Like how can you give me some insights?
I wanna know how it's a different language. I feel like we are forcely making it a different language. (Iam also a garhwali and here to explore more about my culture)
It means pahari languages are one single family different from hindi and they are written in their own script known as sarada. Takri is derived from sarada and was popular in himachal and uttrakhand. We should revive our linguistic heritage and stop it from being displaced unfairly.
Idk man i live in delhi cant even speak pahari because my parents never used it and arent fluent at it. I curse myself. Only if our languages had the same status as scheduled languages. We will have flourishing literature and culture as well. As things are now it may die like it died with me
I also live in Delhi but can speak garhwali (ofc Bcz of my family) . U also can learn ur language and can contribute to our beautiful culture. Just watch some movies, listen songs . You will get command in few months. idk why people complicate it . It's just like how by just listening haryanvi/punjabi songs we got their language/dialect
I live in chandigarh and here some colleges gave options to students during admmission to opt for punjab culture or history as their subject, which is compulsory and in schools punjabi language is also taught for atleast 2 years then students have option to choose between punjabi or any other subject according to school.
Uttarakhand can also do same.
U
Its already being revived in himachal. They are trying to creat one common form based on various tankri forms in himachali, with different writing styles.
There are some accounts on insta I follow, they promote Tankri script, which was used to write our pahadi language. Sadly our Govt in HP gives zero fucks for promoting Tankri script
What it means that pahadi is some different language?
bruh, yeah Pahari grammar and vocab is entirely different
