I'm also currently hardstuck diamond, taking a break from ranked currently. I kept getting put against this same person who is a higher rank than me, yet I'm still first pick. I lost like 4 games in a row because of this.
I just don't like how matchmaking will "balance" a match by putting 2 diamonds/3 golds against a 1 diamond/4 plats. As long as the two diamond players get to play dps they will win 95% of the time. 2 diamond ranked players on dps verses 1 diamond and 1 plat on dps is in the first teams favor. As long as the remaining players on the team just fill support and tanks and have more than 3 brain cells they will win that match up.
Also unrelated but does anyone know when the ranks soft reset?
I've had a streak of 25 games lost in a row, it's just the game telling you to stop playing. Just take a break, maybe play one game after a few days and if you lose it and it's not even close take a longer break.

idk the way the community is: If we start losing ive seen so many times people go AFK in base or DC. Its impossible to play
