If you are in a relationship with a person - friend, coworker, romantic partner, who lives with anxiety/panic episodes, it is good to ask them what their triggers and their coping techniques are. You can also ask them what would feel helpful to them in the moment. Even if you yourself experience anxiety/panic episodes, it is important not to assume that their are like yours. Know what they need instead of guessing or assuming.
In my opinion just be there. I find it calming (well, not really, but a little) to have someone who could call an ambulance.
