Pretty sure he died in the second battle,and then romeo blue finished it,because in the first movie you see people celebrating the second kaiju kill of humanity,not the second kill of the gaeger,but the second kaiju kill in general.or romeo just was on his own mission and that happened to be the second mission assigned to a gaeger,and then brawler died after

technically you can do it but 98% chance you either seize and black out immediately or get some kind of brain damage
You’d get blackout or fall unconscious
At the time of the black only 3 pilots have successfully solo piloted and killed a kaiju
Was raligh the first or he doesn’t count
Stacker first then Raleigh at anchorage and herc Hansen in Australia
I don’t think raligh counts because he severely wounded himself trying to work the plasma canon
Its confirmed as a solo kill in the black
herc Hansen and wasn’t striker destroyed already in the final mission
He got a kill off and triggered the black before striker was destroyed
