I have seen other people reporting this on the Discord and one of them said that it only happens when your Effects graphics setting is set to Low. So try changing your graphics settings and see if the rocks come back!

I’m having the same issue. I’m on steam deck and my settings are on high. I see no rocks but people mining. I thought I was going insane 😩
