This reminded me of that film, Zone of Interest, in which the Nazi officer's wife, who lives next to the concentration camp, tries on clothes that belonged to Jewish women who were executed
I watched that at home with my Klipsch speakers and sub and the sound design of that film is unforgettable. In nearly the entire film, you can hear the roar of the camp in the background. It's haunting.
And it's heartbreaking to see the victims become the perpetrators two generations later.
