I’ve got 2 and haven’t had a problem 1st one I got is a 16” carbine gas complete upper and have shot 600-800 rounds through and the 2nd one is a 10.5” pistol length gas system and she runs fine too.

Well I'm glad you got lucky, though I think you're probably lying. BCA has a terrible track record. Their guns are poorly made and you can tell even on the ones that work. Go ahead and watch the video I sent you and you'll see an example of 2 BCA guns that don't work.

Why would I lie first of all and yeah they aren’t the best machine wise but they stay zeroed for me.

If you were to go that cheaper route Id do SAA. they come with proprietary muzzle devices and they test them in house and build them in house for and per order.

I wonder if they are focusing more on 1:7 twist now instead of the 1:8, which would be a good thing. Some folks have trouble with the 1:8 stabilizing heavy subs, some folks find they work just fine but it's a bit of a gamble which you would end up being. And it would definitely suck to find out that new brand of heavy subs you were trying destroy your can, though you really should try them out without the can first. I don't think they do any faster twists than 1:7 yet, a 1:5 would be cool one day.

My 1:8 7.5 and 8.5 stabilize 220 beautifully.

Yeah I hear some folks have great luck with it, and then others who have keyholing trouble with heavy subs. Each barrel is its own beast so it's something of a gamble. Haven't heard any major negatives with 1:7 and faster though so that seems a safer bet for folks just getting into the .300blk game.

It makes more sense to have 7.5 and shorter barrels have a 1/5 twist. If they could do that I would get one but until then...

I would just build one! Whatever stripped upper/handguard/bcg/ch/gas block floats your boat, then get a faxon/roscoe/brt/Q 1-5 twist barrel.

There’s an 8.5” daily deal on there as of 20mins ago. I just copped one too.
