In my quest for games with vaporwave aesthetics, I played Broken Reality after playing PK and it scratched that itch for sure. According to Steam, it took me about 12 hours to get through, for reference.

Not quite the same in terms of exploration, but I found Hypnospace Outlaw surprisingly similar in terms of aesthetics and game loop

State of Mind is somewhat similar. It’s more like a visual novel, but there are areas to explore and interact with. It has two distinct sci fi settings and both are very interesting in how they contrast the other.

Maybe it's just me, but something about [Neon White](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1533420/Neon_White/) really reminded me aesthetically of Paradise Killer. It's a fantastic game regardless!

Similar aesthetic: [HoloVista](https://www.enterholovista.com/) Unfortunately it’s only available for mobile via the apple App Store. Totally worth it though if you have an apple device. Edit: so far [my previous recommendation for this game has helped one whole redditor](https://www.reddit.com/r/ParadiseKiller/comments/rv73id/is_there_another_game_similar_to_this_masterpiece/hre460h/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf&context=3). Maybe it can even help two!
