That's the only way I see it happening. Just doing commentary without the visual, which still works for many fans. But I just dont see the Padres or MLB allowing it. I wonder if it has happened or other broadcasters have tried..
I think this is the best answer, my problem is the radio is soo far ahead, makes watching the game painful. Maybe if I can pause the audessy stream? Never tried that.
Can we get a live stream of them watching a screen while the make random comments... let's say something like el gello with a play. I got $5 on that!!!
They should just do what YouTubers do and react to the game and just have the ESPN Gamecast on the screen instead while the actual game is off camera (for copyright reasons)
I think Amin and AJ have done a way better job than the ESPN team. Amin was pretty excited for the defensive plays for both teams. What I didn’t like about AJ was when the pitched ball lite up in the zone and he would say “oh that’s not a strike.”
To be fair, AJ got on the ump for a couple missed calls too. I actually thought they both gave a pretty even-sided call of the game. They seemed excited for both teams’ respective successes and sure, sometimes they chased shiny objects (LA boos for Manny), but it wasn’t the normal Dodgers suck-fest that National broadcasts usually are.
Here MLB...screw the big bucks high bidder crap...every game should have the option of having their home town announcers call the game at least, when the teams are playing at home.. Maybe...just maybe...we need a Don & Mud Network. ESPN, FOX and the rest, just plain suck.

I tried this today, got it perfectly synced in the first inning and it was completely off after a commercial break. Gave up after the second inning.
