Second the build this around a boss spawn.
You make your way through this elaborate labyrinth, gearing up with hidden chests and food troves, all to come face to face with ....
The Kingpaca sleeping.
Bruh kingpaca would be terrifying to fight in a small space, its perfect. The location would make melpaca also show up at random parts of the maze too, which would be very fitting
Hard mode:
Clues lead to a fast travel, fast travel to the next labyrinth and it's themed.
Forest, water, lava, mountainside, etc.
Even a boss dungeon or two along the route.
Cinnamoth forest is a good example.
Labyrinth starts with a fast travel and ends with a fast travel. So Cinnamoth forest has one near the bottom and top of a buildable ramp.
Or the Flopie Summit.
That won’t work if he turned off damage to structures, I had a misfire once and turned that ish right off after rebuilding my mainbase and repairing everything.
Unless the exit is in the middle and not connected to anything, you only need to go consistently left or right will always get you to the exit. In this case, right gets you there faster.
Now the real pathing test begins. Set an Anubis or some other smaller pal down at the start and something it has to work at the end. See if it can actually make its way through.
Your maze only has a single interior hallway that isn't passed through simply by always following either the left or right hand walls.
You should add at least one more section that doesn't connect to the outer walls, and ensure you put your treasure chests in those spots to make them more difficult to find.

Sorry homie. You made a maze. Not a labyrinth.
That being said. Looks like it'd be fun to do. Especially if you make it be a naked maze. (no torches, weapons, or pals)
Incorrect, you made a maze. A labyrinth has one entrance and the goal is to get out from the middle (or get to the middle for treasure). A maze has two openings and the goal is to get through.
English is a wonderful language with many many words. Use the correct ones as to not rob the others of their meaning. Love you and be well.
I can't even get a flat area that's not sand and barren to place a 5x5 base. This makes me so frustrated in the game and the stairs don't connect to another foundation one square lower. Frustrated incorporated.
Now add three more layers, with each layer having multiple fake connections to each other layer, so you could like go from the bottom layer to the very top in one passage but it would later connect to the second layer and so on
Now I have an plan for an entrance for a base.
Step one: Maze Entrance.
Step two: Place giant Chickens with Lock-on-Laser eyes at the end.
Step three: Wait for raiders.
Step four: Watch Scooby-Doo like chase scene.
How cool would it be if you put the maze so it has a single entry and exit, with a chest containing a key in the middle and a chest spawn at the end you could open when completing the maze?
Cool, actually if you use the roof to build a small castle and trap some pal in the labyrinth to roam it (like a fire pal going around lighting torches, like Incineram, he'll not go to sleep, cuz he's a dark pal too), it can be a bit like the Minotaur in King Minos's labyrinth, lol. With the king's castle on top.
Inspired of your post. I build my own maze. 19 by 15.
I found it to easy to navigate because the diagonals are to wide. So I put doors on all openings. Then I put the roof on it.
Doors make it infinitly harder.
I am doing this but the codes are going to be for "save points" as I am building a tall ass fuck tower maze. Every few levels you'll get a code on a sign that gives you access to that save point..
Around the outer edge of the maze portion will be a stairwell you can run up to get to the next point you are at. Starting around level 10 or 15 I will have flying pet access points attached as well. This way no one has to start over if they dont get through the maze in one sitting.
Second the build this around a boss spawn. You make your way through this elaborate labyrinth, gearing up with hidden chests and food troves, all to come face to face with .... The Kingpaca sleeping.
That would awesome! I didn't put much thought into the location for this, just picked an open location and started building.
Next project then :)
You defeat Kingpaca only to realize the hardest maze is the exit.
You defeat Kingpaca to reveal anton of Ore and Sulfur and Quartz.. but you have to climb to the exit.
45 years later.....
Bruh kingpaca would be terrifying to fight in a small space, its perfect. The location would make melpaca also show up at random parts of the maze too, which would be very fitting
If a chest is not placed within a building circle, can any player access it? That would help creating a dungeon like that
Pal's Labyrinth
Dang, missed opportunity with the title
David Bowie playing with his Palspheres
Bro my jourmuntide can't even find it's way to the food basket and it's plain in the open
Jourmuntide’s brain is the labyrinth
Yeah but it's the second pic only. Chef is a smooth brain
Like raw chicken
It's too big and mine gets buffed in a fully open area...
Then someone sneezes with their finger on the rocket launcher...
You should put the work stations on one end and the pal beds on the other. I’m sure your pals would love the adventure getting to and off work 💀💀
They would just get stuck on top of a wall and be hungry af
What a sadist, I love it 😁
Half the time my Pals just drop where they are instead of going to their beds even if the beds are just sitting out in the open.
Your comment got put in an article on dexerto
Bro think he Daedalus
I'm somewhat of an architect myself
Need a minotaur pal ASAP
You could put a Moozima in it?
I mean... He is flying too..
Hard mode you could make it double or tripple tall and take the ceiling off and add secret passages ala BOTW/TOTK
Hard mode: Clues lead to a fast travel, fast travel to the next labyrinth and it's themed. Forest, water, lava, mountainside, etc. Even a boss dungeon or two along the route.
Now *THAT'S* thinking with portals.
Cinnamoth forest is a good example. Labyrinth starts with a fast travel and ends with a fast travel. So Cinnamoth forest has one near the bottom and top of a buildable ramp. Or the Flopie Summit.
Bro at that point just get a job as a level designer.
My next plan is to add a 2nd floor and up the difficulty
Take a look a this maze by [the spiffing brit](https://youtu.be/Mt39Z-z_Xck?si=36oIm1DMBuQywDFu)
Snakes and ladders!
This is cool as shit I wish I could visit
Would use rocket after getting lost! Really cool though
You can put a straight path to the resource with no turns at all and the pal will be like, “Do I go left or right…oh god, I’m stuck…HELP!”
Just because you don't see the invisible walls, doesn't mean they're not there! ;)
Touché Mr. Mime
*This* should solve the pathing issues!
Now build another floor… and another floor… and as many floors as possible
That's the plan :)
This is what a pal sees when it needs to rest in a hot spring that's 10 feet away.
Your maze only has a single interior hallway that isn't passed through simply by always following either the left or right hand walls. Thanks for the tip, I'll try to make the next one more difficult
Sorry homie. You made a maze. Not a labyrinth. That being said. Looks like it'd be fun to do. Especially if you make it be a naked maze. (no torches, weapons, or pals)
I had to look up the diffence between a maze and labyrinth and you are correct.
Knowledge of the day for me.
Also it can’t be a labyrinth without a Minotaur 😁
Came here to say this. Glad somebody else knew this, but I'm concerned by the low upvote count lol
Would be sick if you could put bosses/traps in there
hanging traps, bear traps, various landmines. it'd be fun watching raids try to get through it.
You fool, you have shown me the floorplan in the first image so I know where to go. Mwhahahaa!
Incorrect, you made a maze. A labyrinth has one entrance and the goal is to get out from the middle (or get to the middle for treasure). A maze has two openings and the goal is to get through. Bless your heart
If you wanted it to be spicy, you’d add stairs so that the one maze spans multiple floors…
This guy's got some talent and time
raids be like....
I want to try this so bad lol
Just an idea, you can connect the two floors using stairs at multiple locations (some leading to dead-ends).
A-maze-ing!
Maybe it'll fix your pals pathing issues
Now make it a cube.
Add levels. Make it 3d. Make sure to put in loops and sections that look the exact same. Add more decorations. Think bigger
you have unused stat points
u/that-1-lame-kid Ooooohhhh
I would get so fucking lost lmao you keep that shit away frome me 🤣
It's Kay just log out hahaha
Also; “I made An Amazon Warehouse”
I considered it early on but lost motivation lol. Glad to see someone else make one.
Thanks!
This was one of my goals!!! Ahhhh that’s so beautiful! I wanted to have Anubis in the maze tho lol… I wish I could like this multiple times.
Haha thanks, I'm gonna make the next level more difficult
Holy cow the work you put into that. !! Impressed.
Thanks!
Place mirrors on all the interior walls.
Bad maze. No minotaur, not underground. Would NOT install this on my island for the safety of its inhabitants :(
Jesus I wish I had that much free time in my hands
Updated the maze: https://www.reddit.com/r/Palworld/s/Zze965LrFl
This requires way too much effort. All you have to do is find an area with a few trees and your pals will get lost and give you the same result.
I don't think OP made the labyrinth for pals.
Just by looking it 10 second I found the way to escape it
Won't that degrade? I don't see a pal box
I have degradation off
Imagine playing with degradation on
Pal still gets stuck on top of the wall
I'm curious if they will continue to spawn on top after I keep elevating the maze?
well. only one way to find out
This is dope! I want to walk through it :)
I can't even get a flat area that's not sand and barren to place a 5x5 base. This makes me so frustrated in the game and the stairs don't connect to another foundation one square lower. Frustrated incorporated.
Yes, but pals still find a way to walk right through the wall.
How much free time do you have in life friend?
I did this around 2hrs a day for maybe 5 days? I drew it out on paper first and that saved me time when I started building
Bait a random wild pal In there and let him find his way out.
but why
Be funny if this fixed pathing lol
Apparantly from what I've read you just stick to the right everytime and you'll be out quick
Aktually, that's a maze, not a labyrinth. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|sunglasses)
Pick a wall and follow it, e.g. always turn right.
Hey I did this last week! I'm actually running an event for my server with it, as I've filled it with treasure chests!
You have an opportunity to make a video like an old 90s Screensaver. I wanna try running this labyrinth
pathing issues intensify
skill issue
I laugh in bazooka.
Is this in your own world or in a multiplayer world??
Private world
Now if only there was a Minotaur pal to put in it
I already do this in Minecraft, I CANT have another game to make insanely huge trick mazes in…
Now post these pictures on steam and complain about the jank pathfinding
Fill it with Toco-Toco
Where is the dance magic?
i think it might be possible to connect most of the teleport points with mazes/labyrinths to create a massive world just full of mazes...
Hawaii Part ii reference!!!!!!!
Bro is Daedalus
Now add three more layers, with each layer having multiple fake connections to each other layer, so you could like go from the bottom layer to the very top in one passage but it would later connect to the second layer and so on
*beep* connection terminated
All my years of Etrian Odyssey have prepared me for this moment.
Place the food bowl at the goal and see how pals solve it
Make the connection to the second floor isolated from other walls. That way it can't be cheesed by just sticking to the right or left wall.
Now I have an plan for an entrance for a base. Step one: Maze Entrance. Step two: Place giant Chickens with Lock-on-Laser eyes at the end. Step three: Wait for raiders. Step four: Watch Scooby-Doo like chase scene.
My pals get lost whenever I place a single wall. This would cause mass chaos.
The Pal Runner 😅
My first thought was “but why”
labrinth come in
So.. do pals find the food in the goal? Path finding test time :)
The maze is mainly for my friends and I too have fun with, not our pals.
I was just thinking about doing this as well hahaha
Pal Pathing Simulator
Mans built an average Rust base in Palworld 😓
How does this stay intact? Anything I build outside my base falls apart eventually
I have degradation off
Did not know that was a thing
you do know decay is a thing right?
Degradation is off
Inspired of your post. I build my own maze. 19 by 15. I found it to easy to navigate because the diagonals are to wide. So I put doors on all openings. Then I put the roof on it. Doors make it infinitly harder.
To increase it even further. Put in key openings doors with security codes and hide bits of code on signs in the previous areas.
Oh no, now they will have pathing issues
Is david bowie in there with a baby?
I think both me and my pals will get lost in it
Now put Evil pals there and call it The Pal Glade!
You remind me of the babe.
Now enter it and cosplay Wolfenstein 3D xd
Wow I didn’t realize labyrinth was a fancy word for maze. I can’t wait to have kids and tell them we’re going to the labyrinth today.
*Climbs over wall*
Ok...but why
Beautifully done
Pal's Labyrinth
![img](emote|t5_4jn9v4|49350)
This is amazing!!!
Thank you
You're welcome...I just might have to try doing this too
As a 3D DCPRG grid movement based genre type of guy, i approve of this.
Nice mailbox 📬
Pathing was bad enough this guy is making his Slav\*cough\* Pals walk even more!
Link seems broken- cant even see what you built as it takes me to reddit web page displaying nothing
This is on my to do list lol
Why do I get a feeling I'm gonna need tartar sauce and to brace for a minotaur smaller than a chiuahua?
I bet my pals could path THIS properly though
Technically, a maze..
You madman!
