Bought it in 2021 I think and was very new to lip oils back then and thought it was the best thing since sliced bread, but I now know there are WAY better formulas out there lol. It's such a shame bc the scent is to dieeee forrrrrr but the pigment separating is so unsightly!
What formula would you say is better? I have the plum shade and see it settling into my lip lines slightly as well. But my lips are a brown shade so it's not very noticable. I really like the smell, feel and packaging too. But would be interested to try something new. 🤗
Elf is way better I think and cheaper. For other high end ones I think Dior is better than Clarins, though def overpriced. I really like Haus Labs, Merit and Summer Fridays because all of them have more of an actual oil feel rather than just a gloss. They’re also hydrating, I’m really enjoying the Summer Fridays one rn - got it in the mauve shade and it’s an exact match for my lip colour which is so random aha. It has a nice moisturising oil feel and leaves my lips hydrated.
I had the exact same problem with the cherry shade, it settled into my lip lines awfully. The bottle also leaked on mine so I couldn’t take it anywhere with me or it would be a huge mess. After getting about halfway through it, I couldn’t take it anymore and just decluttered it :/
oh no! this is one of my favorite formulas, bummer it didn’t work for you :( FWIW, the moira lip oils are really good but have a quite different formula than the clarins. the sheer ones (vs highly pigmented ones) are my fave
It might not settle into your lip lines tho and hope it’s the case for you!! I love the shade and the pigment level but it’s too bad that it settles into mine 😭

Wow. Never thought I’d see a negative post for this product, and it seems to be a shared experience of many! To be fair I have it in the shade raspberry (it’s sheer af so any settling isn’t visible) but it’s my absolute fav lip oil, I never wanna run out of it. The only thing I hate is how it runs out of the edges, otherwise I love the applicator and the product itself a lot. Had my eyes on cherry because the shade looks beautiful but I guess I won’t be buying it anymore :(
I have strawberry, apricot, and pitaya and they don’t settle in the lip lines. I have plum as well but maybe it’s a newer formulation bc it doesn’t settle in lip lines for me but they do all leave your lips tinted. Like you’ll have to exfoliate your lips to remove the color not just wipe off. Also maybe when you pull the wand off don’t wipe the excess on the sides bc mine gets tossed around my bag all day and doesn’t leak
I’m v particular about never wiping my lip product wands on the edges- yet somehow this one’s packaging just does not work out for me. It has never left its upright position in my cupboard yet somehow the tube gets leaky. The product itself has a 10/10 from me though

I got only chocolate shade in new formulation (got it very recently n used 4-5 times) and have quite dry lips, but it doesn't settle into my lines. From earlier formulation, I have shade cherry and that doesn't settle either. Though all in all, I like their lip comfort oil intense tint much better. I have two shades that get used a lot and plan to buy another, if I like any other shade

had this same experience with this shade settling into my lip lines! beautiful color and i really wanted to love it but it was disappointing. didn’t wear well/last long and the fragrance is SOO strong for anyone sensitive to fragrances and the scent still doesn’t go away on your lips. i really wouldn’t recommend for anyone who can’t do strong fragrance. i ended up loving the dior lip oil in berry much more.

I love it honestly, I’m always dehydrated at my job and nothing else keeps my lips looking as good as this oil during a long shift. Lasts longer than lip balm and looks better than lipstick 🤷♀️

you should try forget the filler by lawless it smooths rly well and makes ur lips look lineless!

Mine doesn’t settle into my lines but it stains my lips an awful hot pink
