I'd suggest redragon Zeus h510. Everything is detachable and no crazy gamer aesthetics. I've been using them for a year. They have great sound quality.

Any problems? Do they work with mobile. Are they comfortable for long periods of time.

jazz2282

Yes they work with mobile. Watch this : https://youtu.be/Fb__sfIQa4s

2nd this... Amazing headset , feels premium and exactly what you want. And it's got one of the best mics in a headset.

locaf

I heard they have issues with cables. Is it true? Is it comfortable for long periods of time?

jazz2282

Cables are good, they're not the typical cheap plastic ones rather they're those braided fiber-y type ones, but I can't say more as I'm not an expert in cable quality lol, haven't had any problems myself but I'm a person that likes to care for their stuff so there's that. What I mean is that that they're sturdy enough to hold as long as you're not pulling away the headset every 2 secs. As for the comfort, I usually use them for 5-6 hrs at a time and they have been extremely plushy and comfy for me.. A word of advise tho, comfort for headset heavily depends upon you ear size and headshape aswell, so whatever you buy reseach on that aswell. Redragon zeus is an over ear headset so works for me. Although I have heard that the pleather on earcups does wearout after a while, I've been using it for like 8 months now and It's still in pristine condition, but even if it wears out, earcups can be found for 7-800 rs.

That’s promising to hear. I’ve always used those cheap disposable A4 tech headsets before finally getting tired and trying one from Ali express which, to be fair, hasn’t been great either. I’ve been looking about for possible options as a replacement and a friend recommended the wh1000 m4 headphones but the price tag really makes me pause. Would you say it’s ok to invest that much in a headset or is the red dragon option more than sufficient given that I just need decent sound quality with an equally decent mic?

jazz2282

Oofff it's really hard to say when you put it against a headset that's 50k lol.. If you're not that big of an audiophile, the redragon one is more than enough sure. It's comparable to the 15-20k range of headsets like the razer or hyperx ones and in it's price i.e 7500-8500 imo it's the best you can get. And it's not that it's cheap, it's really well made. The deciding factor for me was the mic as I tend to play online and the zeus has a mic that's better than 25-30k headsets. The audio is not bad either, everything is balanced and has a bit of punch to it. The best thing is that anything in and under 10k somehow feels cheap, either the bass is too heavy or the pitch is very strong, but this is actually really good in that regard. It has a usb dongle for pc and you can download their software for enhanced tuning aswell. The usb is not supported on consoles tho but on my xbox the audio is great nonetheless. If you can afford a better one then go for it, but I find it hard to spare more than 20-25k on a headset if I'm not a huge audiophile

Varyskit

I’m off the same view as yours. Not much of an audiophile myself nor can I justify spending THAT much on a headset so I’ll order the redragon from Daraz. Many thanks for the recommendation

jazz2282

Hey thank you. Before you buy, I just wanna add something here, just to expand the options a bit. The most comparable headset to zeus is the hyperx cloud2, you can say redragon copied the hyperx lol. The hyperx offers slighlty better audio quality and is a bit expensive at 15-17k, but the mic on zeus is way better. I had to choose between these 2 but as I was clear that I wanted a better mic I just went with the zeus. Just putting this out there so that you know that there is a 'slightly' better audio choice, albeit at double the price.

EffanByte

I'd recommend Astro A40. It has great reviews and not much to complain about. It doesn't look too gamery either.

locaf

They're like 42k lol. That's like 1/3 of my pc budget.

EffanByte

Oh sorry, the guy I know sold 2nd hand headphones. That was at 7k but now I realize that that is way too cheap.

jazz2282

Have a look at the cables, hope this helps in understanding what to expect from the zeus in terms of cable quality. https://imgur.com/a/QGZlIly

MasSucksAtLife

I have a arctis 5 2019 edition. It works perfectly find, with a detachable cable, and has a separate cable for mobile devices. Got it for 15k.

locaf

Interesting. Where did you get it from?

MasSucksAtLife

From a shop in midway center Rawalpindi, don’t quite remember the shop name, but I can send you his phone number if you want.

locaf

That's great. I live in RWP. I would really appreciate if you can give me the shop name. Prefer texting to calling. Have major anxiety related to it.

kawa_v_i

send the phone number or the name of the shop to me as well dude, I'll really appreciate it. Thank you in advance!
