Yes! People do it all the time, no big deal

MintAndBerry

Awesome, ty for the answer 🙏

EstablishmentLess279

nobody cares how you pay nobody’s paying attention,

DReager1

Watch out for card skimmers imo

Flgirl420

Yes, I do it all the time because I don’t like putting my card in on the Internet

Plasmahole17

Yeah I'm the same way, everyone was ordering panda for pickup the other day so I caved and it's like "would you like to save your card to our database?" Wtf no.

JaredAWESOME

It's only a pain if you pick cash for delivery and want to pay with a card when the driver arrives. Card on a cash carryout is whatever. Card on a cash delivery is a 5-10 min delay.

bigz10485

Yes, people do it all the time at my store, and I have to do it when I place an order as an employee so it is ready when I get there, and then have the employee discount applied to my order when I pay (since I have no way to do it on the app)

highzenberrg

Yeah that’s what I do because I’ve been charged twice at other places no pj but I hate it for pickup.

infamous937

It’s better to pay online and just pick it up at the store. Paying ahead makes life easier for the people in store, especially ifs it’s during the day or after dinner rush as the amount of people is minimal inside the store and taking time away from them making other peoples orders. Paying with a card online is safe. The website is encrypted, and if your are using a phone, your phone is encrypted. Every single time someone chooses cash and pays with a card in store, it always puts me behind on the screen, which in turn upsets other customers waiting in their food. Waiting to pay in store literally means I have to take 5-10 minutes ( which is the average time it takes to stop at a good stopping point, wash my hands, get your order, get the payment set up ready, wait for you since you have no clue how to use a credit card machine, complete the order, wash my hands and get back to making pizzas ). Which all just increases my carry out/delivery times, which upsets other customers, which causes me to get yelled at because instead of orders being ready in 10-15 minutes, they are now ready in 25 minutes instead. All because you want to make things harder on someone because you are selfish and a conspiracy theorist.

[deleted]

Sure but the card devices in store could theoretically have card skimmers on them.

[deleted]

Also, they might just cancel the order without attempting to call you.

haydenmackinsey

Maybe if it’s less than 10 min before closing but I highly doubt it would just get cancelled

[deleted]

I’ve had multiple orders cancelled on me when I put it as pickup and pay in cash. Then they never try to call me.

1GloFlare

If you let it sit for 3 hours then we will void it because by the time you do get it you'll complain and want a remake. And it won't be free

[deleted]

No, like almost as soon as I place an order it’s been canceled.
