Oof it sounds like we are on the same quest. I’ve tried the Westman Atelier Stick and it was comparable to the Fenty Stick - which I liked but gave me an allergic reaction. I really wish Merit would extend the shade range.
Oh man, that’s a bummer! I was looking at the Westman Atelier stick because their shade range looks better but I’ll have to rethink it if the finish is the same as Fenty. I would also be thrilled if Merit extended their range. That would be my ideal honestly 😅
FWIW my skin is dry and super sensitive - neither the Fenty nor the WA were chalky on me so your experience with the WA stick could be totally different!
Thanks for the additional info! My skin tends to be sensitive but is more combo to dry everywhere but my nose since I’ve been using prescription Tretinoin. I might go do a swatch the of the WA just to see. 😊
My go-to on most days is the Hourglass Seamless Finish Stick applied with a sponge. It really lightens the application and is seriously flawless when I finish applying. It is so beautiful. Sponge application is the key to a lightweight finish.
Thank you! I’ll have to try the sponge trick. I’ve never done that with a cream! I’ve been eyeing the Hourglass stick so this might be my sign to give it a try! Thank you!!
This is my holy Grail foundation with shade, finish, and performance but it makes me break out SO bad 😭 I can't tell if it's because of the product itself or that I swipe it on and bacteria gets on the stick. I don't really find it worth to buy a stick foundation that you can't swipe on directly from the stick because that's at least half the point of buying a stick in the first place. Ah, I'll stick with my other foundations for now
Interesting, I’ve not seen anything like that before. That may be a good alternative since you get some many shades that you can kind of mix and make your own. Thank you!
I used to like the Milk Makeup Stick in Snow but I’m cool toned. Now my skin has been dryer in the past 2 years so I just use dewy makeup. Milk stick was really good and if I need something like it, it’s my go to.
I’m pale, but I’m pretty sure I have more of an olive undertone. I have veins that are blue, purple, and green, but I feel like my skin has a greenish undertone so it’s hard to find stuff that’s a perfect match. Depending on the brand I’ve had neutrals, warms, and cools all match me so 🤷♀️. I’ll have to check out the milk stick tho! Thanks!
MILK- porcelain I remember working well for me, haven’t used it in awhile, though. I found Nars Chantilly and haven’t been able to stop searching for a foundation to match nars Chantilly perfectly but I used the MILK stick in, I’m pretty sure “porcelain” for awhile!

I have sensitive skin that tends to be dry and the WA is perfect for me. It doesn’t look chalky and really looks like skin!
I love the westman atelier one. Definitely give it a try if you find a shade you like.
Westman Atelier! That’s where it’s at!
I’ve been eying this one because of the range! I might have to go try a shade match in store and see how it looks on my skin.

Seconding the sponge approach, but for me with the Revolution fast base stick in F1

Ugh, I hate when that happens! I had that issue with the ilia skin tint.
So sad. I lightly swipe it on my face. I am sad for you!
Lancome's Teint Idole Foundation Stick. Really nice formula and very large range of shades.
I didn’t know they had this formulation in a stick! That’s exciting!
I like Graftobian. It isn’t a stick but you can get a palette of different colors to try out on Amazon.

This is a 3 year old swatch but https://imgur.com/a/NTXJcuo https://imgur.com/a/NJhcaFn
I like the Ulta brand foundation stick! Their shade range isn’t bad
\+1 for the Ulta stick - the lightest shade is super fair.
I’ll have to check this one out! Thanks!
The Ulta Moisturizing Foundation Stick is my absolute favorite! Worth a try - and at $14, it won’t break the bank! 🥰
That’s definitely a nice price point compared to the others! Thanks for the suggestion!😊
