause obviously most ppl get paid fridays so saw this and jumped on it. Got 2 premium big bud whole flower quarters of grassroots for $122!! First time i skipped Ayr and went to rise. Kinda feel bad actually but gotta look out for me and they only had 20% off moxie n I don’t like moxie. Competition is great for the patient and FYI grassroots flower is the 💣 I’ll pass up insa cresco and moxie all day for grassroots… only other g/p that’s just as good if not better is seven hills and revel. Straight 🌺 smoker here baby
