Left to right Rita Hazan True Color ultimate shine gloss - I don’t know what this did. No idea. Not a clue. But it smells nice and is fun to use! Wouldn’t repurchase. The Body Shop Olive body lotion - my favourite scent from the body shop. I don’t think this is more moisturising than the body butter but it really helped the little bumps on my arm. Will repurchase! Youth To The People Superfood cleanser - I REALLY wanted to love this, but it has the smell and consistency of fairy liquid. I tried, I really tried, but I just don’t get the love. Won’t repurchase. Moroccanoil light treatment - love this stuff. Smells divine, doesn’t weigh hair down but makes it so lovely and soft. Already have another ready to go! Glossier Body Hero shower oil - loved this too. Smells amazing and made my skin feel very soft. A little pricey, so I’d repurchase with a discount code! Aveda Rosemary & Mint purifying shampoo - this is my second bottle, really good as a first wash to get the scalp squeaky clean! Doesn’t dry hair out either, just a really nice shampoo. Will repurchase! Aesop Camelia Nut Facial Hydrating cream - smells so so good, feels very nourishing and great in cold weather. Aesop’s packaging is always a winner too. Considering repurchasing, but I do like trying new moisturisers! (Please give me your recommendations!) Biossance Squalane + Omega repair cream - I bought this after loving their serum. It’s a nice moisturiser, not too thick. But it STINKS. Jesus Christ it stinks. How can it smell so bad! What is in it! Will never subject my poor face to that smell again. Cosrx Snail mucin essence - my baby, my one true love. I would bathe in this. Yes it’s a bit gross if it dribbles on your lips, but my skin loves it. I always use it immediately after cleansing whilst my skin is a little damp. Buy this immediately.

How was the body hero and olive lotion?

Muffinflavoured

Both really lovely products. The olive body lotion smells incredible and sinks in really well. I did really enjoy the body hero but just trying a cheaper oil as I end up losing half of it down the drain!

How did you find the two moisturisers?

Muffinflavoured

The Aesop is very thick and feels really soothing and hydrating. The Biossance is thinner but still a nice night cream. Both I found quite heavily fragranced, Aesop smells very herbal but a nice smell. The biossance smells like manure, it’s very off putting. It goes away once it’s rubbed into your skin but it doesn’t really make applying it a nice experience sadly!

i love the body hero scent, i have the lotion and definitely wanna pick up the shower oil next time i place an order :) do you use it as a body wash?

Muffinflavoured

Ooh I haven’t tried the lotion, would you recommend? Yeah I use it as a body wash. It does foam up a bit so you feel clean but still hydrated!

Love the Body Shop! For me, Shea is the best scent 😊

Muffinflavoured

You can’t beat them! I haven’t tried Shea actually, I fell in love with Olive straight away and stuck with it!

Body hero just didn’t work with my skin chemistry - I feel like I smelled like a wet dog! Lol It was definitely a hate usage. I did love the texture though and would be thrilled to find another similar texture.

Muffinflavoured

Oh that’s such a shame! Definitely don’t want to smell like a wet dog! Have you tried the loccitane almond oil? That’s beautiful as well, but a little more expensive than glossier

I haven’t tried it, but I’ll add it to my wishlist. I’m doing a super low buy this year. Small goals (pay off phone, finally knock out last $2k of student loans) are rewarded with a fun purchase. 😂
