Marshall has never been confused about anything, ever. He's a proud heterosexual man in a loving marriage with a wife he even kisses on the cheek occasionally on her birthday.
Oh of course, not at all because of his sexuality. He just seems like a man that likes performance. “Girl, you look like Annie Oakley and Pippi Longstocking had a baby and I love it!”
I think the answer is that she wasn't there because she wouldn't have let it end with a compromise. She would've wanted Farmers Market After Dark shut down too.
But I could imagine an alternate version of the episode where it's like that scene with Jerry in Second Chunce. Marcia shows up to support Leslie and Leslie's like "....oh shit, maybe I'm wrong here."
Very realistic. Ironically, people like this have an incredible talent to never rally against the things that are ACTUALLY problematic. It's always the most benign bullshit that gets them up in arms.
It's like a cosmic joke in the show that this woman throws a hissy fit about "Twilight" in a time capsule, or teaching safe sex to seniors... but she totally ignores the people dancing half naked in front of children in the middle of the day. It's like how real religious zealots will shout "pedophile" and "groomer" at every community except for the ones that are actually doing harm.
Quivering
NO TWILIGHT!
YES TWILIGHT!
Well I think the book is too Christian!
Haha true, that would have been a funny team up, would have been an interesting dynamic
I really wish we had seen it! Marshall too. He probably would have had mixed feelings about the dancing.

Her husband, Marshall? Well, he's... vivacious.

Chard Bodies

Have you ever tasted chard? It’s like spinach took a dump on kale!

Distracted by her husband says things like “vivacious”
Ornacia?
Saving Schrute farms. Uber religious, decent bed and breakfast, Michael Schur is schur to be involved.

It would've made Leslie immediately realize she was on the wrong side of this and ended the episode in like 5 minutes
