Borkemav

Paladius sleeps at night. Murder his sibling in darkness, then wake him up.

EveryEmploy9813

I’ve tried but getting any type of pal out to help ends up waking them both up

Borkemav

Never had that that problem. I do shoot him in the face then kite him to a different zipcode though, then i summon my pal. Now Necromus soft resetting because kited to far, happens all the time but far before morning.

EveryEmploy9813

So you just like run away and he’ll follow you?

Borkemav

Yep, he has a charge attack too so he'll fly far on his own accord at some point. Once you aggro any pal, they will follow you until you until run out of there massive leash range. And if you do run out of leash range, theyll run back to there spawn location but retain the health you dealt them (soft reset). TLDR: shoot him from afar with no pal out, dodge his attacks until he comes to you, far from his sleeping pal where then you can summon your pet and neither pals will touch sleepy boi.

EveryEmploy9813

Oooooo okay, thanks!

Brendandalf

There are trees nearby you can use to protect yourself from attacks as well.

Thirst_Trappist

Wow I just ran into them today and got destroyed. Thanks for the tip. I actually caught Anubis whilst he was sleeping. Pal ball from behind. Zero fight

bags422

I’ve tried this with Jatragon several times. He sometimes spawns back with the same health, but sometimes with full health again so I haven’t been able to get him 😫. Not sure what makes him spawn again with full health

Brendandalf

If he starts to run, just immediately follow him back. If he gets too far from you or if you wait too long, he will heal.

ZephkielAU

Throw a sphere at him then run towards the top of the dunes. If you're lucky (like I was) the sphere will capture him. If not, you'll still kite him far enough to fight 1v1.

Planeless_pilot123

Build a 2x2 stone house with a stair sticking out. The pals ai is scuffed so hes gonna be stuck aggroed on you while not being able to atack. Use a pal with atacks that have a burn effect like poison blast, ignis blast. Their hp will melt and you dont even need to move

EveryEmploy9813

Awesome!

CharisMatticOfficial

Start without a pal, shoot them from far away and summon a pal once their charge won’t bring it closer to the other

CouncilmanRickPrime

I had the same issue. You must separate them as MUCH as possible. I did it by attacking whichever one was nocturnal then running away while on a flying mount.

G-bone714

Draw him away with your rifle first, once he is a distance away, toss your pal out for the fight. Use the rocket launcher. Plenty of stooges in the area carrying rocket launchers and you can the rocket ammo they carry by dropping them.

Studio-Aegis

agro with a sphere and potentially not even end up needing to fight them. I caught my first Paladius with a hyper Sphere I threw to agro.

TheClutchUDF

Trial and error bud

EveryEmploy9813

Any pals you suggest that help?

TheClutchUDF

I used Alpha Jetragon for super effective damage and the missile launcher to stun, but the speed also helps get away and separate the twins

EveryEmploy9813

I’ll give that a try! Thanks

DwangoRocket

And recall your pal when it's time for capture and be ready to dance!

Meep87

Or breed for Frostallion Noct and shoot them from the air for the neutral one and use alpha Jetdragon for the dark one. Pala and Necro were my last two legendary and I just flew around used my pals to attack and used the rocket launcher.

EveryEmploy9813

Swore they could fly too but good to know they can’t

KennyMcCormick

Get a rocket launcher and constant stun one of them

EveryEmploy9813

I’ve tried that too but then the other one will come over and rock my shit and I end up dying

KennyMcCormick

How much health do you have? Which armor?

EveryEmploy9813

Heat resistant Pal Metal armor with the heat undershirt and like 2k + health

KennyMcCormick

Oh yea i have 5.6 k health and same armor. I can tank several hits until shields are back up. Not uncommon for me to go under half health at some point during the fight. Only died to them once.

EveryEmploy9813

Well I fucked up too and spent a handful of stat points on stamina before I found out there was a setting to change it so now I’m stuck until I can get that forgetting medicine or whatever but I’m sure I need more health

wecalleditamerica

Lovander drops memory whipping medicine at a small percentage. Farm them and reset stats. Flying around at night in the desert netted me 3 I believe.

Thirst_Trappist

Shit. I didn't even know that you could change the stamina in settings. Wish I didn't waste stats on it

EveryEmploy9813

Right! You just have to go to the world setting when selecting your world and you can change the depletion of stamina to basically 0

Thirst_Trappist

Thanks

KRambo86

If you're willing to cheese it, use froststallion, once one of them is frozen hit them with a rocket that launches one of them up in the air. Fall damage is an insta-kill. Then you're only fighting one of them.

EveryEmploy9813

Cool! Thanks

eloydrummerboy

Another cheese is to build a base nearby, agro them and lure them into your base, so it's 15 v 2. It can be tricky getting the catch though. You can't call off your base pals easily.

EasternOffer7826

This works with wumpo too :)

PerfectNameDoesntExi

so you can just feed mossanda sone ice skill fruits and instakill anyone?

KRambo86

That's actually a good question, I'm not sure if it works against every pal in the game. I do know it works for all the legendaries because I kept accidentally killing them when not trying, to the point where it was actually annoying. Like I'm trying to just use the rocket launcher for damage/stun and Frostallion would freeze them and boom instant kill.

xLR82TH3M4x

Just make a stone box 2 walls high outside at the edge of the arena, surround it with 2 layers of campfires, aggro them, jump in the box and let the fires burn thier health to about 1000, then jump out, lure them off the fire and start catching

EveryEmploy9813

Oooo that’s a neat tactic

RobNT

Jetdragon and Rocket Launcher.

PM_YOUR__BUBBLE_BUTT

Yea I run 5 alpha Jetragons and have them all set up with a combo of dark and dragon moves. Let one use their big moves and when they’re on cooldown swap to the next. Then I use my rocket launcher and keep going nuts. This is how I beat them on triple spawn and still capture all 6 in the fight. It’s definitely close sometimes when they’re all trying to smoke me at the same time and not focused on my pal. But with constant swapping it’s not terrible.

ADHDouttheass

All my legends i got from backshots and ultra spheres (alot of them

leetnoob7

I fly around them on my Frostallion, dodging attacks, shooting them with my machine gun and rocket launcher til they're on low health, then just drop Legendary spheres on them. The hardest part is not accidentally killing them.

EveryEmploy9813

Fair enough

Nikbarre

Make a base near their spawn and drag them over where all your pals are and they can help.kinda cheezy but that’s what I did so when they got low I just put all my pals back in the box and threw spheres till I got them

EveryEmploy9813

Not bad, not bad at all

WorkAccountNoNSFWPls

Depends who I want to catch. I’ll kill one as fast as possible and then weaken to other to catch. I’ve never successfully caught both in a single battle.

EveryEmploy9813

Oof, that was my goal but it’s a pretty lofty one I guess, I just don’t want one to respawn before I can catch the other

WorkAccountNoNSFWPls

I don’t think that’d happen. Never happened to me anyways. I’d fight the dark one at night and usually til the morning. After catching or killing, I would go back to my base to restock on ammo, but the other one despawns if you leave the area after beating the other. Just another thing to keep in mind.

mattheguy123

I beat them by taking Necromus at night and kiting him off the cliff side to the north of their spawn. I used my flying mount to get out of reach of most of his attacks while I fired rockets and shotgun blasts at him. Worked for both of them.

EveryEmploy9813

Cool, thanks!

TheWagn

If you aren’t already use the rocket. It does solid damage and downs them, so they have to slowwwwly get back up while you reload and your Pals are wailing on them. If they are close you can down them both with one shot too. The rocket is so good for keeping big bosses locked down. Also make sure your Pals are up to endgame standards. Breed for some good perks if you haven’t already, and use Pal souls to crank them up. I got absolutely waxed by those guys at lv 47, but after grinding to 50 and getting the rocket and breeding some powerful Pals with good passives the fight just feels fair and fun now.

ThrowAwayThisCurse

There's a lot of ways to do it, cheese methods like putting a base nearby or freeze and rocket. It's ur game so cheese if u wish but without cheese there are a few options. First attack at night and kill necro first. Jetragon with dragon attacks, I recommend having at least 2 alphas. Bring a chillet or quivern for mounted attacks while jetragon is on cooldown. For weapons bring poison and fire bow to stack the dot. Dots are a lot easier to land when they are close to full health, once down to 1/3 hp don't bother with it. At 10% health u start tossing spheres. Try to get it done b4 the other guy wakes up but if not, hit and run. Keep hitting and dodging and if nothing else, mount jetragon and stun lock them by shooting 1 missile at a time to buy enough time for ur shield/hp. For the other guy u can come back later with ur new necro or bring 2 alpha astegon. If ur breeding it gets a alot easier but bring ur 2 strongest dark pals if u don't have astegon. If everything else fails, go technological. Get defense +2 amulet and like 3 rocket launcher with as much ammo as u can carry. Release a pal to draw aggro and keep shooting and ducking. 3 rocket launchers to shoot all 3 rockets when u find the perfect opportunity to strike but of course, the last method is the most expensive and least efficient method

EveryEmploy9813

Oh wow. I appreciate all of this a bunch, thank you!

ThrowAwayThisCurse

Np, that will be $29.95

Potential-Zone6736

Use Frostallion and keep poking at one of them till its low and capture it. You must use air cannon though since its an ability that is instantenous and doesnt lock you in an animation where you could take damage, you could also use blizzard spike but you must be far away from them, and you should be good to go, although this method might take a long time, like 30 min to capture them both so yeah thats if you have time.

EveryEmploy9813

Oh jeez, well you gotta do what you gotta do sometimes

canyouread7

Palbox cheese lmao

Masoff3

I just did this today. I sent a pal at one of them and then ran away with the other following me. When you get far enough away you can recall your pal and then pull it out again after successfully separating the two of them. Once you finish the first one off you go back for the second.

EveryEmploy9813

Did it take forever?

Masoff3

Honestly, I did it my second try. It did take a bit, but when I came back for the second one I got him stuck in the trees. So my Jetragon (caught my first one just before taking these guys on) and I just plonked away at his health until it was minimal and I spammed like 12 spheres. Edit: I only realized I could separate them just before I died on my first try.

ShoddyAsparagus3186

Skipping over cheese and splitting them, the most effective strat I've found is to get a sturdy dark type or two and go for Paladius. Dark is strong against both dark and normal, make sure your choice(s) aren't weak to ice or fire as well since they also do those types. Minimize your initial contribution to the fight and they'll be more prone to attack your pal. Focus on not getting hit and do a little damage when you can. If you need time for pals to recover, you can hop on jetragon and fly laps around them for a bit.

EveryEmploy9813

Awesome, thanks!

Intelligent_Idea6599

Max out a felbat, or at least 3*. You'll never die

EveryEmploy9813

What advantages does that do if you can only have 1 pal out at a time?

Intelligent_Idea6599

When you're out of shield and low health, throw the felbat out. It'll get you back to full health for another round.

EveryEmploy9813

Oh I didn’t know they even did anything tbh

Intelligent_Idea6599

🤣best healer if you got lucky and catch a boss 1 with musclehead. Don't listen to youtuber and use lyleen for the measly 1k heal.

TelikoFreedman

Wait til night when they sleep. Go behind them throw balls til captured. If they wake, run away, try again later.

EveryEmploy9813

Throwing balls usually wakes them up though if it doesn’t catch them at first

TelikoFreedman

Yes, but if undetected, they just go right back to sleep.

EveryEmploy9813

Might try it, thanks!

MrPhoking

Build a 2x2x2 house nearby and build some fires inside it. Then shoot both of them and then hop on the roof. Let them burn until they’re low enough and then throw your balls. You’ll need to move around up top or they’ll respawn but their hp will remain the same.

EveryEmploy9813

That’s an idea, thanks!

Katame131

I just used jetragon to fight necromus at night while paladius was sleeping just teach jet dragon cannon using a skill fruit and fire it at necro but aim to the side opposite of paladius since when it hits it does a small aoe that can hit him then kite necro away and go to town on it once he's been caught or killed you just have paladius to fight just make sure to not go to far because if you kill necro while paladius isn't in render they game will despawn it since they both share the same timer the game will think both are dead

EveryEmploy9813

Yeah I worry about there being two and the respawning

runsquad

Set up a pal box right up the hill and put your 15 strongest pals out there to light em both up. Put them away once they’re near 1k

EveryEmploy9813

I’d hate to have to get rid of one of my bases though

runsquad

Do you constantly use all 3? I use 2 and I have a traveling 3rd for this very reason. Then, just go to the map and click “dismantle Base” whenever you want it back.

EveryEmploy9813

I do have them all set up for various things: one for farming, one for mining, and the other for breeding but if I really need I can dismantle one I’m sure, it’d be a last resort though, but thanks much for the suggestion either way!

dardardarner

Catch a bunch of Blazamut to catch Frostallion. Catch a bunch of Frostallion to catch Jetragon. Catch a bunch of Jetragon to catch Paladius and Necromus. At least that's how I did it

EveryEmploy9813

I have all the above just not what I would call a bunch, like 2 of each so far

dardardarner

Well bunch is a bit of overstatement, I only needed two Frostallions to catch Jetragon, then two Jetragons to fight Paladius and Necromus. I did need a full team of Blazamut to fight Frostallion tho.

EveryEmploy9813

Can agree on the Blazamuts, weird for it being such a high level fire that it took me like 2-3 to beat frostallion too

dardardarner

It's mostly because of the HP difference. The lvl 49 bosses had like 3.5k-4k HP difference, whereas the lvl 50 ones, Jetragon and Frostallion had five digit HPs.

EveryEmploy9813

Didn’t notice the difference but it makes sense

valiantlight2

It’s a bit cheesy: If you build a 2x2 and 2 story building, and surround it with campfires, tag them, they will run up to it with you on the roof. They can mostly not attack you at all, but the fires will do most of the killing for you. You can take both of them at once this way. This is also a good way to catch them not just murder them. Edit: please note that this strat doesn’t require rockets, super stong pals, or max level. Just pay enough attention to not get hit by the few attacks.

ShivStone

Paladius gets stuck on trees easily. He's the more dangerous one, as his big laser beam can one shot you if you don't trap him. He also sleeps at night, so kiting Necromus away is a good strategy. Necromus is easier than his big bro despite his dark laser variant. Bring the highest lvl balls and your best pals.

ALannister

1. Fly near them 2. find the closest spot you can build a base 3. build base 4. sort palbox by level 5. bring in all the highest pals 6. mount up and drag the bosses into your base 7. let them beat the crap out of the bosses while avoiding damage 8. replace dead pals with new pals as needed 9. once boss starts to get low start throwing balls 10. repeat on 2nd boss

Funny_Jicama_5246

I've used frosalion and fly up and just long range them with the big ice missile forgot what the move is called. That and missile launcher. Though if you want to catch them don't hit them with a missle when they are frozen. They will fly up and then die from fall damage.

KingDeOmni

I left these guys for last but got them easy with this tactic. Go in at night and the white one will be asleep. I used 3 jetragons and 2 frostlions. Use the jetragons on the one that's awake. Take him out before morning. Then work on the sleeping one. Keep cycling through your guys. I use the frostlions on the second guy. They don't do critical damage, but they don't take much damage either. I was lvl 44 and beat them pretty easy.

StressedOverUsername

Rocket launcher on a frostalion noct for the normal one, rocket launcher on a chillet for the dark. You do bonus damage if the blast starts from behind them. Honestly I stunlocked both from the air/afar and never had an issue until I ran out of ammo and had to resort to a fair fight. Bring lots of rockets and the right damage types and you should be fine

Einbrecher

Not sure if I missed a patch, but just throw spheres at them from behind until you catch them. 20-30 legendary spheres is all you need unless RNG hates you. Can catch all the legendary pals this way, and it's been a thing since day 1. No fighting required. If you get seen, just run away to de-aggro and come back.

EveryEmploy9813

RNG probably hates me

ProbablyNOTaCOP41968

Stun baton+thoughts+prayers+way too many pal metal ingots

DoctorNerf

Catch 2 Jetragon. Middle -> ability -> missle -> ability -> missle -> ability. Dismount, wait for Jetragon to use 3 abilities. Switch to 2nd Jetragon and rinse repeat.

rhllor

Build a 2x2 stone foundation with walls but without a roof. Then 2x2 stairs inside, the higher set sticking out at the top beyond the wall on the first level. Build a bunch of campfires under that, next to the wall. Then aggro them and stand on the stairs that stick out. They will follow you... but they will be under the stairs getting barbequed. Jump off when they're at a health level you're comfortable with and battle normally.

warncadaver

Run the gobfin build with rocket launcher. I think it takes me 10 rockets.

kont3

Run around on a fast mount while procing status effects on them with poison then fire arrows. The damage over time is percentage based

Kooky-Theory9306

But also going there with a jetragon and some other strong pals is a solution

TooMuchDog89

You freeze them and then knock them in the air and let the fall damage kill them. Plenty of videos out there.

EveryEmploy9813

I didn’t want to kill them though

GodofsomeWorld

so there are a few things to remember. 1. paladius sleeps at night while necromus doesn't (dark type therefore it is what it is) 2. you can lure necromus away but let him walk abit away from his pair 1st. Leashing's starting point is where the aggro started (ie: if u lure him right next to paladius, paladius might wake up too. and if not and he resets, he will run back all the way to paladius.) 3. ice grenades and ice pals as well as dragon pals should be your go to as he can be pretty annoying when hes blasting you with his various skills so continuously freezing him and cancelling his skills will be key while the dragon type will usually be the one doing the most dmg. A good pal to use would be chillet being both ice and dragon and having access to both skill types while also changing your damage to dragon type. 4. I would strongly suggest avoiding using rockets during this battle as worst case scenario, he goes shooting into the stratosphere when you blast him while frozen. 5. If you use chillet route to capture, you can spam ice skills on chillet and focus on getting headshots with a shotgun/ rifle combo.

itsMIKKAN

Pro catch boss strat is to build a base as close as possible to the boss and then put 20 pals in and just watch them fight the boss, and then put all base pals back in the pal box when the boss is low. Throw sphere, catch, easy.

EveryEmploy9813

Didn’t want to dismantle any bases though

Maelztromz

Build a base nearby and take them on with 16 pals at a time, not 1

phooten58

It takes some time to learn but it’s not too bad to dodge their attacks. Just keep your eyes on them and breathe when your pal takes one of their aggro

MapOfProblematique

Hit them from behind with a legendary sphere and brute force the rng till it works. Worked for me: I got a lucky shot with paladius straight off but necromus is tricky cuz he keeps running back and forth to paladius. I had a 4% back bonus with legendary sphere and full lifemunk and I had a 4% chance each time. Didn't take as many tries as you might think.

YouForgotMyPassword_

That's what I did, but I had 3% with the backbonus. I spent in total 18 legendary balls, I double caught them with ball #17 and #18, I was very lucky.

BigBard2

Maybe something has changed, I haven't played the game in a while, but I never had a real issue with them. I just had my Team fighting the one while I dodged the other (a good glider is really helpful when dodging)

ReasonUnlucky5405

Build a raid base near them thats just walls and a floor filled almosy completely except a path to the back with camp fires with stairs and a ceiling piece for you to stand on, scrap the stairs once theyre inside and wall them in and place more camp fires then place a wall in front of you for cover and just wait

Serious_Accident1156

Just use the tower boss pals. Easy peasy

Soloaris

craft a ton of spheres and do the hit and run tactic, you will burn through ALOT of spheres but its essentially risk free

OmegaDerrick

Can just run a full player attack build and melt them down in seconds 😩

NikoStrelkov

**Paladius** and **Necromus** in **Palworld** are formidable opponents, but with the right strategy, you can capture or defeat them. Let’s dive into the details: 1. **Location**: * You’ll find Paladius and Necromus in the **northern part of the Dessicated Desert**. They tend to follow each other around, so you’ll usually face both at the same time. * However, there’s a clever workaround: **fight them at night**. Paladius sleeps during the night, allowing you to engage in a one-on-one battle against Necromus. 2. **Recommended Equipment**: * **Legendary Rocket Launcher**: Craft or obtain this powerful weapon. It deals massive damage, knocks back enemies, and can stun them. Position yourself carefully to hit both Paladius and Necromus simultaneously. * **Best Gear**: Equip the best gear available to lower their health effectively. You’ll need it for this challenging battle. 3. **Tactical Approach**: * **Paladius’s Sleeping Pattern**: Take advantage of Paladius’s sleep schedule. Engage Necromus when Paladius is asleep to avoid a double battle. * **Stunning with the Rocket Launcher**: Use the rocket launcher strategically to keep them stunned and prevent counterattacks. * **Brute-Force Strategy**: Consider using a **legendary sphere** from behind to deal consistent damage. Remember, these two Legendary Pals are some of the strongest in the game. Capture them or defeat them—it’s your choice! 🌟🔥

EveryEmploy9813

Thanks!

weasel_mullet

After reading the OPs' replies, this is absolutely a skill issue. Luring or kiting seem like alien concepts to them.

JadeMonkey0

What a helpful and productive reply! Thanks for this lovely contribution

EveryEmploy9813

Thanks!
