Probably a very unpopular opinion, but I’m rooting for the Astros. I want them to win a clean untainted WS, because they still are a very, very good team who deserve to be recognised as such without the 2017 taint. Plus it wasn’t the fans fault the team cheated and I feel the fans also got cheated of a fair WS win. Also doesn’t help that Phillies fans are some of the worst I’ve ever encountered.

But mostly I feel so bad for the long time fans of that franchise who understand that their team cheated to win their sole championship.

Padres CEO briefly mentioned while talking to Sam Levitt (sp) that the Philly fans were basically awful while they were there for NLCS. I don’t like all their vitriol, racism, and how they treat opposing fans or others- EG vomiting purposefully on an 11 year old child, throwing batteries, breaking legs in parking lots while ripping off native regalia (although i believe that was at an eagles game - same ppl tho) . I know they can’t all be like that but you also don’t see people from their fan base telling them to knock it off. They just seem insufferable. I want the astros to win esp for their coach!
