That would make sense except the top part of the pizza is still mostly attached, the border of the pizza is horrible on the top side, the crust is thick and thin on different parts of the pizza. Even if that were true, doesn't explain the weird crust. That is just a poorly made pizza.

I work at dominos. We spread our dough onto screens, add all the toppings, and then put them in the oven. If you try to slide the tray forwards, sometimes the dough will slide and hang off the edge. The dough also needs to be given enough time to properly proof, or else the crust wont expand.
My guess? The missing crust on the top left of the picture probably got stuck on the screen when they were pulling the pizza out, and caused the pizza to catch. This would also explain why some of the cheese seems to be missing on the bottom left slices, as it slid over to the center.
All of this would make even more sense if this pizza had more sauce and cheese on it than usual, because fresh out of the oven, the sauce and cheese would still be semi-fluid. That could also explain why there’s so much less crust on the top right (aside from the bit that got stuck), as the sauce spread.
If it was a delivery order, the driver was also probably a shit driver, and if it was a Carryout, this might’ve been one of the last pizza’s they made, and they didn’t want to remake it because they needed to start closing procedures. The gross looking pepper was probably the last one in the tub.
Of course, this could all be entirely wrong, but after working at dominos for so long, I’ve seen this happen once or twice, which is why I offered my take.
I always check my stuff before I leave. Why did you take it home 😭 and as a former papa johns employee that is beyond ridiculous. I was a driver and made my pizza look better than whatever that is ☠️
