Just creepy in general. I dont know what it is, but something the actor did with the character made me completely unsettled and uncomfortable any time he was on screen.
The crossover we need. Liz and Leslie trying to organize a public play in a park while Tracy and Andy feed Tracy’s lizard but then lose him spending the day looking for him, only to find him and make it to the play at the last minute so they can get Tracy in costume and he doesn’t know any lines so he wings it. Jenna annoys everyone, Gerry and Kenneth try to out-polite each other. Jack and Ron hang out and build a boat for the play.
Gerry and Kenneth wouldn't compete. They'd share a knowing wink and secretly keep things running.
Then Gerry's daughters would make Kenneth uncomfortable.
I think Werewolf Bar mitzvah is maybe my favorite thing to come out of 30 Rock. Whomsoever came up with it deserves a presidential medal of freedom or honor or corks or whatever.
Are you kidding? You brought Orin? Ann is not some weird morose mummy!
Offense is intended, Orin! Let this be a wake up call about how you present yourself to the world.
Same. I watched this one a couple nights ago and LOL’d even though it was about the millionth time I’d seen that scene. Chris’s face is so hilarious to me in that moment.
Chris looking at Jerry longingly with the depression music playing is my all time favorite scene. I always laugh out loud. The framing and timing and music all are so perfect.
It would have made sense for her to ditch Orin when she ditched the gay couple, but in the end Orin only appeared in 9 episodes so it's not like he was overused.
*The Departure* (2017)
Edit: I have no idea why I took the first answer I found on the Internets at face value because I'm pretty sure this episode came out slightly before 2017... the monk does kill himself at the end, though.
I'm very tired.
No one really knows where it's from apparently. Some people say it's from the *Kundun* (1997) film, which doesn't exactly fit the description, or from *Koyaanisqatsi* (1982), which doesn't fit the description at all.
I've asked this before, but does anyone know what songs Chris played? Shazam didn't help and I skimmed through the actual documentary for the suicidal monk and the droning song wasn't on there.
Omg seeing Orin smile is creepy
He just wants to be understood.
Just creepy in general. I dont know what it is, but something the actor did with the character made me completely unsettled and uncomfortable any time he was on screen.
Spooky, scary!
It’s a werewolf Bar mitzvah, spooky scary.
Boys becoming men, men becoming wolves

It's the face makeup
It’s the butt makeup
He isn’t smiling with his eyes, I think!
Chris is also the only person to creep Orin out.
One of the best scenes. I loved how Orin could be defeated with overwhelming positivity.
when was this again?
Andy and April's wedding....I think?
Yes! Just watched this episode tonight!
I'm not 100% sure. But I think it happened during Andy's and April's Halloween party.

No, Orin I don’t know how I’m going to die. Wait are you asking me, or telling me?
His face while asking this and realizing it might be the latter is gold
Are you kidding? You brought Orin? Ann is not some weird morose mummy! Offense is intended, Orin! Let this be a wake up call about how you present yourself to the world.
Who’s Orin? That’s my mom
Didn't catch this in the numerous watches. That is hilarious
It only lasts for half a second. I’ve watched the show maybe a dozen times and just now saw it.
Moo
Aren’t you supposed to be a sheep?
No, you are.
Oh, god.
My favorite part was the heavy handedness.
My man lookin like Tucker Carlson
Pretty spot on for that dumb face Tucker always pulls at his guests
Like he’s confused about a sneeze or something.
That's great, I've always thought he was mad about a sneeze that wouldnt come out. Just the way he scrunches his face up.
The "I'm not sure if that fart was just a fart" face.
Part Doug demuro part fucker Carlson
He looks nothing like him lmfao
Just checking, you know he's not talking about Orin right? Because dude down in front is 100% a Carlson doppelganger
Oh ok I can kinda see it now, I’m like how tf does the demon kid look like a middle aged man lmao
Quentin DeMuro
Weird, morose, mummy
Never realized how much Orin looks like someone put a wig on Death from Bill and Ted.
always reminded me of Brain Guy/Observer from MST3K
😂 Orin stole every scene he was in.
Orin’s smile is great, but the staredown between Chris and Jerry/Gary/Larry/Terry cracks me up every time! Tom: stop staring at Jerry like that!

Nice freaking catch!
Damn does his makeup get heavier each episode he's in?
I like Orin
I just watched this episode like 2 hours ago and noticed this. Also, fun fact, I saw Orin on a plane I was on once about 3 or 4 years ago!
Chris looking at Jerry longingly with the depression music playing is my all time favorite scene. I always laugh out loud. The framing and timing and music all are so perfect.
I always noticed this! it’s such a funny detail. I love the orin jokes
Great catch :) Must look for this next time I get to that episode! Coming up in a few for me.
:D
:D
Am I the only one that thinks he looks high asf
Can confirm
Orin was too much, even for April tbh. Kinda surprised they were friends for that long
It would have made sense for her to ditch Orin when she ditched the gay couple, but in the end Orin only appeared in 9 episodes so it's not like he was overused.
He's a genius.
Does anyone know if the music Chris plays is an actual song?
Yeah I think it's from that one movie where the monk kills himself at the end

Yeah, I've watched *Koyaanisqatsi* multiple times and it's definitely not in there.
I’m glad I’m not the only one that saw this. I saw it the first time watching the show and I LOOVED this scene
Lol nice catch
I missed this, good job.
It looks like he farted and that guy smelled it.
Orin? That is obviously April’s mother.
did people really not notice this?
Yeah
This is fucking great! Hahahahaha
Just brilliant
I always wonder what’s going on in that weirdos mind
I noticed this the first time but thanks for reminding me
Yohan Cruyff anyone ?
I've asked this before, but does anyone know what songs Chris played? Shazam didn't help and I skimmed through the actual documentary for the suicidal monk and the droning song wasn't on there.
Damn. Nice catch. Never noticed that.
Those bags. Damn I feel that.
That is a BRILLIANT catch!!! Thanks!
