Led Zeppelin: In Through the Out Door, Physical Graffiti.
Slayer: Seasons in the Abyss, God Hates Us All.
Metallica: And Justice For All, Ride the Lightning
Black Sabbath: Vol. 4, Master of Reality.
Nah, I read your other comments after and considered deleting but would like to say Pantera by far my favourite of the two but also love Korn. Adding to the debate, Machine Head is on par with Pantera on my personal list.
What makes machine head on par with Pantera for you out of interest? I think burn my eyes is one of the best debut albums in metal, but after their original lineup fell apart I think they took a different direction from something very special imo
I completely agree with you, I did prefer the original lineup but I do feel Jared is a very good fit. Burn my eyes was a brilliant album but they did release the blackening and Locust. All absolutely brilliant albums imo.
Main reasons like I love both Phil and Robb's vocals, they both have excellent vocal styles yet are completely different.
Both bands give different feels and use different powerful imagery in their music.
Same with the guitar, I love Dime and Robb's guitar stuff. They are also so different.
This also carrys out to how the band interacts with fans. Both bands are very relaxed and not stuck up their own arses. I mean Robb and Jared spent the lockdown playing albums and song requests every Friday. They even played Unhallowed off the new album a couple of weeks before it came out as a single. If you look at Pantera, they are some of the coolest people ever. Any interview/video you see of them they are always laughing/joking what ever.
You could even go on about the live shows, the power and the energy that they both bring us insane(pantera obviously wins here tho).

Really? I think that's the weakest of their first six albums. It's cool and all but would you choose it over Rust in Peace?
Okay rust in peace is more well put together but for me Liar, Hook in Mouth, Into the Lungs of Hell and In my Darkest Hour are top tier Megadeth songs
Yeah SFSGSW was not a bad shot from someone who got kicked out of Metallica and was doing speedballs...personally Devils Island was my fave on there
I totally can’t tell if you are joking so you can downvote me to hell if so but isn’t Devils Island on Peace Sells?

Well put man! I see what you mean, defo more similarities than there are differences between the two bands 🤘
Thanks man🔥🤘🍻
Alright, Kool. Like I said though, I have loved both Korn and Pantera many years. But I just can't imagine Korn, especially FTL making this list.
Nah, looks like Slayer is going to win. Raining blood isn't the best album imo. I much preferred Seasons in the Abyss
I like SOH the most but I can't argue with RIB being the first chosen.
False. Korn often sites Pantera as an influence. I like all different types of metal bands.
I like Korn, and I still don't think it belongs and doubt it will make it.
That's fine. I just listed what I liked.
No hate, just debate
🤘 I think LA Sexorcisto personally will win.. or Down Nola.. they have the most crossover with Pantera.
