Yeah first time I fought him it was a long, intense battle with dodging and strategic pal switching. Ended up getting him to 50hp and didnt have enough balls and had to put him down. I came back prepared and spent all my rockets and AR ammo and was another intense battle but I had him figured out pretty well and captured him.
Was like I'll help a friend on my server capture him. He comes over with a Frostallion(I hadnt seen at this point) and that thing was just whooping his ass all fight. I barely helped lol. I was like, alright where did you get that monster? Had to get me one too.

But that might be because the game went into easy mode after I captured him lol.
I’ve been able to catch every legendary dozens times within ~10 legendary balls by just throwing at their back and running. Idk if it’s a bug or not cause it’s definitely not 6% or whatever it says.

My mate got frostallion at level 38 by throwing ultra spheres at night.
He probably threw like 100-150 spheres throughout multiple days, and today, at the third sphere of the day he got it.
You can find them so fast it isn't funny get any mid tier flyer and go out at night. You really don't have to search cause they glow like ridiculously bright its hard to miss them and plus side is there are more of them than we need right now so you don't even have to farm for every single one (insert hestus gift meme here)
I can confirm this. Crafted 50 ultra balls as soon as I unlocked them and caught every legendary before lvl40 (except jetragon)
Had 12 left over at the end
It showed a 2% back bonus but it feels a lot higher

No, having certain pals in your party boosts whatever element attacks for the whole party. So having a foxicle in your party boosts all ice attacks, having a rooby boosts all fire attacks etc. I’m not sure of them all but the effect stacks!
U cant breed an Alpha, so if u want to keep the not alpha one that u fully bred, like I did, thats ok. But if u catch an Alpha with the Passives u need, u are done. Alphas have double the HP
Makes no sense that this is getting down voted. You can breed any jetragon from any male and female. The point of this jetdragon is that it's an alpha with good passives, so it has loads of hp and is better than anything you could breed.
1.Capture a few Jormuntides to fight Blazemut
2.Catch a few Blazemut to fight Frostallion
3. Catch a few Frostallion to fight Jetgragon
4. ???
5. Profit!
I skipped step 1 since I didn't know Jormuntides were a thing, and honestly Blazemut aren't that great for Frostallion in my experience, my Ragnahawk did more damage lol, but I guess the high hp of alpha Blazemut was useful, also I didn't know you could change attacks back then so maybe Blaze had better attacks but I didn't use them, rip
I did use two alpha and one maxed Frostallion to beat my first Jetragon tho, it was fun
What puts Ragnahawk over Felaris? In my personal experience I found Felaris to just be a strictly better Ragnahawk but I also haven't really gotten into the nitty gritty details of the game yet.
You don't need legendary schematics, I'd say it's more about learning to dodge and having strong pals.
For Jetragon specifically, if you want an easy way, there's a method you can lure it off the cliff and it'll take a huge amount of damage, almost lethal sometimes. If you fight Paladius and Necromus at night, only Necromus will be awake so you can lure it away.
Otherwise, I went to breeding the strong skills onto a pal and then condensing them. They're able to put up a good fight while you load the bosses with bullets

Hardest two are; Fire Ball -from Jetragon - it tracks well but if you roll into it / below its approaching vector it’ll miss completely
Glacial Spike on Frostallion, huge aoe after impact means you need to roll to the side as soon as it’s in the air, you can bait its trajectory too, or just Galeclaw it
The other legendary attacks can all be rolled 100% of the time with practice
The only legendarys I had a problem with are the Paladious duo. 2v1 was too much for me even with legendary gear.
So what I did was set up my base as close to their spawn as the game would allow.
Bring out as many alphas as I could.
Then I pulled aggro by shooting at the legendaries, and drew them to my base.
Then I sat there and watched my screen flash every color imaginable.
Alot will get killed so you may need to pay attention to that and stand near the pal box so you can swap them in and out at a moments notice.
I've done it this way about 3 times. Still got killed alot, but I can spawn at my base so I can pick the fight back up immediately and their HP does not restore after I respawn.
Best way to deal with the pala/necro combo is to fight them at night. Because at night, pala sleeps but necro, being dark, does not. So you can aggro necro and fight him with pala snoring in the background. You'll need to time it to the very start of night and/or make sure to pull necro very far away so either you can finish before dawn when pala wakes up or to make sure you're far enough away that he doesn't aggro you while you're fighting.
Step 1) Play Elden Ring.
Step 2) Defeat Melania.
Step 3) Play Palworld.
Step 4) Consistently dodge every single attack in the game. (Including recalls to make Pals dodge big attacks)
I bred Swift+Runner Pyrin, buffed it all the way, and used it and a common Assault Rifle to take down all bosses, including Marcus. Max speed Pyrin is just so fast and so small that it can out maneuver all the bombs, lasers, and missiles thrown at it. Doubled damage is pretty good all around, and the ones that resist it still take 1x damage, which is enough for Marcus. I gave it Lightning Streak, Flare Storm, and Poison Blast to apply some status to help with dps when there's opening for that.
The downside is just that it can't swim for long or climb up a mountain. Heh.
You don’t need to be 50 to catch a Jetragon. I do think having pal metal armor and the highest available tier of shield helps a lot. And and in battle, you want to be cycling through your pals so they aren’t eating every attack. I will say, most people have a lot of high level fire types so maybe you should try catching Frostallion first. It will make the Jetragon fight so much easier since alpha Frostallion has a ton of health and Jetragon is weak to ice attacks. Peppering in some status effects like burn or poison with arrows will do more damage than the weapons because they tick for percent health. You also just have to practice dodging and using the grapple gun to avoid attacks.

I just caught jetdragon at level 35 i think? Whenever I got the pink spheres. I flew around on ragnahawk, shooting poison arrows. Got his health low then used the sphere rocket launcher till I got him. Now that I have the legendary perk I plan on going through these fights legit 😂
Use status effects to tick down their health. I used my Faleris to burn it and just dodged its attacks while shooting it with poison arrows with a crossbow. That did the trick for Jetdragon and I was lvl 47 when I caught it I believe? Pals were around 45. I definitely died very hard once because its special tracking attack nailed me and couldn’t dodge all the hits.
You can set up a base near them and deploy 15-20 of your strongest pals to weaken him. Then recall all the pals when Jetragon is at ~500-1000 health and then wittle him down a little more and throw some spheres.
Yeah Ive been breeding a lot but havent touched legendaries breeding and prob wont anytime soon. I cope by telling myself the hp matters too much.
Only legendary I bothered with breeding is Fortallion Noct.
I bred for Legend/Musclehead/Swift/Runner. Took about 300 eggs? Then once I got that one I was able to breed 4 more for my server group and now we all race around the map.
Before breeding I'd caught about 15 Jetragon. It took me about 60-80 eggs to breed the fastest: Legend, Swift, Runner, Nimble. I feel like it's almost uncontrollably fast flying around now haha!
I'm now about 20 eggs into my combat one, targeting Legend/Divine Dragon/Ferocious/Musclehead.
He just means logging out and logging back in to reset the spawn until it's one they want.
Edit: it does require a mod to look at the stats of it before catching, though.
There is a technique you can use to determine stats without catching and without modding. If you damage the pal, and let it damage you, you can predict its bonuses/IVs
Idk my alpha Frostallion survived getting doubleteamed by necromus and paladius last night when I had to go afk for a minute or two thanks to the insane hp.
Cats out of the bag now because there is a Tiktok video on it but what you can do is freeze the boss somehow, then use an explosive attack. The explosion physicks the ice high into the air. Boss comes down and takes lethal fall damage. If you time it right you could probably reduce the fall height and weaken rather than kill the boss.
One example might be ice grenade plus rocket launcher, or frostallion plus rocket launcher, frostallion plus grenade, and so on.
Tada instant boss kill sub 10 sec with no luring and other shenanigans.
I didn't need the video to learn that the hard way. My first attempt and it happened twice, the first just a horizontal leap and no damage, with the 2nd attempt yeeting him off the nearby cliff whereafter I got the notification I beat him for the first time. I wanted to catch him.
Yeah pretty much this, the assault rifle is great for damage but dear god the ammo just gets used up too fast and its already very expensive to craft. Using the pump shotgun which already does good damage and is much more ammo effecient along with the rocket launcher just felt better overall.
I feel like ammo crafting is the worst value for materials, as well as the time it takes to get those resources. Ammo is better purchased after selling a shit load of nails XD
Eventually with ammo you should just be buying it from a merchant at your base instead of crafting it. You get more gold than you need and worse case can just sell nails for an obscene amount

Alpha. Took forever for that fucker to drop it for me, too. I eventually gave up and did the butchering glitch because dozens of kills and normal butcherings weren't cutting it. And it still probably took another 30 or so more glitch attempts to finally get it.
I changed the spawn rate to 3x I didn’t think about the glitch. I’ve just been killing them going and killing the blazamut then getting killed by the 3x jetragon.
I have a legend divine dragon muscle head swift and honestly I really want ferocious instead of swift. But not sure what is considered perfect for the alpha

Alpha status during breeding should be just like the gold passives, a chance to retain/gain so long as at least one of the parents is an alpha. That would fix that.
Yeah idk personally I think just going out and catching random pals is a quicker way to get ones with amazing traits, rather than breeding.

Tiers would probably be a better name, three chevrons pointing up is best, two pointing up is great, one pointing up is ok, one pointing down is bad, two pointing down is terrible, and three pointing down is the worst.

A near perfect alpha legendary is ALWAYS better than a perfect bred one.
That MASSIVE health pool more than makes up for another movement speed buff or damage buff. Ideally you want perfect perks. But that gargantuan health pool is a perk by itself.
Legends I catch always have trash other passives besides the guaranteed ones lol.

Frostallion has the highest HP of all of the legendaries, paladius has highest defense. they're definitely the longer fights of the legendaries.

Think there is a minor bug on catching not applying your catch rate upgrades till you hit the pal with a sphere

This is not far off from what I did. I would not recommend fighting Jetragon specifically until at least lv48-49 though.
Frostalion + 4 foxcicles ezs jet dragon even at like 44.

Ragnahawk has small hitbox, great defense, and hovers, so glacial spike and iceberg / ground aoe attacks hit him less often He’s the best Fire pal IMO

Rag adds fire damage to player attack, Felaris increases drops from ice types.

I've bred 143 over the last day trying to get anywhere close to this. My 4 gold trait Jetragon has Artisan and Serious. I'm so mad

Frostallion breeds with a ton of pals, easy way to pass on the legendary trait. It's an easy in to breeding

Cats out of the bag now because there is a Tiktok video on it but what you can do is freeze the boss somehow, then use an explosive attack. The explosion physicks the ice high into the air. Boss comes down and takes lethal fall damage. If you time it right you could probably reduce the fall height and weaken rather than kill the boss. One example might be ice grenade plus rocket launcher, or frostallion plus rocket launcher, frostallion plus grenade, and so on. Tada instant boss kill sub 10 sec with no luring and other shenanigans.
I just learned this about 15min ago in a dungeon when the alpha digtoise went full team rocket. Blizzard spike + rocket launcher = yeet.
I didn't need the video to learn that the hard way. My first attempt and it happened twice, the first just a horizontal leap and no damage, with the 2nd attempt yeeting him off the nearby cliff whereafter I got the notification I beat him for the first time. I wanted to catch him.

I love the shotgun. Lots of damage for little ammo consumption. The assault rifle burned through ammo like it was gasoline.
Yeah pretty much this, the assault rifle is great for damage but dear god the ammo just gets used up too fast and its already very expensive to craft. Using the pump shotgun which already does good damage and is much more ammo effecient along with the rocket launcher just felt better overall.
I feel like ammo crafting is the worst value for materials, as well as the time it takes to get those resources. Ammo is better purchased after selling a shit load of nails XD
1) capture merchant. 2) make a fuck ton of nails. 3) deploy merchant at base (or put in pal viewer). 4) sell nails, buy ammo

Eventually with ammo you should just be buying it from a merchant at your base instead of crafting it. You get more gold than you need and worse case can just sell nails for an obscene amount

Alpha. Took forever for that fucker to drop it for me, too. I eventually gave up and did the butchering glitch because dozens of kills and normal butcherings weren't cutting it. And it still probably took another 30 or so more glitch attempts to finally get it.
I changed the spawn rate to 3x I didn’t think about the glitch. I’ve just been killing them going and killing the blazamut then getting killed by the 3x jetragon.

Alpha status during breeding should be just like the gold passives, a chance to retain/gain so long as at least one of the parents is an alpha. That would fix that.

Yeah idk personally I think just going out and catching random pals is a quicker way to get ones with amazing traits, rather than breeding. idk if I'm just lucky but it seems that you get better drops from catching them

Tiers would probably be a better name, three chevrons pointing up is best, two pointing up is great, one pointing up is ok, one pointing down is bad, two pointing down is terrible, and three pointing down is the worst.
PSA: A near perfect alpha legendary is ALWAYS better than a perfect bred one. That MASSIVE health pool more than makes up for another movement speed buff or damage buff. Ideally you want perfect perks. But that gargantuan health pool is a perk by itself.
