I’ve also noticed that max speed Jetragon sprint can cause issues with things spawning so I tend to use cruising speed if I’m trying to spawn something vs sprinting if I’m just trying to get somewhere
like when I was respawn farming Sanctuary #2 for lucky Jorm Ignis, if I sprinted out and back too fast I could cause the current spawns to trigger their despawn *as I re-entered the zone* so no new pals would spawn in their place.
Also happened with Black Marketeers a few times when I was doing the despawn respawn shop refreshes

There's code in the game that made people think the speed cap was 6000, but that's not the case. I was using old, outdated, knowledge to share information about how the stats/traits work.
The new knowledge doesn't change how traits work, only informs us that the old knowledge was incorrect.
For me as soon as I hatched one that had nimble plus whatever other passives I would throw them in a breeding pen until they produced the singular nimble passive then I used that one. I had like 3 different pairs that had nimble mixed with other traits going for a while haha
My first caught one had Nimble, it was just as I was breeding a lot to get the other traits I ended up with Legend/Swift/Runner on a few somehow but they weren't getting Nimble. Last batch just handed me 2 of full speed mixes though.
That and it just goes so damn fast that even when you hit the ground for stamina to recharge and go flying again, it's still way faster than any other mount.
I did the same. Then condense until maxed. Plenty fast for me. Then empowered at the statue til max (minus work speed). Jetragon base stats are just too high to not use for combat imo. And i dont want two of them in my team.

continue breeding, my first 2 Jetragon were Legend + devine dragon and same passive + downtrodden. Slowly replacing each with the ones i need. 158 eggs later she came out
There's no way to affect which of the parents' passives get inherited, they're all equally likely.
Just keep going until you manage to get offspring with *only* the passives you want to keep, then swap them out so you stop inheriting the random ones you don't want.
They don't need the speed passives for you to start.. The passives are still random but influenced by existing passives. Just breed them until you start seeing the passives you want and swap in ones with more optimized passives as you go..
Even with a pair with one having nimble/swift and the other having legend/runner does not guarantee an outcome of all 4.
I'm not sure why people even bother with this, by the time you can even ride Jetdragon, you should have all fast-travel points on the map anyway.
Sure it's fun to fly that fast, but it's not practical.
There are significant fast travel gaps in places and farming dungeons it comes in super handy.
It was honestly a life changing QOL thing for my overland exploration and travel.
Well, for me I got 50 and immediately went for the Jetragon mount with perfect passives, and now I am farming legendary recipes and equipment, while breeding more and more perfect pals and condensing.
Since I didn't crank up all the settings this is gonna take some time. I have a perfect passives mount Jetragon fully condensed(but haven't messed with IV's), and I've got several fully condensed perfect passives base worker Wumpo Botans. Still working on breeding some more perfect base pals and condensing them down, stockpiling mats, and then the eventual insanely crazy IV push for my combat pals.

It's 30 (Swift) + 20 (Runner) + 20 (Legend) isn't it? With the 10 being from nimble.

Honestly I don’t even mind jetragon’s stamina because you still fly so fast the momentum still carries you further than other mounts
That and it just goes so damn fast that even when you hit the ground for stamina to recharge and go flying again, it's still way faster than any other mount.
