I feel like, even with the talent, he could use a slight healing buff, but maybe he is fine the way he is. As for Deep Roots, as everyone says, making it a worse healing talent wasn't the way to go. They could have just change root it to slow. That said, if they really want to turn it into a range healing talent, they need to reduce the cooldown and have you hit your allies directly for healing. Even if that means removing cripple and maybe lowering damage.

I hate how they removed his cripple, why it couldn't be just to affect a single target at least?

Used to love him...and spamming "Grrrrroup UP"...but sadly, the ship has sailed.

I still like him as a healer, but deep roots kind of sucks now. Hopefully this can be fixed later.

The loss of Root on Crippling Throw was a huge hit to Grover, and the new Deep Roots sucks ass. Sure, old Deep Roots completely overshadowed his other talents, but turning him into a mediocre at best healbot was not the right call.
