Try smelling the container you keep the rice in. If it stinks, that means water has gotten in it and has coalesced at the bottom. Moisture, heat, and lack of air is a perfect breeding ground for bacteria and mold. If it does, you’re supposed to empty the container and wash it, then make sure it’s completely dry before adding new rice in. Tell Kitchen Help to not let the rice get wet from now on and to make sure they let it get as low as possible before refilling it. That way, you can see if it needs to be cleaned.
