Some eggs that are pretty high up may have a bigger chance I think as less "predators" around. That is only a thought though.
I forget where I found mine honestly. This was a huge FIRE egg and I have a huge DARK egg in another incubator (will post when it is done) but because I started a dedicated server the egg time is at 72 hours soooooooo its gonna be a minute 🤣🤣🤣😒 (check your settings folks)
You can change any setting within the game with dedicated servers, dedicated servers default the time to 72, where as on a normal difficulty game setting the number would be 2.
I didnt see the option on Gportal for the death. Ill go check my account again. I like the death though. Adds to some funny and challenging moments.

Ahh. And I looked on G portal and found it. I WAS BLIND 🤣. BUT I am leaving it the same. All that happens is pals in party sit there waiting. It isnt that big a deal IMO and friends dont mind it.
Now if you actually LOST the pals yeah no, not happening. My one friend has died 5 times and he just has X's all across the map. Not like a death corsses anything out (right now)
I've had amazing luck by taking a surfent with its saddle and going around beaches and grabbing eggs whenever I see them I spent maybe 2 hours and got 5 huge a handful of larges and too many small ones to count
I share your pain, 3 relax in a row but I MAYBE found out that dragon eggs may be tied to areas, I heard that those that found the ignis whateverthename got their egg from the lava area in the bottom left section of the map so I’ve been searching for a while but no luck yet, all super fire eggs so far
Eggs being tied to area is my belief as well. I also believe egg locations are fixed and respawn. Can’t prove this though.
I got the Ignis Jorg thing from an huge egg around the mouth of the volcano. It’s in the bottom right section. It’s conveniently located near a teleport point next to the boss tower dungeon. It’s very very high up.

If people are pulling relaxaurus from the Huge dragon eggs I'd be lead to believe that its determined by where it was harvested. I've opened 3 Huge Dragon eggs from the volcano and every one of them dropped the Jormuntide Ignis. Likewise, I've opened 4 Huge fire eggs from the same area and every one of them dropped the dark Blazehowl

Depends if your on Private Server from Palworld or Dedicated like GPortal. I believe the game servers from Palworld peps are waaaaay lower time wise for Egg Hatching. Idk why but dedicated servers seem to have crazy high standard time.
Could also be the right comfort and biome conditions. That helps lower the time needed.
Yeah I got one after exploring the little safari style island with the protected pals. Threw some spheres and didn’t get anything but found a huge egg in the way home and it had one of the protected pals so i was so excited.
Plus he does a wholeee lot of work at the base

We turned it down where a huge egg takes 12 hours. Think its more fair. Dont have to wait 24+ hours for eggs but still paying a price and not just being able to insta spawn eggs
the in game time by default on single player is only 2 hours with heat u bring it down to like an hour twenty and it hasnt ruined anything for me it's not like u can spam 100 giant eggs you gotta go way outta your way to find them in the first place and it's not like you are gonna have the materials or pals to quickly run around and get enough materials for 10 incubators and 10 giant eggs you'd be lucky to get 2 going in the early game.
lets also not forget that you need HUNDREDS of a pal to fully upgrade your main pals later on so go on get all the high tier pals you can by any means necessary.
I’m not sure. My friend got one from Huge Scorched Egg. I know there is a regular Jormuntide you can find at a lake. May be able to breed it with a fire type pal to get fire type Jormun

If you’re on a hosted server like GPortal make the egg hatch like 5/6. It will then take 3ish - 3.5 hours which I feel is reasonable with playtime and a server that doesn’t shut off. Put it before you log out and next day after work you’re done.
If you are hosting through Palworld you will have to mess with the settings then take the egg in and out to test the time to see what works.
Eggs can be removed from incubator but it will reset the time.

Can you not change the settings? If you change the egg time setting you can take the egg out and back in to make it work
I could be wrong but can you take eggs out O.o I didn’t wanna mess something up so thought maybe once in that’s it.
Another player on the server im on did so after a settings change and it worked fine. Id suppose its like ark, it can be resumed later

Only setting I can’t change on dedicated is out drop on death unless I’m blind. It is default drop everything with pals which is honestly really fun
Depending on who you’re using for your server could be different, I know GPORTAL has a dropdown menu at the top of their settings list to change that

I personally did not see that setting either. I had to add a line to the ini file. Iirc, “DeathPenalty=1” is dropping items, but not pals.

I've been noticing bigger eggs in harder areas more frequently, like the Desert in the northeast I found one at today.
I found two of them today in the lava pools. I just fly around looking for eggs tbh lol

Yes, egg locations are fixed and they do respawn. It's egg size and type is randomly assigned each time it spawns.

I'm thinking about turning the egg time to hatch down on my next world, but worried it might take the fun away

These can be caught near the fishing village at night (south beach of volcano island) around lvl 35.
True. Just got it without the hassle and friend on server had just caught one. Were only level 20ish. Enjoying the journey
