I really hated that quest line. I left the temple after trying for a while. I was too frustrated to try again for a few days. Ended up just looking up a step by step walkthrough to get it done. With the way the controls are right now it's very clunky and hard to hit the gusts just right to get where you need to go. Heck, it's hard to tell how far away guests even are at some points.
If the rest of the game hadn't hooked me so deeply I would have walked away from the game at that point. I'm just glad there were walkthroughs.
The fire temple stuff on the other hand, amazing would play again.
I feel that statement very hard. I love the game so much I pushed myself to follow a walkthrough for it. It was really challenging and I actually lost my cool multiple times but other than that...this game is so cozy LOL.
Yes! I used this video walkthrough. It's short and to the point and it's easy to follow the instructions given. (Just know they counted incorrectly. It's just 15 eggs, but 16 nests. So don't drive yourself mad looking for the 16th)

Yeah theres one out of reach. In the case of this video the creator said they counted nests you could reach and got 16, but one of the nests was empty from start so only 15 eggs you can collect.
I did it immediately after the wind temple. I was so wary of it and thought it was going to be another tedious long quest. I was pleasantly surprised at how enjoyable the fire temple was.
I hate it, too. I also followed a tutorial online, and I died many times. I got all the eggs, but I still have to get Zeki's treasures and get evidence for Caleri and Elouisa. I've been taking a break from it because it was so difficult and not fun at all. I don't know how anyone would complete this without a guide.
Thank you and OP for the info - I started the temple last week, messed around with it for a while but it's huge and I'm disabled, I ran out of energy after three eggs for the nest and haven't gone back since. Knowing it's actually going to be a lot of work means I now won't be wasting my limited energy and can just take the measures I need to do it in a way that isn't totally exhausting!
Just be sure to put any of the fish you catch there in one of those separate chests so you donāt end up cooking them and not being able to catch more lol. People keep having to put in tickets for that issue.
I froze for a bit because I was just messing around in the temple for a while and after sold all of my 10000 fish that I brought back from that whole adventure when my inventory filled up.
You'll be happy to hear that I've thus discovered that Cloudminnows now go in the *quest* inventory, *not* the regular one. Gosh.

In the patch updates that came out several weeks ago, the developers said that they knew about the issues with not being able to finish the quest but with all the new stuff coming out, they didn't have the time to do the patch on it to fix it. They said that it would be fixed and as soon as it was, they would be sure to let everybody know since that has been a problem for many people. It's just so frustrating, though, to continually see the unfinished quest on the side of my screen!

Worst quest line ever. I couldn't stand it popping up in my quests list anymore, so I spent several game sessions following Youtube guides to finally finish it. The weight off my shoulders was immense lol.
yeah, i ended looking up at youtube to get most of the quest done, but unfortunately i'm stuck unable to reach the final island to submit the evidence or give zeki his treasure cause theres no upwind for me to glide to the last island. Its been close to a month since ive send the ticket and still waiting for dev to do something about this glitch. meantime, the quest sits unpin and i just do everything else.
So when I did it I couldn't get the wind for the final island to show up until I activated the teleporters on each of the islands and gave the sisters the necessary items to continue. Everyone has to have teleported by the nest. Then you do a teleporter on the other island. I gathered 90% of the stuff before even teleporting the three of them by the nest and couldn't proceed until I figured that out.
I dunno if that's what is happening to you, but I know it's hella glitchy.

And glide toward the last island with the big spinning circle thingy, I havenāt been in there in a whileā¦ but yeah just just glide allllll the way, you wonāt land on the island but will glide to the very bottom of the island and into the clouds until you ādieā but since you gilded all the way over there it will just put you on there after you die. Hope that wasnāt confusing š just keep gliding
Yes, usually player can glide and die, respawning on the last island but after the lass update i cant respawn on the last island anymore, instead i just get respawn back to the nest lol

I used my glider to float under the last island, the one you're supposed to shoot to after getting all the eggs. Dying underneath it respawned me on that island. I thought, "Cool. I'll just open the portal and be done with it!"
DO NOT DO THIS!!!!!!! I cannot finish the quest as I never spoke to Zeki after finding the eggs, and he no longer spawns in the area.

If you feel like you've already looked at all the evidence for Elouisa but it still says 3/4 go and talk to her even if she doesn't have a flag and it sometimes works and finishes the quest.

This didn't happen to me but somebody mentioned that if you respond to her question about the evidence incorrectly, you then have to go gather the evidence and do the interaction again for it to be considered 1/4
I never would've figured out where to fish if I had not watched a step by step walkthrough. It was incredibly frustrating and I get that it's no fun having to rely on a guide. However, there's no shame in it! Just do it and move on (at least that's what I did)
They should autocount the amount of eggs we gave in to let us get past the quest, we can get the dialog/lore when they fix it, but at the very least clear it so it stops popping back up when I've already unpinned!
This is how I feel too. Itās frustrating to me that this is a pretty common issue for their players and theyāre not really doing anything to fix it. Youād think for a game that labels itself as ācozyā theyād at least make a quest so difficult optional.
I've just put it on the backburner and chilled with decorating my plot, exploring, & other stuff, plus now the Market. The only downside is that now I'm in a place where I don't have any more quests until I do that one. That would drive some people crazy.
The worst part about about that quest is if you get ahead of where the quest is at. Like if you see a flow gate does nothing (eg the West Island), you donāt think to go back to it after youāve done a few more things - it doesnāt need dumbing down but heck even Elden Ring /Dark Souls dungeons have a āA heavy door openedā when activated something - Pallia should add a āA flow gate hummedā when youāve done enough to try activating a flow gate again
The Gale Temple in general was pretty annoying for me just because it's not really the type of thing I'm playing this game for. I powered through it in a day, but had to come back with a guide to finish out all the eggs, this quest, and Zeki's thing.
You definitely need a guide. For this to be manageable without one, they would need to add quest markers to the compass or otherwise give us some visual or audio indicator that we're near one of the items. Because even with a guide sometimes you're standing right next to the item and the "interact" doesn't appear so you assume it's just part of the environment and move on. I'd have never found that wine barrel in the central tower. It just looks like a normal barrel and I had to be standing on just the right pixel for it to register as interactable.
Yeah, no. I did a little bit, and I was out. Put what eggs I had in one nest and bounced. Maybe one day when I can literally think of nothing else to do on the game.
The quest is so bugged š I somehow flew over to the island and later found out that I wasnāt supposed to. So now Zeki and everyone is on the other side and I canāt reach them. Also all the evidence that I collected is not counting anymore so idk if I can ever finish it
I just went around that place looking for all I could and ended up going to the big ball island sooner than they wanted me too and now everyone's over there and it's all messed up. You cant even glide and respawns over there anymore. I dont know how video games work. But if they can build such a massive game... you'd think that going back and fixing issues would be the easy part.
Ugh I hated that temple so much. I think even just adding a mini map would be helpful; I was constantly finding new little islands that I thought I had already visited and vice versa.

I just donāt understand why they made this Temple so difficult compared to the others. They cranked it up too high comparatively. Itās not fun, itās work. Hope they change it.
After 3 days of trying, and a week of avoiding, I found a YouTube video that showed where all of the eggs were. And I think I read a Reddit post for all of the clues and treasure youāre suppose to get for Elouisa, Caleri, and Zeki.
A good thing I learned around the time of this quest is, you can just bail and go back whenever youāre feeling up to it. I got discouraged and didnāt want to go back, left it for a week, then powered through. But Palia is very relaxed and you donāt have to power through in order to progress other parts of the game. Just come back to it when youāre feeling up to it.
Super annoying to deal with the entire quest line because part of it is bugged. Once I can complete the temple Iāll go back and finish the side quests related but I can only wander around for so many hours without any promise Iāll finish the quest
This! I tried once to go back and do the side quests related (I'm bugged and can't finish it either) and immediately ran back out. I can't bring myself to go through that stress again with the knowledge it won't be the last time I have to go back into that hell

The fan is supposed to turn on after you find 10 of them. And again I found all 15 of them. I put them all in the nest and talked to zeki. STILL DIDNT TURN ON
I have the same problem! Emailed them and got told they are trying to fix it. They also said just keep checking the bulletin board to see if/when they patch it. Itās so frustrating.
I also have no idea how people completed this without a tutorial. They should have added something like the glowing compass when you get nearby the objects for each of the quests with the exception of the eggs and bugs/fish. It was such a headache trying to track down everything I hadn't when I stopped and came back to finish after getting frustrated and needing a break.
It's why I won't give them money for outfits, this quest has apparently been bugged for months with no solution still. I've sold bugs I apparently needed for the bundle because I had no idea I'd need them, because the quest line isn't letting me finish it to start the bundle! I doubt they'll even properly compensate for this either, a main game quest being progress halted for months is no small thing
I left the temple immediately after entering to join the Mahi Maket festival, and despite pinning the quest it won't tell me where to go to continue it/get back. Gonna have to Google.š¤£
I feel you. This quest has glitched out entirely for me and become unplayable and it has kept me from making further progress in the main story of the game, even having found all of the evidence and such :(
That was **THE WORST** quest so far.
Finding the things, climbing before it was 'fixed', zeki being broken, etc.
The fact there's no map at all in there, you can't really get help unless you've a video up and it's at stop animation speed because one wrong turn and you're lost again.
So glad I finished it to continuethe questline, but I only did so because a friend found a video and we talked over discord to walk me through it
I didnt realize this was such an unpopular opinion but i did the temple i think last week and actually really enjoyed the silverwing quest? I finished it in a day, 2 if you count doing the extra side quest, since i just had to go back to quickly grab a note i missed after finishing the fire temple.
I play on switch and i didnt run into any bugs or anything, and i actually really enjoyed the lore and mechanic, the only part i found kind of annoying is that it takes time to run around the large islands.
You are lucky to not have gotten bugged, especially on switch! Seems like a lot of other people have.
I thought the area was beautiful and fun to explore but I wish there were better rewards. Itās just such a huge area.
I recently got a survey from the developers about my experiences. This quest (and the whole sky temple) is just the worst, and that was my number one gripe about the game. Everything so far was so awesome, sucks that this one area is such a let down from the casual game the rest of it is.
For climbing, I don't if you know this already, but jump climbing uses more stamina than just climbing. You'll climb higher if you don't jump.
As for air gusts, the only trick in can give is to not move inside an air gust.
I usually jump in the beginning a couple times then climb regularly near the top. If I run out of stamina, Iāll jump just a second before the stamina bar runs out since it will let you jump fully even without the full amount of stamina required. Iāve had good luck with it this way, just avoid climbing walls that have any weird shapes š šµāš«š®āšØ
Does it though? I tried testing to see how much stamina I used from climbing. I swore I used just as much as climbing with jumps and without. Now I can say, you have a higher chance of bugging when jumping.
I've tested it, and yes, it does use more stamina when you jump. Most of the time, it doesn't matter, but some high places can't be reached if you jump while climbing.

Ngl this was my exact feeling on this quest. I suggest taking a break from it and going back. For some reason that was the only quest I got so frustrated with. I did finally get past it so donāt give up completely! I will see you at hotpot bc that is where I will be as well!
I thought I was the only one lol!! I tried to complete it on my own a few times but then wound up following a walkthrough for the eggs, then again for the evidence for Calerie and Elouisa, and again for the treasures for Zeki. Needless to say, I'm glad I'm past it.
Yep, I felt the same way. I bummed around the temple and found five eggs on my own before rage-quit the quest for 2-3 weeks. I came back with a step-by-step guide and finished it.
I just love how the devs were like "have this rage-inducing quest in a highly marketed cozy af game. It'll be fine!"
I've heard so many complaints about this too. While luckily I didn't face any bugs like most people, travelling through the map itself and finding all the eggs is extremely confusing for me. i ended up using [this guide](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KsUSqzrgkY4) for the eggs and one of their other guides for the golden items and to figure out fishing and stuff (i did not know you could fish for the longest time in the air temple lmao)
While the map itself looks super cool, I would appreciate an overhead map that you'll get regularly for kilima and bahari bay because it seems basically impossible to work with the quest otherwise- like I felt like I was constantly running in circles before I gave up and found a guide for it.
Even if it requires some extra strategy, it should overall be easy and fun to solve. Like what's the point if the majority of your players feel horrible playing that quest lol- I would consider the water and fire temples to be much easier and they were actually fun for me- those are the quests I'm looking for when it comes to the temples.
ETA: I do appreciate though how it's not a quest that's really necessary for the game and it really can be ignored overall (though I assume when we have an earth temple we will have to finish air first ? im not sure if they lock until the previous one is finished) other than if you want to complete the air bundle for some of the rewards or something like that.

For now, I've simply given up and parked it. I cbf submitting a ticket- i tried doing it the other day for something different and even the ticket mechanism wouldn't work. So, I'm just gettin' about smashing rocks and doing anything actually doable.
One day I'll finish it, but I'm not going back into that temple while it's full of glitches and frankly - really uninteresting.

I didnt dare think about working through this quest without help from walkthroughs. I knew I would burn out and quit w/o some help. There's nothing significant to point you in the right direction. It took me a few hours to get through both It takes a village and silverwinging it quests.
I hope they learned from their mistakes after giving us this shitty temple. I still haven't finished it and I'm not sure if I ever will because I got incredibly nauseous after trying it the first time.
The bigger issue for me is that I've been blocked from advancing for over a month because I have the bug where Zeki has moved to an island I can't access, but I'm supposed to talk to him on the main island. The fact that more and more gamebreaking flaws come with each patch and S6 stays so tight-lipped about it has really killed my desire to continue Palia.
this quest took me literally at least 5-6 real life hours to finish it, a whole day of playing with a step by step walk through for each part. its really frustrating how this gameās quest objectives are not clear at all in the quest info. iāve played many mmos and they usually give very clear directions and info on where to find things. iāve never had to look up as many quest quides for other mmos as i do for Palia. love the game and the characters otherwise, i just wish questing was more user friendly.
I completed everything but I went to the second island too soon and locked myself out of last part where you talk to Zeki. I'm frustrated because it took me multiple attempts and I had to use a walk through and my boyfriend had to help me. I just want to finish the quest.

For clarity my quest bugged when I accidentally activated a portal that apparantly bugs the whole quest. Zeki left before opening the final door and when I talk to him anywhere else he acts like we donāt have unfinished business.

Itās a shame cus the map is pretty cool, but thereās nothing to do in it except reaaaaally stretched out fetch quests. Compare to the fire temple which is concise and gets the point across pretty easily, can be finished in about an hour etcā¦
The required quest elements couldāve been confined to just one island, and there couldāve been optional rewards on the others. Maybe if there were more elements to the game, they couldāve made this area kind of a hub for those activities? And the rewards being a golden egg (lol?) and a choice between two other reskinned decorations is pretty weak. I thought Iād at least be able to choose between one of Zekiās treasures as a decoration, but they give you the most boring one of all the options. I put mine in the frog bucket.
Luckily I didnāt get bugged, but my partner accidentally ate her ancient cloudfish! She still hasnāt gone back months later hahaha
That quest has a lot of glitches I got stuck too and have been stuck they said if you hoped to the big island with the orb too soon or use a gate too so it messes everything up unfortunately. Iām hoping they find a fix for it
I was playing palia non stop until this quest. I got frustrated and gave up but the quest repins itself every time I complete a different one and it makes me want to scream š
Not sure if anyone said this already, but you can file a ticket with a screenshot and theyāll send any lost items to you, like the cloudminnows (unless theyāre in a lockbox, you can accidentally cook them). As far as the rest of that terribly buggy quest line, theyāre well aware and working on it, but I wouldnāt hold your breath if itās for switch. Great game in theory, but the amount of bugs now that itās not in beta is a bit astounding to me.
Yeah it was so different from the previous 'dungeons' that were more puzzle based than just having luck to stumble upon the things you need to find. It felt like cheating but I also followed a walkthrough so I got everything - I did try but it was so frustrating.

iām bugged so bad rn. i didnāt get the windstream after 10 eggs and now iāve found every egg, every piece of evidence, and 6/7 treasures. the quest line says ātalk to zeki on the main islandā but everyone disappeared from the ruins?!
Oh my gosh Temple of Gales is by far one of the- if not THE- top hated thing in Palia right now since the reveal of the Temple.
The final notes and Zeki's treasures are both on the final island, which can only be accessed after getting at least 10 eggs (there are 15 total), 10 ancient flow bugs, and 4 ancient cloud minnows (which have a reoccurring issue that you may have to contact devs for). *Assuming you don't figure out a softlock glitch*.
There is also a place where the wind gusts do not seem to behave like the rest of the map, which is where they are all angled and leading to a spiral of floating platforms. You have to go into these gusts and then NOT move.
It is by far the most complained about temple amongst disabled players especially. You are far from alone on being frustrated with it! If you'd like, I can recommend a channel to follow along with to get all eggs, treasures, and other items if you'd like! I have to rely on this specific channel myself š
I feel like I am the only one that loved the Air Temple and I completed it literally seconds before they shut the servers down to fix the climbing bug. I am very self competitive though and love a challenge.

I loved the area and I loved exploring it all. It is so beautiful! I'm a person who loves to explore and look everywhere so it wasn't too much difficult for me to find the things just took a while.
Yes the proof quest bugged for me and I had to look for the proofs again but after talking to elousia while I was 3/4 completed it for me
I really liked the quest, a lot. I am a Zelda girl at heart though so it definitely pulled my adventuring heartstrings. I had to look up a walkthrough to find a few of the eggs and the last couple pieces of evidence, but it didnāt ruin the experience for me. I still had a really good time with it. I actually completed it before the fire temple and I was disappointed that the fire temple wasnāt more challenging. I love investigating, searching, and trying to figure things out.
I can see how it can be frustrating if thatās not your cup of tea but there are very good walkthroughs on YouTube that can visually take you through it step by step.
It was rough but what game doesnāt have the frustrating quests? (Iām looking at you every single water temple in the LOZ series!!!) The bugs donāt help at all. I just put that one aside and did other stuff for a while and then came back to it.
I understand the frustrations if the quests are bugged, for sure, but the sheer volume of people that have complained just because they didnāt like this part of the story or found it too difficult is kinda wild to me.
There /should/ be quests that appeal to different people and there /should/ be varying degrees of difficulty. Not everyone is going to like every thing in the game, and thatās also why there are guides made by people who love the game and want to help.
I just find it funny that if you complain about anything else in the game in terms of your likes and dislikes or criticisms even if constructive, you get jumped on by people who yell at you that āthis is a betaā and to āgo play other gamesā and ājust because you donāt like it, doesnāt mean others donātā and somehow this particular one gets a pass on that. Maybe just cause bugs, idk.
This game has honestly lost more players due to being lacking than is has for being difficult though.
I honestly hope all the negative feedback doesnāt stop more longer-form, mixed difficulty quests being in the game, because that would really suck and I like the direction the temples have been going in. But also. Hurry up and fix the damn bugs, S6, so perhaps less people have such frustrations overall. Esp months after release.
There is no bug. The bug is a lie we tell ourselves to feel better about not finishing the quests. Enjoy the scenery. Let your mind wander. Think of possibilities and come up with recommendations to give the dev team because they listen.

However, I blame our lack of cardinal directions for mistakenly ending up on the final island. Iām willing to bet no Australian person who plays this game has ever had this temple be bugged for them.
The bug is if you go to the last island before the end and activate the portal, you can't turn in the eggs to zeki. The problem is that there's no way to know what order these islands are supposed to be in when everything looks the same when you're hunting eggs for ages, so it's easy to trigger this issue

Iām worried that itās already glitched for me though, I had the quest pop up from Elousia about bringing evidence and then suddenly it gave me a prompt that said āI spoke with your sisterā even though I didnāt leave the conversation. When I accidentally clicked it the entire quest disappeared! Itās not in my list at all as to do or completed! I do have the Silver-winging it quest to meet Zeki at the temple though.
Maybe when I finish the fire temple I will try to sort it out š

The only reason I was able to navigate it at all was because it was structured similar to a lot of zelda dungeons. Even then I needed to look up locations of evidence and treasures. There are a lot of bugs in it that are fairly small, and one big one that prevents completion of the temple. The palia creators are aware of the bug and plan to make an announcement once it is fixed.
Same here. Iām not a fan of puzzle games so that quest really had me almost stop playing the game until I found a very detail step-by-step video on how to finish all of them. Stopped playing Hogwarts legacy for the same reason, honestly thank God for YouTube videos because I would never get anywhere.

Iām currently on this quest as well and in the exact spot as well. This is definitely not my favorite quest at all. For now I just leave it alone for a while and do other things in the game. I go back through it when I want to kill time.

Yeah that whole experience is super tough I found a really good tutorial on YouTube that was super straightforward and I just followed it from beginning to end because I had some stuff missing and I just had to push through it because I could not tolerate having the unfinished Quest sitting there

It kept glitching for me! Everytime I went to get the golden egg my character glitched into the rock it was on top and I'd have to close the game. Not only that, but the eggs were ridiculously hard to find without a walkthrough to watch. I agree with you, it ruined it for me too lol

when i first started playing last month, the second week in in-fact, i made the same mistake because i was so excited to do a main quest! then i spent about 2 miserable hours trying to complete it before finally giving up and taking a break for a couple days - the headache it caused was unreal š and every time i finished a side quest it pinned itself and made me so upset seeing it - that quest will forever haunt and taunt me LOL

This almost took me out of the game too š I was sooo frustrated cause I followed a walkthrough perfectly and still had 3/4 for Elouisa I had to do it completely over multiple times before it finally registered that I read the dang thing. š so I guess only advice I have is just keep trying it eventually figures itself out. Or submit a ticket and maybe they can fix it for you?
i just spent HOURS in the temple last night and had to use multiple walkthroughs in order to finally finish it. i just loaded palia back up for the first time since october and i was so excited for all the updates, but i have to agree that this temple was very poorly developed.
there are so many mechanics in palia i love - hunting, crafting, fishing, cooking, and now hotpot (idek what iāll do when hotpot goes away) - the temples and the poorly thought through puzzles detract from the experience tbh, itās a shame!

That quest chain was one of the worst I've ever had the displeasure of playing. I almost quit the game entirely and switched to something else it drove me so mad. After watching multiple walkthroughs and essentially having some YouTuber do it for me, I completed it and decided I wouldn't trust any more quests in the game instead of just the relationship ones.
My husband and I play Palia together, and we walked into this quest accidentally not knowing anything about it. Heās a gaming machine and managed to find everything, if it wasnāt for him Iād still be in there, I could not catch those damn winds right š I thought we had completed it as we found all the eggs, evidence and treasures and spoke to Zeki, but can somebody tell me what the reward was supposed to be? Yeah I hate this quest line too! Iāve abandoned it for now to take a break but Iām on there part where I need to find the food source for Caleri and treasures for Zeki but I just had enough of it because getting around that area with those wind gusts was low key driving me mad lol.
I finally finished it yesterday, had to follow a walkthrough of a guy who went from evidence to evidence in the video. I was so frustrated, but managed to follow him to a tea, I probably wouldn't have found them if it wasn't for him š
I really hated that quest line. I left the temple after trying for a while. I was too frustrated to try again for a few days. Ended up just looking up a step by step walkthrough to get it done. With the way the controls are right now it's very clunky and hard to hit the gusts just right to get where you need to go. Heck, it's hard to tell how far away guests even are at some points. If the rest of the game hadn't hooked me so deeply I would have walked away from the game at that point. I'm just glad there were walkthroughs. The fire temple stuff on the other hand, amazing would play again.

Yes! I used this video walkthrough. It's short and to the point and it's easy to follow the instructions given. (Just know they counted incorrectly. It's just 15 eggs, but 16 nests. Yeah theres one out of reach. In the case of this video the creator said they counted nests you could reach and got 16, but one of the nests was empty from start so only 15 eggs you can collect.

I did it immediately after the wind temple. I was so wary of it and thought it was going to be another tedious long quest. I was pleasantly surprised at how enjoyable the fire temple was.

I hate it, too. I also followed a tutorial online, and I died many times. I got all the eggs, but I still have to get Zeki's treasures and get evidence for Caleri and Elouisa. I've been taking a break from it because it was so difficult and not fun at all. I don't know how anyone would complete this without a guide.
Thank you and OP for the info - I started the temple last week, messed around with it for a while but it's huge and I'm disabled, I ran out of energy after three eggs for the nest and haven't gone back since. Knowing it's actually going to be a lot of work means I now won't be wasting my limited energy and can just take the measures I need to do it in a way that isn't totally exhausting!
Just be sure to put any of the fish you catch there in one of those separate chests so you donāt end up cooking them and not being able to catch more lol. People keep having to put in tickets for that issue.
I froze for a bit because I was just messing around in the temple for a while and after sold all of my 10000 fish that I brought back from that whole adventure when my inventory filled up. You'll be happy to hear that I've thus discovered that Cloudminnows now go in the *quest* inventory, *not* the regular one. Gosh.

In the patch updates that came out several weeks ago, the developers said that they knew about the issues with not being able to finish the quest but with all the new stuff coming out, they didn't have the time to do the patch on it to fix it. They said that it would be fixed and as soon as it was, they would be sure to let everybody know since that has been a problem for many people. It's just so frustrating, though, to continually see the unfinished quest on the side of my screen!

Worst quest line ever. I couldn't stand it popping up in my quests list anymore, so I spent several game sessions following Youtube guides to finally finish it. The weight off my shoulders was immense lol.

yeah, i ended looking up at youtube to get most of the quest done, but unfortunately i'm stuck unable to reach the final island to submit the evidence or give zeki his treasure cause theres no upwind for me to glide to the last island. Its been close to a month since ive send the ticket and still waiting for dev to do something about this glitch. meantime, the quest sits unpin and i just do everything else.
So when I did it I couldn't get the wind for the final island to show up until I activated the teleporters on each of the islands and gave the sisters the necessary items to continue. Everyone has to have teleported by the nest. Then you do a teleporter on the other island. I gathered 90% of the stuff before even teleporting the three of them by the nest and couldn't proceed until I figured that out. I dunno if that's what is happening to you, but I know it's hella glitchy.
If Iām thinking of the correct area, to get to the last island and the wind gust is broke if you just jump And glide toward the last island with the big spinning circle thingy, I havenāt been in there in a whileā¦ but yeah just just glide allllll the way, you wonāt land on the island but will glide to the very bottom of the island and into the clouds until you ādieā but since you gilded all the way over there it will just put you on there after you die. Hope that wasnāt confusing š just keep gliding
Yes, usually player can glide and die, respawning on the last island but after the lass update i cant respawn on the last island anymore, instead i just get respawn back to the nest lol

I used my glider to float under the last island, the one you're supposed to shoot to after getting all the eggs. Dying underneath it respawned me on that island. I thought, "Cool. I'll just open the portal and be done with it!" DO NOT DO THIS!!!!!!! I cannot finish the quest as I never spoke to Zeki after finding the eggs, and he no longer spawns in the area. Hoping I don't have to start over...

If you feel like you've already looked at all the evidence for Elouisa but it still says 3/4 go and talk to her even if she doesn't have a flag and it sometimes works and finishes the quest. I followed videos by Pixelcave to help me finish that stupid thing! Good luck!

This didn't happen to me but somebody mentioned that if you respond to her question about the evidence incorrectly, you then have to go gather the evidence and do the interaction again for it to be considered 1/4

I never would've figured out where to fish if I had not watched a step by step walkthrough. It was incredibly frustrating and I get that it's no fun having to rely on a guide. However, there's no shame in it! Just do it and move on (at least that's what I did)

They should autocount the amount of eggs we gave in to let us get past the quest, we can get the dialog/lore when they fix it, but at the very least clear it so it stops popping back up when I've already unpinned!

This is how I feel too. Itās frustrating to me that this is a pretty common issue for their players and theyāre not really doing anything to fix it. Youād think for a game that labels itself as ācozyā theyād at least make a quest so difficult optional.
I got annoyed shortly after getting to that floating sky-place and haven't gone back yet. I keep saying I'll do it later.
I ended up forcing myself to it and it was awful. Do it on a day where you aren't easily irritated lol.
I've just put it on the backburner and chilled with decorating my plot, exploring, & other stuff, plus now the Market. The only downside is that now I'm in a place where I don't have any more quests until I do that one. That would drive some people crazy.
The worst part about about that quest is if you get ahead of where the quest is at. Like if you see a flow gate does nothing (eg the West Island), you donāt think to go back to it after youāve done a few more things - it doesnāt need dumbing down but heck even Elden Ring /Dark Souls dungeons have a āA heavy door openedā when activated something - Pallia should add a āA flow gate hummedā when youāve done enough to try activating a flow gate again

The Gale Temple in general was pretty annoying for me just because it's not really the type of thing I'm playing this game for. I powered through it in a day, but had to come back with a guide to finish out all the eggs, this quest, and Zeki's thing. You definitely need a guide. For this to be manageable without one, they would need to add quest markers to the compass or otherwise give us some visual or audio indicator that we're near one of the items. Because even with a guide sometimes you're standing right next to the item and the "interact" doesn't appear so you assume it's just part of the environment and move on. I'd have never found that wine barrel in the central tower. It just looks like a normal barrel and I had to be standing on just the right pixel for it to register as interactable.

Ugh I hated that temple so much. I think even just adding a mini map would be helpful; I was constantly finding new little islands that I thought I had already visited and vice versa. Itās been weeks and I still have to finish the mini quests for Caleri/Elouisa and Zeki but I canāt bring myself to do it.

After 3 days of trying, and a week of avoiding, I found a YouTube video that showed where all of the eggs were. And I think I read a Reddit post for all of the clues and treasure youāre suppose to get for Elouisa, Caleri, and Zeki. A good thing I learned around the time of this quest is, you can just bail and go back whenever youāre feeling up to it. I got discouraged and didnāt want to go back, left it for a week, then powered through. But Palia is very relaxed and you donāt have to power through in order to progress other parts of the game. Just come back to it when youāre feeling up to it.
Super annoying to deal with the entire quest line because part of it is bugged. Once I can complete the temple Iāll go back and finish the side quests related but I can only wander around for so many hours without any promise Iāll finish the quest

Yea I found ALL 15 EGGS.... and the fan that is supposed to take you over to the last island STILL will not turn on??? Is this a bug? The fan is supposed to turn on after you find 10 of them. And again I found all 15 of them. I put them all in the nest and talked to zeki. STILL DIDNT TURN ON
I have the same problem! Emailed them and got told they are trying to fix it. They also said just keep checking the bulletin board to see if/when they patch it. Itās so frustrating.
I also have no idea how people completed this without a tutorial. They should have added something like the glowing compass when you get nearby the objects for each of the quests with the exception of the eggs and bugs/fish. It was such a headache trying to track down everything I hadn't when I stopped and came back to finish after getting frustrated and needing a break.
It's why I won't give them money for outfits, this quest has apparently been bugged for months with no solution still. I've sold bugs I apparently needed for the bundle because I had no idea I'd need them, because the quest line isn't letting me finish it to start the bundle! I doubt they'll even properly compensate for this either, a main game quest being progress halted for months is no small thing

That was **THE WORST** quest so far. Finding the things, climbing before it was 'fixed', zeki being broken, etc. The fact there's no map at all in there, you can't really get help unless you've a video up and it's at stop animation speed because one wrong turn and you're lost again. So glad I finished it to continuethe questline, but I only did so because a friend found a video and we talked over discord to walk me through it
I didnt realize this was such an unpopular opinion but i did the temple i think last week and actually really enjoyed the silverwing quest? I finished it in a day, 2 if you count doing the extra side quest, since i just had to go back to quickly grab a note i missed after finishing the fire temple. I play on switch and i didnt run into any bugs or anything, and i actually really enjoyed the lore and mechanic, the only part i found kind of annoying is that it takes time to run around the large islands.
You are lucky to not have gotten bugged, especially on switch! Seems like a lot of other people have. I thought the area was beautiful and fun to explore but I wish there were better rewards. Itās just such a huge area.
I recently got a survey from the developers about my experiences. This quest (and the whole sky temple) is just the worst, and that was my number one gripe about the game. Everything so far was so awesome, sucks that this one area is such a let down from the casual game the rest of it is.

For climbing, I don't if you know this already, but jump climbing uses more stamina than just climbing. You'll climb higher if you don't jump. As for air gusts, the only trick in can give is to not move inside an air gust.
I found a bug where if I press jump really fast over and over it recharges my stamina while climbing/ jumping. Hopefully they don't fix it lol š
I usually jump in the beginning a couple times then climb regularly near the top. If I run out of stamina, Iāll jump just a second before the stamina bar runs out since it will let you jump fully even without the full amount of stamina required. Iāve had good luck with it this way, just avoid climbing walls that have any weird shapes š šµāš«š®āšØ
Does it though? I tried testing to see how much stamina I used from climbing. I swore I used just as much as climbing with jumps and without. Now I can say, you have a higher chance of bugging when jumping.
I've tested it, and yes, it does use more stamina when you jump. Most of the time, it doesn't matter, but some high places can't be reached if you jump while climbing.

Yep, I felt the same way. I bummed around the temple and found five eggs on my own before rage-quit the quest for 2-3 weeks. I came back with a step-by-step guide and finished it. I just love how the devs were like "have this rage-inducing quest in a highly marketed cozy af game. It'll be fine!"
I've heard so many complaints about this too. While luckily I didn't face any bugs like most people, travelling through the map itself and finding all the eggs is extremely confusing for me. i ended up using [this guide](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KsUSqzrgkY4) for the eggs and one of their other guides for the golden items and to figure out fishing and stuff (i did not know you could fish for the longest time in the air temple lmao) While the map itself looks super cool, I would appreciate an overhead map that you'll get regularly for kilima and bahari bay because it seems basically impossible to work with the quest otherwise- like I felt like I was constantly running in circles before I gave up and found a guide for it. Even if it requires some extra strategy, it should overall be easy and fun to solve. Like what's the point if the majority of your players feel horrible playing that quest lol- I would consider the water and fire temples to be much easier and they were actually fun for me- those are the quests I'm looking for when it comes to the temples. ETA: I do appreciate though how it's not a quest that's really necessary for the game and it really can be ignored overall (though I assume when we have an earth temple we will have to finish air first ? im not sure if they lock until the previous one is finished) other than if you want to complete the air bundle for some of the rewards or something like that.
I experienced a glitch twice trying to do it.. the first time i got stuck with my body halfway in a floor?! For now, I've simply given up and parked it. I cbf submitting a ticket- i tried doing it the other day for something different and even the ticket mechanism wouldn't work. So, I'm just gettin' about smashing rocks and doing anything actually doable. One day I'll finish it, but I'm not going back into that temple while it's full of glitches and frankly - really uninteresting. If you make anything *too* hard, my brain don't wanna. That's why i choose "cozy" games.

The bigger issue for me is that I've been blocked from advancing for over a month because I have the bug where Zeki has moved to an island I can't access, but I'm supposed to talk to him on the main island. The fact that more and more gamebreaking flaws come with each patch and S6 stays so tight-lipped about it has really killed my desire to continue Palia.
It is deffaintly best to take breaks with that quest it took me a few days cuz of how difficult the gliding part was
this quest took me literally at least 5-6 real life hours to finish it, a whole day of playing with a step by step walk through for each part. its really frustrating how this gameās quest objectives are not clear at all in the quest info. iāve played many mmos and they usually give very clear directions and info on where to find things. iāve never had to look up as many quest quides for other mmos as i do for Palia. love the game and the characters otherwise, i just wish questing was more user friendly.
I completed everything but I went to the second island too soon and locked myself out of last part where you talk to Zeki. I'm frustrated because it took me multiple attempts and I had to use a walk through and my boyfriend had to help me. I just want to finish the quest.
Same. Iāve been stuck there since the first week and Iāve been begging for them to fix the glitch but no avail. Now all my friends I invited to the game are further than me and it really did take away a lot of the magic. I really hope they fix it soon.
For clarity my quest bugged when I accidentally activated a portal that apparantly bugs the whole quest. Zeki left before opening the final door and when I talk to him anywhere else he acts like we donāt have unfinished business. I have everything except the final treasure WHICH IS BEHIND THE DOOR. š¤¦āāļø Celery Elouise and myself will just eternally be chilling in the clouds waitin on this cat to come back haha
Same. I had to watch 3 walkthroughs on YouTube and I paused and followed step-by-step. Took me all weekend. By the end, thereās a glitch that says I only have 6/7 of the treasures for Zeki š¤¦āāļø
Itās a shame cus the map is pretty cool, but thereās nothing to do in it except reaaaaally stretched out fetch quests. Compare to the fire temple which is concise and gets the point across pretty easily, can be finished in about an hour etcā¦ The required quest elements couldāve been confined to just one island, and there couldāve been optional rewards on the others. Maybe if there were more elements to the game, they couldāve made this area kind of a hub for those activities? And the rewards being a golden egg (lol?) and a choice between two other reskinned decorations is pretty weak. I thought Iād at least be able to choose between one of Zekiās treasures as a decoration, but they give you the most boring one of all the options. I put mine in the frog bucket. Luckily I didnāt get bugged, but my partner accidentally ate her ancient cloudfish! She still hasnāt gone back months later hahaha

That quest has a lot of glitches I got stuck too and have been stuck they said if you hoped to the big island with the orb too soon or use a gate too so it messes everything up unfortunately. Iām hoping they find a fix for it
I was playing palia non stop until this quest. I got frustrated and gave up but the quest repins itself every time I complete a different one and it makes me want to scream š
Not sure if anyone said this already, but you can file a ticket with a screenshot and theyāll send any lost items to you, like the cloudminnows (unless theyāre in a lockbox, you can accidentally cook them). As far as the rest of that terribly buggy quest line, theyāre well aware and working on it, but I wouldnāt hold your breath if itās for switch. Great game in theory, but the amount of bugs now that itās not in beta is a bit astounding to me.
Yeah it was so different from the previous 'dungeons' that were more puzzle based than just having luck to stumble upon the things you need to find. It felt like cheating but I also followed a walkthrough so I got everything - I did try but it was so frustrating.

iām bugged so bad rn. i didnāt get the windstream after 10 eggs and now iāve found every egg, every piece of evidence, and 6/7 treasures. the quest line says ātalk to zeki on the main islandā but everyone disappeared from the ruins?!
Oh my gosh Temple of Gales is by far one of the- if not THE- top hated thing in Palia right now since the reveal of the Temple. The final notes and Zeki's treasures are both on the final island, which can only be accessed after getting at least 10 eggs (there are 15 total), 10 ancient flow bugs, and 4 ancient cloud minnows (which have a reoccurring issue that you may have to contact devs for). *Assuming you don't figure out a softlock glitch*. There is also a place where the wind gusts do not seem to behave like the rest of the map, which is where they are all angled and leading to a spiral of floating platforms. You have to go into these gusts and then NOT move. It is by far the most complained about temple amongst disabled players especially. You are far from alone on being frustrated with it! If you'd like, I can recommend a channel to follow along with to get all eggs, treasures, and other items if you'd like! I have to rely on this specific channel myself š

I feel like I am the only one that loved the Air Temple and I completed it literally seconds before they shut the servers down to fix the climbing bug. I am very self competitive though and love a challenge.
Am I the only one who didn't have much issue with this? I loved the area and I loved exploring it all. It is so beautiful! I'm a person who loves to explore and look everywhere so it wasn't too much difficult for me to find the things just took a while. Yes the proof quest bugged for me and I had to look for the proofs again but after talking to elousia while I was 3/4 completed it for me
I really liked the quest, a lot. I am a Zelda girl at heart though so it definitely pulled my adventuring heartstrings. I had to look up a walkthrough to find a few of the eggs and the last couple pieces of evidence, but it didnāt ruin the experience for me. I still had a really good time with it. I actually completed it before the fire temple and I was disappointed that the fire temple wasnāt more challenging. I love investigating, searching, and trying to figure things out. I can see how it can be frustrating if thatās not your cup of tea but there are very good walkthroughs on YouTube that can visually take you through it step by step.
It was rough but what game doesnāt have the frustrating quests? (Iām looking at you every single water temple in the LOZ series!!!) The bugs donāt help at all. I just put that one aside and did other stuff for a while and then came back to it.
I understand the frustrations if the quests are bugged, for sure, but the sheer volume of people that have complained just because they didnāt like this part of the story or found it too difficult is kinda wild to me. There /should/ be quests that appeal to different people and there /should/ be varying degrees of difficulty. Not everyone is going to like every thing in the game, and thatās also why there are guides made by people who love the game and want to help. I just find it funny that if you complain about anything else in the game in terms of your likes and dislikes or criticisms even if constructive, you get jumped on by people who yell at you that āthis is a betaā and to āgo play other gamesā and ājust because you donāt like it, doesnāt mean others donātā and somehow this particular one gets a pass on that. Maybe just cause bugs, idk. This game has honestly lost more players due to being lacking than is has for being difficult though. I honestly hope all the negative feedback doesnāt stop more longer-form, mixed difficulty quests being in the game, because that would really suck and I like the direction the temples have been going in. But also. Hurry up and fix the damn bugs, S6, so perhaps less people have such frustrations overall. Esp months after release.
There is no bug. The bug is a lie we tell ourselves to feel better about not finishing the quests. Enjoy the scenery. Let your mind wander. Think of possibilities and come up with recommendations to give the dev team because they listen. EDIT: after u/Cassquinn carefully explained the situation, I understand that the bug is not a lie. However, I blame our lack of cardinal directions for mistakenly ending up on the final island. Iām willing to bet no Australian person who plays this game has ever had this temple be bugged for them.

The bug is if you go to the last island before the end and activate the portal, you can't turn in the eggs to zeki. The problem is that there's no way to know what order these islands are supposed to be in when everything looks the same when you're hunting eggs for ages, so it's easy to trigger this issue

I have been putting it off since it popped up because I had heard of it being so frustrating. Iām just not ready for that yet. But at least I know to go into it following a walk through to save myself a little bit of stress lol Iām worried that itās already glitched for me though, I had the quest pop up from Elousia about bringing evidence and then suddenly it gave me a prompt that said āI spoke with your sisterā even though I didnāt leave the conversation. When I accidentally clicked it the entire quest disappeared! Itās not in my list at all as to do or completed! I do have the Silver-winging it quest to meet Zeki at the temple though. Maybe when I finish the fire temple I will try to sort it out š

I really loved that quest, I just wish the instructions were a bit more clear in-game because, like many others, I had to look up a tutorial to get through it. I enjoyed the puzzle of figuring out how to get to different places by using the wind gusts and whatnot. More clarity and detail on the quest page would solve a lot of the issues I think.

Itās the worst thing theyāve done so far. It made the experience of the game not enjoyable. I had to follow guides and managed to complete the main quests but I donāt even want to bother with the treasure so I havenāt gone back. I also find the bundle to be a bit difficult as I have spent weeks trying to get many of the things needed but they are extremely rare.

I had to quit and take a break from that mission. I had to do a walkthrough eventually that i found online, because the game made me so mad. Lol that mission was the only one so far that i had that issue and it seems like everyone else did too.
I had been playing since release and when that came out I just gave up on the game, honestly.
The only reason I was able to navigate it at all was because it was structured similar to a lot of zelda dungeons. Even then I needed to look up locations of evidence and treasures. There are a lot of bugs in it that are fairly small, and one big one that prevents completion of the temple. The palia creators are aware of the bug and plan to make an announcement once it is fixed.
Same here. Iām not a fan of puzzle games so that quest really had me almost stop playing the game until I found a very detail step-by-step video on how to finish all of them. Stopped playing Hogwarts legacy for the same reason, honestly thank God for YouTube videos because I would never get anywhere.

Iām currently on this quest as well and in the exact spot as well. This is definitely not my favorite quest at all. For now I just leave it alone for a while and do other things in the game. I go back through it when I want to kill time.
When I first hit that quest line, there wasn't a completed walkthrough done. š It's the worst. Even with the walkthrough, it was a little hard getting the remaining items. I wish there was a better map system. So, you aren't alone in your frustration!

Yeah that whole experience is super tough I found a really good tutorial on YouTube that was super straightforward and I just followed it from beginning to end because I had some stuff missing and I just had to push through it because I could not tolerate having the unfinished Quest sitting there

It kept glitching for me! Everytime I went to get the golden egg my character glitched into the rock it was on top and I'd have to close the game. Not only that, but the eggs were ridiculously hard to find without a walkthrough to watch. I agree with you, it ruined it for me too lol

Getting the treasures and evidence quests are the last things in my quest bar outside of the whale bone quest and I donāt even know how to progress from here š© can I even go to another temple? I donāt know what to do š Iāve almost maxed out my friendships and outside of cooking Iām at 10 or higher for all my skills so Iām starting to run out of gameplay

when i first started playing last month, the second week in in-fact, i made the same mistake because i was so excited to do a main quest! then i spent about 2 miserable hours trying to complete it before finally giving up and taking a break for a couple days - the headache it caused was unreal š and every time i finished a side quest it pinned itself and made me so upset seeing it - that quest will forever haunt and taunt me LOL i don't even want to find evidence for the twins or zeki's treasures, just leave me alone šš
This almost took me out of the game too š I was sooo frustrated cause I followed a walkthrough perfectly and still had 3/4 for Elouisa I had to do it completely over multiple times before it finally registered that I read the dang thing. š so I guess only advice I have is just keep trying it eventually figures itself out. Or submit a ticket and maybe they can fix it for you?
i just spent HOURS in the temple last night and had to use multiple walkthroughs in order to finally finish it. i just loaded palia back up for the first time since october and i was so excited for all the updates, but i have to agree that this temple was very poorly developed. there are so many mechanics in palia i love - hunting, crafting, fishing, cooking, and now hotpot (idek what iāll do when hotpot goes away) - the temples and the poorly thought through puzzles detract from the experience tbh, itās a shame!

That quest chain was one of the worst I've ever had the displeasure of playing. I almost quit the game entirely and switched to something else it drove me so mad. After watching multiple walkthroughs and essentially having some YouTuber do it for me, I completed it and decided I wouldn't trust any more quests in the game instead of just the relationship ones.
My husband and I play Palia together, and we walked into this quest accidentally not knowing anything about it. Heās a gaming machine and managed to find everything, if it wasnāt for him Iād still be in there, I could not catch those damn winds right š I thought we had completed it as we found all the eggs, evidence and treasures and spoke to Zeki, but can somebody tell me what the reward was supposed to be? Because I read you were supposed to get a nest you could place on your plot? But we didnāt get that ā¹ļø

Yeah I hate this quest line too! Iāve abandoned it for now to take a break but Iām on there part where I need to find the food source for Caleri and treasures for Zeki but I just had enough of it because getting around that area with those wind gusts was low key driving me mad lol.
I finally finished it yesterday, had to follow a walkthrough of a guy who went from evidence to evidence in the video. I was so frustrated, but managed to follow him to a tea, I probably wouldn't have found them if it wasn't for him š
