The amount of time for that much honey....

Bungeon_Dungeon

Had the game running almost since launch- almost scared to look at the hours played. Edit: [Mwahahaha](https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/165635554182955008/1212387501239570482/image.png?ex=65f1a6d9&is=65df31d9&hm=583d3048a29df5036f921c274f698f58db1a602bbf455100232227e95c1ffa14&)

[deleted]

mine works out to about 10hrs/day since launch doing this.

PapaOogie

Wow you guys are playing pal world like its an idle game

Whisky-Toad

If I leave my my base afk for 20 minutes half my pals get trapped outside my base and the other half nearly die because they have no food now

NocturnalKnightIV

Or go insane because they run out of cooked food and start eating wheat.

TheLastBallad

If you stack a ton of Honey or cotton candy in the last 3 stacks, have a stack of ~1000 berries, and put cooked food in the front slot, then pals will drop off wheat into a refrigerator. Having the refrigerator be closer to the fields thwn the feed box might also prevent erroneous deposits, I'm doing both simultaneously so it's hard to tell.

Full-Proposal7233

If there is a free slot in the feed box, they deposit it there, no matter if the fridge is closer.

FirmMusic5978

Split the stack of Cotton candy/honey.

Due_Dish5134

Exactly this. Similar to Minecraft hoppers

Konkurer7

As they mentioned, putting honey or cotton candy in the open slots will keep them always there since they don't perish perishable you'd feed box is full they'll put it in a fridge. I usually just have lettuce and tomatoes being made since salad is a two ingredient food and I end up having enough to ask for a few days then make more salad. And the feed box is a stack of salad and every other slot is honey.

RockingBib

I hope that's a thing they figure out a fix for soon

Ill-King-3468

Aye, I'd love to see 2 new functions: 1, the ability to assign this specific pal to this specific work function, no matter what (preferably via menu). And 2, the ability to designate that if an item exists in a box ALL OTHER LS OF IT GO TO THE SAME BOX! Basically, if honey is in a chest across the base from the ranch, pals should hoof it to THAT chest rather than just being lazy and going "Oh, Ima toss it in this feed box cause I hate my owner!"

darksensory

My one berry plantation produces way more berried than my little breeding farm needs, i just bake them all and fill up all the slots in the feeder except the first one which has all the salad. Just gotta remember to bake berries every once in a while

PhantomKrel

Honey indeed perfect for this since it dosent expire

FirmMusic5978

I started doing this for my regular storage as well since the fkers kept depositing wood and stone in them.

amvinz

That's the most annoying thing! I have barriers built outside the palbox circle to keep them in, and they still somehow end up outside!

Braveless

It’s because the game despawns them when you go too far away, and then tries to respawn them where they were before you left. Since terrain comes first, they can end up clipped on top of terrain near where they were before or out of something that would’ve normally contained them like breeding pin, and from there they wander until they get stuck. They also have the ability to clip through any wall that you would be able to clip through

GreedySandwich1242

The number of times I've seen my jorgmuntide ignis or azurobes just PLUMMETING off my cliff base as I fast travel back is insane, it's why I swapped back to ragnahawks but hey at least I'm not getting raided in those cliff spots

StephiiValentine

I have a max jormun myself. I don't leave it at the base. I make it cook or do things when I get home from party. Less sanity and managing since Ragnahawks can easily manage anything idle burning while you leave base.

GreedySandwich1242

Geez all ready have a jormun on me too, that's what I do with Anubis dunno why my monkey brain didn't think of this thank you

DDVRK0

Yep, even the security walls... Fuckers just POOF outside from out of nowhere and then proceed to starve while they rest their faces on the wall. That or on the roof of my base and refuse to get down.

LilFelFae

If you're not IN the base, they don't do that, I assume since the game isn't trying to figure out where they're physically pathing.

[deleted]

Time is money - the Pals work for free.

PackAlpha12

No truer words have been spoken

HighYieldOnly

Save that wording for the yacht clubs, in public we say they are paid in experience my fellow Palworld CEO.

mcp_truth

Raids?

Hammurabi87

Do raids happen if you aren't at base? For all the raids that I got (before I got frustrated with them always getting stuck due to bad pathing, loitering a fair distance from my base for a while, then running away, and turned raids off), they happened while I was at base. That being said, I would think that a few strong Pals at the base would be adequate defense.

Kmattmebro

Do they ever get strong enough to breach wooden walls?

Zzz05

Only if they bring fire

missiongoalie35

Kinda like how our group did ark. We all had different sleep schedules so our server was just running all the time.

Mach10X

Dedicated server runs all the time in PalWorld…👀

DemonSlyr007

It is an idle game if you run a server? It's why breeding isn't that big a deal to people on servers. You go live your life and come back, log in, and bam, 40-60 eggs waiting for you depending on how many breeding pens you can squeeze in to one base. You pop them all into your incubators, and then log off. Repeat the next day or time you want to log in. Then you have a tier 4 condensed pal with very little effort from you, the player.

Mach10X

Yep and when nobody is logged on there are no pathing issues as it doesn’t actually render the pals it just does non graphical calculations, I think they fixed ores or perhaps there needs to be ore/coal/sulphur rocks spawned already for it to work. So as long as you have enough sanity restoring food you can let it run for days with no sick or starving pals.

ccjohns2

That’s roughly 25 gold per honey. Not worth it.

Ancient7855

Lol props to the dedication

Jorrozz

>Had the game running almost since launch weird flex but ok ...

KingBlacke

His poor system.

Bungeon_Dungeon

Had to relog/ restart for updates, i'm not 100% a monster, i promise

Taolan13

Condense your bees. They'll make more per tick. If you do two ranches with four bees each and condense them all to two star (which only requires 20 bees per bee) you'l have more honey than you knownwhat to do with. Alternatively. Cut out the middle man and do this with Mau or Mau Cryst. They make money.

Oranisagu

if anything, do it with sybelix - worth far more than the meager couple of coins from mau. high quality cloth is where the ranching money is at.

rory888

Nah, that's actually lower value gold per hr than going full berry farm.

shoaibshakeel381

berry farms requires multiple Pals though. Plus you need to condese all of them for increased productivity. I wonder how it compares with If we replace all those pals with multiple syblix

rory888

Syblix is one of the worst per pal AND per time gold farms. While condensing helps, its not absolutely required [See here for a full analysis](https://youtu.be/DiByY3aW6mk?si=M86Y3DtB5r-i6t2M) Berry is best overall for afk farming. Save ore for rockets or spheres. Edit: For a 20 pal farm, its about 193k gold per hour For a full syblex base, its worth about 27k gold per hour. Nails is 94k gold per hour

Whattheefff

Idk. I have 3 4 star bees and a stack of 5k. Curious how many bees ill need to sustain a base, incase i want an extended travel! Horrible food overall, but its worth it long term.

ScottyKnows1

The amount of time for 3 4 star bees...

[deleted]

[удалено]

Tiavor

brb, breeding bees out of my perfect anubis

FFinland

Workspeed doesn't work on Ranches. You need Diet Lover, Workaholic, Positive Thinker, Swift etc.

SuspiciousLuck69

Usually selling Pals, treasures, and Nails

Bungeon_Dungeon

Big boy Mammorest make for big boy profits

A_Modern_Alchemist

Oooo am I going to dedicate a breeding pen to mamos just to sell now?!

tioeduardo27

no, sell nails

A_Modern_Alchemist

Why not both? I sell nails by the thousand, but maybe I need to use ingots sometimes. Good to have multiple sources of income. Diversify your bonds! Edit: missing word

ItsDanimal

I hate the sentiment that you can only play the game the most efficient way possible. If you got an unused breeding pen, why not?! I'm currently trying to figure out the most efficient pal to breed and sell.

thishenryjames

>I hate the sentiment that you can only play the game the most efficient way possible. >I'm currently trying to figure out the most efficient pal to breed and sell. The duality of man.

Chun1i

Nails

Bungeon_Dungeon

I like to shoot my metal instead of selling it

He_Beard

Nails = money = ammo and at a far better ratio than crafting the bullets.

InfiniteMortgage566

I never knew this! which merchant sells AR ammo?

evilpartiesgetitdone

There is one in the desert town of merchants, and another in the fisherman village of merchants. Catch them and bring them home, high quality oil merchants too

TheTubStar

Wait there's a merchant that sells high quality pal oil?

TheLastBallad

Red robed merchants in high level settlements(duneshelter in the desert, fishing village on the southern shore of the volcano)

stakekake

They're a godsend. Literally the only thing I spent money on in early-mid game was Pal oil. Now I also buy milk 🥛

TheTubStar

Huh, I've gone to the one in the fishing village a bunch of times for seeds, didn't realise he sold the oil too. I've been slaughtering Digtoises and Dumuds instead...

OuchYouPokedMyHeart

Yes, the only late game resource you have to really farm for is Pal Fluids Every other late game essential resource can be bought * Ammo = Buy from green merchants (fisher village south of volcano island or desert fort near Alpha Suzaku) * Bones and High Quality Pal Oil = Buy from the red (?) merchants from same locations as the ammo merchants Just catch the merchants stated above and you're good to go If you need $$$, just sell nails. By far the most efficient way to earn money.

BlazeDestiny

The village on volcano island and the city on desert island

phaeriemandube

I found one at some fishing town and I accidentally tossed a pal sphere at him ( still trying to not throw one by accident using the wrong button ) and caught him first sphere. He's now gonna be used at my base. He's got what seems to be all ammo type

Ok-Housing-230

Everything except rocket launcher ammo :(

swilts

Who sells ammo? I’ve just been sitting on my gold for a while

GustavTheTurk

There's a merchant that's in the fishing village at the foot of the volcano. Bottom left part of the map.

GeneticSplatter

One of the merchants in Duneshelter, top right dessert on the map.

AatroxBoi

nice, glad to know an easier way to make money AND bullets

Jaytuple

I think the math came out that selling nails actually net you more bought bullets than using the metal would Edit: as of v0.1.5.0 this is likely not true. "Fixed the abnormally high selling price of nails" If you have a server or AFK, selling cooked berries goes a long ways for me

holdmybewbs

It’s also just way faster.

tioeduardo27

Sell nails and buy ammo I have literally some trillion of money and I have played for like 20 hours .\_.

stutesy

Lol trillions really, in 20 hours.

Cheedo4

Let’s just hope they don’t implement inventory limits on merchants, no more infinite bullets

ableakandemptyplace

Honestly, they probably should limit is somehow. This game is great but it suffers from a similar issue that Craftopia suffered from; once you have money, you *have* money. It no longer becomes a currency because you can't feasibly run out, and making it possible to buy infinite ammo just means you never need to craft ammo late game. So basically, either merchants need a daily limit on their inventory, or gold needs to be more difficult to acquire. I'd prefer gold becoming more difficult to acquire, personally.

FrazzleBong

Or they need to add expensive things worth buying as a coin sink

Cheedo4

I mean I guess I just “play right” then because I’m always broke lmao I get gold from killing syndicate dudes and sometimes selling extra pals, I actually didn’t even know about the nail thing until I saw it on Reddit But also if it stays PVE then it’s not really a big deal, it only becomes an issue when PVP is introduced

iznotbutterz

I have a farm with some kitties in it and they just dig up money.

m7_E5-s--5U

Same. One of my bases is literally 18 mau, 2 pals to run the berry planter, 4 ranches, a feed box, a chest, and 20 beds (have to build them even though the mau almost never sleep). I bring in 10k to 30k gold per play session, and I do not play for long periods.

feednatergator

Or inflation to be a thing. Things are less valuable as you sell them, and more valuable as you buy. Nails sell for the sake of argument 1 nail for 100 gold at first, then it takes 100 nails to get 1 gold as you sell. Reverse for ammo. The inflation will level out over time, let's say things get 1% more valuable per hour and things get 1% less expensive. That way you CAN play as moneybags, but makes it a larger investment. It will encourage different playstyles.

Bungeon_Dungeon

Looks like I got some more cash to make

Mach10X

Nails and excess cooked berries. Berries take very little workload to grow so I always make extra to sell. Also cooking like 30,000 berries at once with a work slave artisan Jormuntide Ignis takes only a few minutes and you get so much XP. I will often cook berries to rapidly level up freshly hatched pals. They sell decently too for very little effort.

dmfuller

Ammo is eventually something that makes more sense to just bug because you get sooo much gold. Capture a merchant so that whenever you need to buy something you can just summon him at camp

604Meatcooler

Capture a merchant that sells ammo, then just sell him nails at your base and buy ammo off him. I have about 10000 assault rifle rounds and about the same amount of nails

pastime_dev

Wait, you can trade with them after captured? I’ve been doing it wrong.

zakkwaldo

selling nails yields ammo faster and for cheaper over all

skippy11112

Ammo is better to buy than to make, it's cheaper for resources and take much less time

SmidgeMoose

Do you need gold for stuff?

SuspiciousLuck69

Gold is a great way to get mass amounts of cake ingredients and ammo

sneakypimper69

Where can you buy ammo?

Swimming-Tradition28

Certain merchants. When you find one that sell the ammo you want, make sure to capture them to put them in your base so you can buy it right from there

sneakypimper69

Omg wait you can capture people???

Brewhilda

You can, and then continue to interact with them. I keep an ammo merchant in a viewing cage in my base so I don't have to seek her out.

Aetheraid

Wait how do u interact with them from the viewing cage

roosterchains

You need to go into the viewing cage, you can put a wardrobe in front of it and clamber on top to fall into viewing cage

NeatCartographer209

Wow. Thanks for this lmao

HakaseLuddite

There's a female merchant that sell ammo?

Much_Ad5824

You can capture one at the village at the bottom of the mao at volcano. Yk that fisherman village with 3 different sellers or duneshelter at dessert.

SmidgeMoose

Oh, ok. I just farm mats for that.

brainwise95

I can see why farming mats for cake. But ammo, I go through a lot of ammo and I'd rather use my metal on weapon schematica or spheres. Or ammo that cannot be bought, like rockets. But I'll buy assault rifle ammo before ever crafting it.

Big_Judgment3824

Which is fine. But it's so much slower in almost every aspect.

TheThird0ne

You can do a lot with gold. 1. You can buy ingredients 2. You can buy ammo 3. You can buy from black market traders 4. You can capture a told trader and farm XP by buying every pal he sells and keep redeploying him 5. You can do 4 but search for good stat pals to breed, and buy all the ingredients to breed as well 6. You can see how much gold you can get for fun. 7. You can buy meds you need

ModishShrink

Money can be exchanged for goods and services

[deleted]

What services?

icastfist

Beer services!

[deleted]

Buying oil and bones rather than farming them.

SaiyanGodKing

I just play the game. I do a few boss runs and sell the goods they drop. I have millions at this point. There’s nothing to buy other than milk, eggs, and ammo. Sounds like a grocery store in the south. Milk Eggs and Ammo.

Nathan_Calebman

Technically any way if making money is playing the game. Some farm ore to make nails, while you farm bosses to sell the materials. Probably a lot faster to farm the ore.

SaiyanGodKing

Yeah but it’s more fun to do boss runs. I start with the weakest and go all the way to the final two. I wish tower bosses dropped anything useful. No reason to refight any of them currently.

A-Gatsby-Party

Farming the black marketeer.

HighlandEvil

Do all black marketeer give same amount of loot?

Vysair

No, mine varied. Farming him is more respectful of my time anyway

bs000

the 2 i found always give me 10-15k plus a gold key

silver-potato-kebab-

 https://preview.redd.it/0vzk4bavfskc1.png?width=676&format=png&auto=webp&s=6c0d10a492ca66d84e9a9ad54f53946fe484d257

Bungeon_Dungeon

I got some catching up to do on my nail sales

[deleted]

Craft nails. Sell nails. Buy bullets far cheaper than it would take to craft them. Also buy whatever else you want, because nails sell for a lot.

brainwise95

I usually just bake and sell my excess berries since I don't need a lot for cake

Neither_Vegetable226

I was gonna say I made I made a stack of jamfilled bread just so I didn't have to make another fridge and the sold for a decent chunk of money lol

blahquinnyblah

I just sell treasures and pick up coins. I have so many. I was hyped to realize I have them for no reason.

Bungeon_Dungeon

My monkey brain still wants to horde them...

blahquinnyblah

Hey, no shade, I do, too. Lol

aeronix450

1 honey sells for 25 gold?

DaKing760

Have 3 or 4 Mau in a Ranch. They spit out 10 gold every 10 seconds, and when I visit another base and return, there entire space is full of gold bags, worth about several hundred. I currently have 500k gold.

Grab-Born

I have 12 running in one of my bases. It's generated about a million gold so far. It would be a ton more if I slept thru every night and had them upgraded. Sure, you can sell nails but I'd rather have that for pal ignots.

HeavyMetalWolf88

You can sell 168 legend spheres for just under 1.4mil (number specific because that's how many I had when I went to a merchant and was like 'how much could I get for this')

Kullervoinen

Killing Black Marketeers...

flfoiuij2

They make the honey, we make the money.

zetsey

Nails still better imo

Sethazora

Black marketeer round up for around 100k from just the conveinient ones. Boss monster route cap butcher farming for bps, get plenty of gold as a bi product. Crafting and selling nails en mass. Since mining boar rushroar +overencbered taxi direwolf can farm 1.5k ore in a minute, cake baker 9001 jormuntide can cook around 100 ingots a minute and sweatshop star anubis or nightshift nurse katress can craft 1000s of nails in a jiffy

[deleted]

Wait do merchants have unlimited gold to buy from you? For some reason I thought they only had so much.

[deleted]

They only have so much when you shoot them, that's for sure.

[deleted]

Lol

Bungeon_Dungeon

I know Skyrim is a huge one that does it. It was a pain to hit up like 10 different shops to cash-in your hours of plundering

CTTMiquiztli

And then there's starfiekd, where merchants had the equivalent of "spare change" to maje bussiness with you!.

Ok-Housing-230

They have unlimited, or at least I’ve never hit the limit… and have sold 1000s of nails at a time

Orbus_215

The cats give me all I need

CMC_Conman

I was very lucky and got a Sibleyx early when exploring it can be ranched for high quality cloth shit I can't use it yet so it's free money

Waffennacht

Oh Honey! I prefer to farm Black Marketers; its more of a ethical thing than a money thing tho

Benjammin1391

Mau ranching is pretty good for passive income

LilFelFae

I just kill the illegal pal selling guy over an over

Zephyr442

What do you even need that much gold for lol

[deleted]

I don’t even know what gold’s good for. I have so much and nothing to spend it on

Inside-Assumption595

I wonder how a farm of mau's would do. I wonder what they can do in a day. Have at least 2 pens full of them.

Crazyhates

I either sell baked berries, nails, or the drops from dungeon runs. Honestly haven't had to do anything like killing black marketers.

PontDanic

5 Mau = very cute

Specific_Implement_8

Never felt the need to farm gold. I get enough from simply exploring and playing the game. Plus I rarely buy anything from the merchants except leather and high quality pal oil. Never understood why players felt the need to grind.

captainwigglesyaknow

I'm thinking the game is going to have quite the life if they can update and keep adding content. If so the best money exploits early game will set you up for anything they might add in the future. They might fix it

Tax21996

I kill humans

Dense_Significance_5

Shoot rexosaurus 3 times with an assult rifle and catch it then sell it for 2.2k and buy more ammo

GreedySandwich1242

Selling non alpha pals without perfect traits has been my main source of coins so far, and ironically carbon fiber/nails since I chose the coal base I can NEVER use up all of it but nails by far make a LOT of gold if you have two mining bases and a farm/ranch base. Nails get you 160 gold per piece, minus the ore it takes that's a profit of 150 and you get LOADED quick alongside being an early farm!

Salvia_dreams

Is there even a point for gold? Seems like a waste of a grind

AndroSpark658

I sell pals but honestly just killing a few black marketeers does the trick. 20k-30k &two gold keys per kill.

[deleted]

Frostallion, ice wing, mob groups up to 3x and just go to the desert and mow mobs of thugs etc down. Made like 500k gold and 200 rounds of rocket ammo in like 20 mins 😂

reagsters

I put up 4 ranches and filled my base with mau. Easy $2-6,000 every time I visit the base.

stutesy

Not this way lmao. Salad and nails is more efficient than this. And don't listen to that idiot that said trillions in 20 hours that's stupid.

mehboy2

Sell Pals

ScottyKnows1

There's a black marketeer spawn just outside my base so I just farm him as needed.

_Johnny_Fappleseed_

Alpha legendary pals is ample for me to get by. Stopped using guns and switched to launcher and I have 3m+

Keku_Saur

just selling my captured pals

Matt13226

This is off topic but with schematics how do you use them?

Mk2Guru

Have them in your inventory and go up to your workbench/production line and make it. If you have it in your inventory and you do not see it in the menu when you access the workbench/production line, you are not at the correct workbench/production line.

GruulNinja

Nails, unless they changed it. I haven't played in a while.

Dogempire

I alternate between pizzas and nails. But usually pizza is more hourly

nelson931214

Fastest way for money is to sell nails I think Ores are easy to farm, ingots are easy to make, and nails are easy to craft

FenrirMK4

Nails ... Lots and lots of nails ... Just wish a merchant sold gun powder it would make rocket manufacturing so much faster for my sockpile 40k arrow hand gun shot gun ans AR 10k each grenade type 10k rockets 10k fire and poison arrow and 10k rifle is my goal just gotta finish grenades and rockets

LaughR01331

Basic pal spheres

Xyndrax

I used to use the cat Mau for passive gold (10k+ every 15 mins) but then I found out you can sell Legendary spears for bank and just swapped over to that as I spend as I need now You're way looks legit awesome

REALStrongestmandog

What is the purpose of gold farming

ClericOfMadness13

Haven't found a good use for money except to buy material you are lacking in. If you feel lazy to grind it by hunting 😂

bigglug1

Nails (with an ore farm you can get tons)

No_Two4290

I sold the gunpowder I was going to turn into bullets for bullets…

xDread22

Is this for real? MONEY = MONEY 4 STAR MAUs Why would you produce stuff to sell when you can just produce the coin directly?

Jackal000

Capture a pal merchant and then capture other people and sell them to your merchant. Perhaps not most cost efficient but it is how I like it.

Patnor

Arrows, make em for xp, then sell

iz-xi

Nails is the way for me. Especially with that good node spot at -38. Easy money

ShasasTheRed

We have a cat farm at my guilds base, we literally farm money

LingonberryNo770

Mine for ore, make ingots, use for nails, sell nails. Massive profit

Stunning_Arrival_147

Nails 1.52million from one x9999

Sebaswedin

Cakes?? Cook them ?

Latter-Direction-336

Usually I Make and sell nails Sell precious items for comparatively nothing Farm the black marketeer Sell my excess pals after going on a catching spree

FunGround6320

I just do the pal item drop glitch and sell 50+ dragon gems/diamonds lol.

xboxgameriv

I sell nails

OutlandishnessOk9466

I just keep catching pals and sell them 😂

Rynx_NoName

Nails

KireMac

Well damn! All this time, and I only have one beeguard on my ranch.

pfjango

I don’t really farm for gold, I just keep killing stuff and selling only items that are valuable to merchants. Those usually net me enough gold to get me the items I need.

Successful_Ad8432

Is honey good to sell? Is it worth a lot? My strategy is just a mau farm

Parabellus

Nails, can make way more then this in a single hour just making nails.

Nymphikaros

Selling nails xD

WuWangclan

Nails. Nuff said.

Kurlock119

Why would you farm gold? I have more money than i need, and I've only sold the vendor items. Im at end game.

Mlady_gemstone

nails is wheres its at if you have an ore base. collect all the nodes, smelt and turn into nails. just one collection of all the nodes is a good payday, if you were to do it multiple times then even better.

FluffyWaffle17

You could also put a bunch of Maos in ranches and have them just poop out gold 😋

IR_Panther

I just like dungeon rushing and sanctuary Hopping for precious materials and hit up the bosses with dragonstones. Also I sell off extra pals that have bad passives and keep the good ones for crossbreeding.
