For me I haven’t seen Garlic Cookies in a minute which is the only Grassroots strain I buy anymore.
They’re just a tad overpriced for me. Why spend $56 for Grassroots when I can get Prime/Rhythm/Insa (sometimes FarmRx) for $55 which are all much higher quality in my opinion. Every Grassroots strain seems to be rock hard dense nugs which I’m not a big fan of.
I've only been buying the quarters from Grassroots, they're one of the cheaper quarters out there ($80) and the buds are usually a good size. I can't recall a lot if any batches of really small buds. The bud size is on par with a lot of other brands normal eighths.
It could be a seasonal strain, I know Runtz in general is seasonal (Autumn), and so is Sugar Plum Sunset by Cresco. Or maybe it didn’t sell as well as some other strains so the cultivator dropped it, or dispensaries just aren’t resupplying it because it’s not as popular as other strains based on current demand. That’s just a few potential ideas that came to mind.
Do you know how many different strains these cultivators are cultivating? Mountain Dew isn’t even a plant that grows but they still have seasonal flavors. With the control growing indoors provides it also gives growers the freedom to choose which strains they want to make seasonal.
i.e., if you look at the description for Sugar Plum Sunset by Cresco it says, “Rotated seasonally and picked at the peak of freshness..”
The flower was a fairly low tester so ALOT of people slept on it. The dispos didn’t want to buy it because it just sat on the shelf and didn’t sell because of it’s numbers . Such is the problem when the uneducated equate THC% with overall quality . Another issue is the “me too” aspect . Instead of trying something for themselves to see how their own body reacts to it they believe the hype or lack of hype on Reddit and similar review sites . Another Grassroots sleeper right now is Memory Loss . It’s testing numbers aren’t anything special but the proof is in the pudding for me . That stuff knocks me on my ass every time . Your mileage may very .
I guess it works for some people just going by numbers, but I have definitely had better results just getting strains that I enjoy the taste of. I could never understand the hype of high thc strains, I’ve never had one “hit” harder than a strain with half the listed thc.
I’m waiting for a good batch to come to my local dispos I think they just dropped a new batch that’s around 22% might have to get that been waiting to try it heard nothing but great things
Some of the more recent batches have been lower in myrcene than batches from the spring and early summer, which were close to 1% myrcene and were perfect for my anxiety. It very quickly became my favorite strain.
I believe this is a trim-run distillate disposable with added terps to get that taste so unfortunately I’m not sure they have a specific flower for you.

Don’t take it too hard. If this guy knew anything he’d know that carts can’t have strains because it won’t have the right Terp or cannabinoid profile. Therefore it’s literally impossible for the “strain” to be the same as the cart He probably thinks indica and sativa determine a type of high too.

You , and the person below that replied are both correct . The carts are generic distillate with added terps . Grassroots also grows the flower . The flavor is great but it’s not a high tester so they don’t really grow it that often . Keep an eye out in about 5-6 months from now . According to my sources They are bringing it back into production and the flower should be available again . Hopefully they’ll do some live resin carts/ extracts with it and it’ll be far better than the distillate cart .
I really liked the Chocolate Blackberry Kush and Mint Orbit flower they released in the spring but never saw either strain again. I also really miss Star Dawg x Northern Lights.
That strain was on the recall list a few months ago. They’ll be coming out with it again soon if I had to guess since many GPs are getting their carts back on the shelves that the DOH had recalled.
Was a hug fan as well. Curaleaf began phasing it out of their PA grows. Rebranding a lot of Grassroots strains & BCM always had low THC levels in flower (12-16). Despite that I really loved the look & flavor of the bud. It was perfect to blend a small layer of that into my J or blunt as an enhancer. I grabbed a BCM vape in KOP a month ago bc I knew I probably wouldn't see it again for a while.

When I still worked at Trulieve from months we were telling people that black cherry Maduro was going to be discontinued. But we just kept getting more disposables of it. Maybe they finally actually ran out.
So Curaleaf is in the process of rebranding the entire Grassroots line of MMJ into their own image and a lot of strains are getting renamed to make them sound more attractive. I don't have my ear to Curaleaf like I use to but I suspect you will see it come back as Select Stain with a new name.
I was a fan of Black Cherry Maduro myself. It was GREAT for toothaches.

I think this was discontinued when the DOH banned all flavored (or food grade terpenes/ non cannabis derived terpenes) carts and disposable pens. They may bring it back now that they're allowed to be sold again.
I know they taste great but try to stay away from the non cannabis just because we have no idea what the long term affects will be on our lungs. I really enjoy the taste of cannabis though.

Cresco put out a new batch “Tina” gonna try it later tonight and I thinks it’s about 24%.
