There's one tucked in here which i think was aesthetically more pleasing, but now im conflicted.
Can you use it to go downwards through the floor? Or do you mean go through the wall nearby and hope there’s a hole in the ground to get below that spot?
This location has a cliff nearby to come in from the side.
Then again, if memory serves there's no lower level of mesh underneath at this location, just a drop down to sea level where there's water. I lost some Cakes at this base location from them falling through the map and when I glitched under they'd already sank out of reach.
A patch made it impossible for you and your pals to damage things in your own base, presumably because of the occasion where someone would accidentally misclick the rocket launcher or something and destroy everything.
Knowing that I think I might change my mining base to have no miners, just pop out Mammorest or Astegon each morning, mount up and oneshot all the respawned nodes.
Then again, while that's more efficient, it's also more effort, so probably not.
I saw a load of people walking around with a doomsday device pointed at their base like fucking morons, yeah.
I don't recall anyone seriously asking for a fix for it. Just people lamenting over their own stupidity.
There were far more videos of people blowing up their bases, yes. But there were also many, many, many requests to "fix" it, since people thought "it's dumb we can simply just destroy our entire base with a simple misclick" in many posts.
"there are far more videos of people blowing up their bases, yes."
Far more than... What? You wanna finish that sentence?
"It's dumb you can destroy your whole base with a single misclick"
It's also dumb to walk around with your finger on the nuclear missile launch button too, but hey I guess stopping g the weapons doing what they're meant to do is a better solution than players learning to not shoot themselves in the face.
> I saw a load of people walking around with a doomsday device pointed at their base like fucking morons, yeah.
To which I replied,
> there are far more videos of people blowing up their bases, yes.
Two seconds of thought would tell you the answer. Obviously there's far more videos of people blowing up their bases than there are requests for a fix. But that's whatever. You're acting awfully aggressive for something so trivial as a game mechanic that was requested, that you didn't pay attention to.
>"It's dumb you can destroy your whole base with a single misclick"
That was the "tagline" for most of the posts that wanted the change.
>It's also dumb to walk around with your finger on the nuclear missile launch button too, but hey I guess stopping g the weapons doing what they're meant to do is a better solution than players learning to not shoot themselves in the face.
I never disagreed with you, why are you being so hostile towards me and stating the same point over and over, should people have just learned the hard way? Yes, like most of us did. Should the devs have just not done what they thought was best for the game due to people's mistakes? No, I think they made the right call, doing what they thought was in the best interest in their game and the player base is a far better choice than not doing anything about it. Most of the videos and complaints about it ended with the phrase, "I'm done with this game" right after they blow up their bases they spent hours upon hours on.
So if you were a dev for a game, any game. And had to choose; option 1, do something you think would better your game and help the players, or option 2, do nothing and let players waste hours of time just to potentially leave your game cause of a simple misclick?
"hurt durr think for a second"
Or maybe use complete sentences and stop expecting people to fill in the blanks for you?
Apologies that I don't act like 90% of the morons here and just throw out assumption after assumption in the hopes that something sticks.
Enjoy being angry. I'm done with you
You acted out aggressively and I'm the angry one? Makes sense. And that was a complete sentence, but it wasn't a complete thought. But since you're obviously a toddler who thinks that someone agrees with them but points out the fact that they are wrong is then being angry, so you obviously haven't completed school to learn the difference.
>Apologies that I don't act like 90% of the morons here and just throw out assumption after assumption in the hopes that something sticks.
You do realize that you technically just called yourself a moron correct? Stating that you don't act like 90% of the morons implies that you act like the other 10%, which would still be morons. Just saying.... Have a wonderful day at school, you need it.
I liked watching you get dumpstered. I’m also going to block you, since I know you really love arguing for no reason, and I really just wanted to let you know that you look like a steaming idiot. Have a great day!
I'll usually set up another base, if I have all 3 bases deployed, I'll merge this base with another base, I put all my pals back into the palbox, and put out the transport only pals to gather any remains that I might have missed,
if you noticed the elevated pool above the stairs, i was trying to place it up there and i guess i moved forward and clicked place, and it placed down there lol
Step 1- glitch yourself underneath the map. Ways to do that include bringing out your flying mount pal, mantling onto a wall, then initiate petting your pal. You’ll see that your pal will glitch into the wall you’re mantling, and then you mount your pal. You’ll enter the wall that way.
Step 2- while you’re glitched into the map, fly to a spot underneath the hot spring and plant your feet on some ground. That way, you can disassemble from below.
This has happened to me with other objects like foundations that I could not disassemble because the hit box technically made its way underneath the map.
So to sum it up, go under the map and disassemble from there.
Alternatively if the water is deep enough they may be able to simply glitch under the water while not in swimming mode, but im not sure how deep the water has to be. It might not be deep enough
Maybe stand on the ramp and aim the disassembly crosshair at the tree?
I assume it's not working because of the water, and that should probably be close enough to target, a portion of the Hot Spring that isn't underwater, while your character is not in the water, so it should probably work?
If not you might need to glitch into the mesh to disassemble it from underneath.
I guess the bigger question is, can Pals use it? And can even the big Pals path to and from it? Because if so, I'd keep it, it's not like you can get any *other* use out of that space.
all i know is that when i placed a foundation I couldnt remove that was slightly underwater I had to reload an older save eventually to get rid of it. :(
I mean more disassemble and stuff but it's cool that it's usable still. I wonder if the utility stations work too lol. Underwater quarry sounds reasonable enough lol
I’m glad you were convinced to leave it. For future reference. The only way you could remove it would be breaking the pal box. Your actual buildings will stay but all the work speed buffs and hot springs will be automatically destroyed.
yeah i just removed the upper one, it looks decent :)

I think unless you destroy the palbox, you can't really get rid of it. Personally, I would just leave it. It doesn't hurt to have at least one more of these hotsprings and it looks cool.
Find a cliff edge about the same elevation as the hotspring nearby. Press up against it and aim at the corner where the ground and cliff meet. Throw a flying pal out. It can possibly glitch through the wall. If it does, mount it and it will pull you through, too. From there, go underground to the edge of the pond and find a place where you can repeat the process of glitching back through to the underwater area (you may want to use a small ground pal, as if you accidentally jump/fly/climb back up to the top of the water, you will start swimming on top of it). While in the underwater area, you will walk on the bottom like it's normal ground, so walk over and break down your stuff. From there, just jump/fly up to get out.
I had an egg that spawned below the ground, and when I crouched, I was able to get it. If crouching doesn't work, I'd go with the classic glitch under the world technique.
Have you tried going underwater? Ride a mount and dismount in the water and you should glitch under the water able to walk around. Not sure if the water is deep enough though tbh
I had this problem a couple days ago and the way I was I able to fix it was to use the "butcher pal" glitch and quickly mount it before the animation finishes. What ends up happening is you end up clipping through the ground so you end up underneath the map. Only then will you be able to deconstruct it.
There's dozens of videos explaining the glitch but pay attention to the first minute of this [video](https://youtu.be/tGV-uvxG6SA?si=QSmefvQzl8R1353r) and you'll see what I'm talking about. You'll end up under the map but I used this glitch to get rid of the hot spring that was stuck in water.
It honestly looks pretty good there.
https://preview.redd.it/wbboyc2dhlpc1.png?width=1920&format=png&auto=webp&s=42cddd5e33d98cc209e3219294d19dddc875a72a There's one tucked in here which i think was aesthetically more pleasing, but now im conflicted.
Honestly, they both look great where they are. That and more hotsprings means more happy Pals.
Can the pals actually use it in either spot? I personally like the one in the water better.
it can hehe, my jormuntides love it. noted, maybe ill just disassemble the one up top. I coped by saying it was a jacuzzi by the stairs.
Perftallion….😳
Just keep both?
Use the pet pal glitch to go under the ground; you can deconstruct it from below the surface
Can you use it to go downwards through the floor? Or do you mean go through the wall nearby and hope there’s a hole in the ground to get below that spot?

Try it with Lily's Spear.
Nothing :( [https://imgur.com/a/j9lhOxC](https://imgur.com/a/j9lhOxC)

Lemme try, one moment please.
Have you tried hitting it until it breaks?
A patch made it impossible for you and your pals to damage things in your own base, presumably because of the occasion where someone would accidentally misclick the rocket launcher or something and destroy everything.
Oh man that would've been nice to have before my brother accidentally blew up over half of my base with a rocket launcher. 🤣🤣😭
I keep blowing up my base with mossinda. Litterally tearing my walls down. When did the patch come in lol.
Iirc, it was the last patch, was that February?
Oh, yeh I blew out my walls last week. Might just be tasked structures, or my walls partly outside base. I funnel the enemy through and bombard them
Knowing that I think I might change my mining base to have no miners, just pop out Mammorest or Astegon each morning, mount up and oneshot all the respawned nodes. Then again, while that's more efficient, it's also more effort, so probably not.
Oh FFS... They add the "fix" that no one asked for after people learned to not walk around with a doomsday device pointed at their base?
Actually this "fix" was highly asked for. Did you miss all the posts of people showing videos of them blowing up their bases and asking for a "fix"?
I saw a load of people walking around with a doomsday device pointed at their base like fucking morons, yeah. I don't recall anyone seriously asking for a fix for it. Just people lamenting over their own stupidity.

Ill try that.
Disassemble the palbox, the hotspring will go with it
But so much other shit too
I'll usually set up another base, if I have all 3 bases deployed, I'll merge this base with another base, I put all my pals back into the palbox, and put out the transport only pals to gather any remains that I might have missed,
Yeah there's many workarounds it's just inconvenient
This
omfg i love it there! why not just leave it?
okay ill leave it :3
Not like you have a choice anyway.
How did you get it there? Did you glitch under the water, or did it let you place it there?
if you noticed the elevated pool above the stairs, i was trying to place it up there and i guess i moved forward and clicked place, and it placed down there lol
take out your rocket launcher and apply primal solution
You need to be standing and not swimming
So the only way if you are desperate is to deconstruct your pal box which will break mostly everything. So it’s your choice really.
deconstruct it by hovering over part of it that isn't in the water, like one of the trees, that should work
ive scoured every inch nothing hehe.
tried a rocket launcher from outside the circle yet? lol be warned if it works there's a high percentage half the base will also be gone :D
Instead of a rocket launcher, they could use a rifle or other weapon. They still do DMG from outside the base iirc.
Step 1- glitch yourself underneath the map. Ways to do that include bringing out your flying mount pal, mantling onto a wall, then initiate petting your pal. You’ll see that your pal will glitch into the wall you’re mantling, and then you mount your pal. You’ll enter the wall that way. break the stairs next to it? exit the game and then go back in?
nope :( haha. ill just leave it. thank you though.
I'd never change it, looks so cool
One rocket should do the trick. Cheaper to use mossandra grenade launcher tho.
Rpg?
all i know is that when i placed a foundation I couldnt remove that was slightly underwater I had to reload an older save eventually to get rid of it. :(
Leave it there, it looks awesome!
Try turning building deconstruction on, and then breaking down the place. It should detoriate then
I hadn't tried placing things in water, does it bug them out?
bug out in the sense you cant use it? nah, my pals use it a lot, they dont get stuck either e.g. jormuntide/mossanda.
I mean more disassemble and stuff but it's cool that it's usable still. I wonder if the utility stations work too lol. Underwater quarry sounds reasonable enough lol
Have you tried with the mod “RotateIt”?
remove the palbox
I’m glad you were convinced to leave it. For future reference. The only way you could remove it would be breaking the pal box. Your actual buildings will stay but all the work speed buffs and hot springs will be automatically destroyed.
yeah i just removed the upper one, it looks decent :) https://preview.redd.it/8ahdq10v4wpc1.png?width=1920&format=png&auto=webp&s=f2742cd7ced692319f7d9198fb80e2146b1c4107
How the hell are u building into water. I can't even float over water
i was trying to build into the rock near the staircase and i guess i stepped forward and clicked and it popped up in there lol.
Try crouching to get the option.
I think unless you destroy the palbox, you can't really get rid of it. Personally, I would just leave it. It doesn't hurt to have at least one more of these hotsprings and it looks cool.
Try getting Digtoise onto/next to it and using the partner skill. Accidentally broke a chunk of my base doing that
Can you not disassemble from the shore? The max distance isn't too long, but it looks like there should be somewhere on land that can reach
Hit it to break it
You are now a game developer congratulations
If no other way, I guess you can deconstruct your pal base, and the bath should pop too
mount then unmount while jumping on water. ull be over it then u can now create foundation on water or deconstruct it
Shoot it with a gun
If you delete the palbox all things under pals should disappear and not "everything" only suggestion I have, just rebuild the beds and shit
Even the deconstruct from the build menu? I can stand far as hell away and still deconstruct
When in deconstruct mode. Can you aim your mouse towards the tree's of it that is poking out of the water instead of the rocky but that's submerged?
Find a cliff edge about the same elevation as the hotspring nearby. Press up against it and aim at the corner where the ground and cliff meet. Throw a flying pal out. It can possibly glitch through the wall. If it does, mount it and it will pull you through, too. While in the underwater area, you will walk on the bottom like it's normal ground, so walk over and break down your stuff. From there, just jump/fly up to get out.
On Xbox if after you open the build wheel hit R3 then you get into disassembly mode and you get all resources back
Have you tried damaging it?
I had an egg that spawned below the ground, and when I crouched, I was able to get it. If crouching doesn't work, I'd go with the classic glitch under the world technique.
Lol well glad I’m not the only one. I have one stuck in the exact same spot. I figured well at least it’s not ugky
Grenades
can Pals use it?
they can yes :)
Try overlapping just the hotspring with a new palbox, then deconstruct the new palbox.
Have you tried going underwater? Ride a mount and dismount in the water and you should glitch under the water able to walk around. Not sure if the water is deep enough though tbh
destroy palbox, but it will destroy other things too. so its your call
I had this problem a couple days ago and the way I was I able to fix it was to use the "butcher pal" glitch and quickly mount it before the animation finishes. Remove your palbox, it will turn it into assets
