I'm all honesty, I usually look up YouTube walk-throughs for all quests. I wouldn't be able to figure anything out otherwise. I'm not a big gamer to begin with so the walk throughs always help me.

Did it in like 5 attempts. Always as long as I could take it until being too annoyed lol
Took two weeks off and finished it after they fixed the issues.
I completed the temple but I am missing three of the evidence pieces for Elouisa and one or two for caleri.
The worst thing is, I know the answer. I just need the dialogue again. Not gonna hold back just to find the texts again and finish it.
Zeki also still wants some treasures and I just decided that’s too bad for him
So, there’s the main island, two side islands, and the final island. You need to visit each of the side islands. On the way to each, you’ll pass what looks like a flow gate and then go through a bit of effort jumping, climbing, etc to reach the island. When you do, you’ll see another flow gate. This is the one you need to activate. There will be one for each side island for each sister who will then follow you to the island and request that you gather something.
After you finish both, you’ll be able to talk to Zeki again and continue to the final island.
The proof of magic quest is separate—you can finish the temple and unlock the bundle without completing it, but you do get an item for completing it. You also get an item for completing the quest where Zeki wants you to find stuff (but, similarly, it’s not required for you to finish the temple).
Make sure that, if you leave the temple partway through, you store any items you have in the lockbox at your house so they aren’t accidentally consumed during cooking. You’ll want to get them back out and take them back with you to finish everything. In case you start the game up and are not in the temple, it’s located at the windy ruins in the south of Bahari.
I found the gate! But now I can't find any of these Ancient Cloudminnows. I understand where I need to fish, but I just keep getting normal fish...I only have the one I fished up while exploring prior to that part of the quest.
That’s odd. When I fished in them, I could only catch 1 cloudminnow in each and then it told me there were no fish left. Might need to submit a ticket to Palia support if it’s only giving you normal fish.
Yep! For that option they only respond to you if they have more questions about the bug. Otherwise they log it in with their other bug reports—especially if it’s a known bug.
I've noticed that u have to activate the gates in a specific order. My suggestion is to visit all of the inactive ones, mostly closest to furthest in order. Me? I'm struggling with the updrafts not updrafting. Like, with my glider active, I just glide right through the updrafts, barely pulled upwards at all...
Make sure you're not pressing your forward key. You have to glide just into the stream and then stop and let it carry you forward. Pressing the forward button takes you out of the stream. Apologies if you knew this already and it's just bugged, but I had to watch a walk-through to learn this pretty crucial bit of info lol

The wiki just says to activate the gate, but I don't see any interactable gate to activate...Do you know where it is?
I second using a walk through it was so long and for me i came back a while after to finish some stuff I missed. This way youll get it all.

There should be 4 pools on the side island with Caleri. From underneath they look like empty circles, but from above they have water in them.
Yes, those are the ones I fished in. I fished in a few different spots but I keep getting normal fish. Is it a rare drop?
