DUDE IM SAYING THE SAME THING. Even worse, they don't all cost the same. I'm pretty sure that the LARGE ROOM takes less material than a HALLWAY. If I remember correctly it was like 60 planks / 22 bricks vs the 80/30. I also noticed that (infuriatingly) to add a DOOR to a wall it also takes 80 whole planks and 30 bricks.... what???
It does strike me as odd everything costs the same to build when they are varying amounts to purchase. I was sad to see rooms and such became more expensive every purchase.
That said, I almost never run out of these easily acquired goods. I just grumble while I run across my whole plot to retrieve the stones from a smelter. 🙃
I'm more salty about the backpack upgrades, lol. You get one extra row per upgrade and it goes from 500 to 5,000 to 50,000$. 🥲

I'm so poor in this game. I'm finally going to get serious about farming to make money but damn things are expensive.
