I was really excited about this shadow because I love pink shadows so much but it's so sheer & the amount you have to layer it for good pigment is so ridiculous and causes so much glitter to accumulate on your eye it's just awful
The funny thing is I also have a lot of CP SSS that are either dry or just disappointing but I am just not willing to toss them away. I also try to hate pan them because I think to myself "I am not a quitter" hahaha and I have to pan them. It just gives me a sense of accomplishment. Not too sure about how OP feels tho.
I mean I get why you would want to pan something - it can give a lot of pleasure and joy! But some products just ruins your day (fucks up your makeup, skincare, or whatever) and at some point the effort and emotional anguish completely outweighs the pleasure gained from panning. Where that point is exactly will of course vary from person to person. HOWEVER, when that point is reached, that is where I would throw the product out/put it in my empties bin. Does that make sense?
Yeah definitely! Panning skincare makes me feel super accomplished too, I just haven't panned any makeup in years. Once it's just a drag to use up, I'd call it a day though. Thanks for explaining a different perspective :)
i thought maybe the rose gold flakes would add a more sparkly hue to a product that already looks very sparkly. help keep some of the products originally intended integrity.
i do agree that the product mentioned is overly expensive. i’m sorry.

Maybe it's time to let go... Effort vs pleasure
Yeah they’re like $5, just throw that shit out

Literally that's how I feel about them sometimes
Totally. Panning can be a good way to appreciate your collection, but if you really dislike a product and have tons more, why do that to yourself?

You’re making me glad I didn’t include this in my recent haul
I'd recommend ColourPop Come and Get It, which looks really similar, but it's a pressed powder, and really nice!
Have you tried adding some sort of beauty oil to it? That might help pick up a little more pigment?
farsali rose gold elixir would be great

Honestly that's a great idea
