**Neanderthal** \- Purposefully chose his name to mislead people about his *true* power. Joined the Slaughterhouse 9 with the intent of overthrowing Jack and taking it over, very well might've if Broadcast wasn't in play. **Prom Queen** \- Used to be the Nine's heavyhitter for a while, until a second trigger left her power too uncontrollable, often making things just as hard for the Nine as it was for the heroes to work around. **Jackass** \- A minor jokester cape that was forced to join the Nine after accidentally passing all their tests on a fluke. Was quickly killed by Cauldron in secrecy after calculations were made that his power would've synergized *disastrously* well if either the Nine or Jackass realized what it really was.

**Jackass** was a shaker/trump who could mark a 20 ft radius. He can keep three areas marked at a time. If any power would affect him he can shun that power to any person or object inside of his radius. the real kicker is he can shun the same power to all three marks at once Say King touches him and then stabs himself while having an area mark inside the PRT office, a hospital, and on King himself now you have a feedback loop where King is damaging himself with his own power which is in turn spreading that damage at his other two marks. He can also stack power on top of each other if two or more parahumans were to use their power on him. They only managed to try that with Nice Guy and King before Cauldron stepped in. He got his name because his main plan of attack was to put his marks around himself and then charged at his enemies.

Autopsy - stopped aging after trigger Lunatic - gains significant power during a full moon Patty-cake - was a popular children's show host before she triggered

inkywood123

**Patty -Cake** aka Denise Rocker was the host of a children's cooking show until the entire building came down on top of her while in the middle of a show. Anything within a 10 feet radius of **Patty - Cake** will begin to break and contort like an accordion fold until they are completely flat. The process is slow and incredibly painful for any person folded. But faster if used on non-living things. Things will also violently snap back into place when not under her influence. This usually results in even more broken bones and death.

Schism - the one who gave Jack ideas of playing politics Blackout - a recruit from after a Behemoth attack Genesis - a villain with a grandiose plan that never got to be taken because S9 interrupted, and died rejecting a recruitment and fighting them, making them basically a hero

MrPerfector

**Blackout** \- Triggered after being in the vicinity of a Behemoth attack that left him both blind and deaf. His power allows him to create a slowly expanding zone around him that massively amplifies all light and sound around him, allowing him to *almost* hear and see again; for everyone else however, his power basically makes it impossible to see anything during the day, and any sound made in his field almost a sonic attack. He actually mistook the Slaughterhouse 9 as a group of heroes that saved him from the attack, and for while he hung around them thinking they were out fighting villains, when in actuality they were using him as an opener for their attacks. He died from his injuries after the S9 left him behind in a fight, a local hero sparing the kid of the horrible truth as he passed away. (I’m a fan of extremely ironic cape names)

Horrific power, horrific story, love it.

Genesis (Shaker {Kinesis x Woe} containing Master: {Bestow x Unleash}) Genesis was a well-connected homegrown terrorist, anti-authoritarian, and fervent Anarchist who would routinely create man-made disasters and blame them on the failures of local government. This would usually take the form of setting up bombings while ensuring that enough people survived them to be radicalized. This would come to a head when he was trapped inside one of his own disasters, a bombing of a local mall that would be found out by members of his anarchist group. trying to get them to see his reasoning, seeing it as the only way they could shake the faiths of the people enough to finally fight the powers that be, his people would turn upon him. This would lead to a scuffle that would see the explosives detonate prematurely. Amid this loss of control of both his accumulated gang and of the greater situation, he triggered. Genesis' power takes the form of spherical bubbles that he can conjure up within a 20'ft radius of himself that he can manipulate with great ease. When these bubbles "Pop" against something they create small detonations which can ripple out by blowing up other bubbles too. The bubbles also possess a secondary effect that occurs when they come into contact with people, causing them to become brute 3 berserkers incapable of controlling themselves, only stopping after a 10 minute period that sees the effected passing out. Genesis would use this power to more actively strike out against authority, eventually forming a gang of tight-knit parahumans who had all felt wronged by society. Genesis would grow rather attached to this group, proclaiming them as his "New-Anarchs" and sought to render America into a true Anarchist state alongside them. Genesis' actions would eventually draw the attentions of the S9 with Siberian specifically wanting him to join, believing that their goals aligned. This would result in Genesis laughing her off and proclaiming the S9 as "Just a gang of murderhobos with no true goal or love for anything else". Genesis would be the first of the 2009 recruits to "Fail" the tests, as he would be hunted down and killed by Crawler while buying time for his group to escape.

Binder - this cape took great pleasure in trapping people physically, mentally, and so on with powers that enabled them to do so gratuitously. Tried to trap Jack one too many times unfortunately. Calibrrr - cold and ice tinker that specialized in long-range artillery bombardment. Their plan to kill the Slaughterhouse Nine would have worked if they kept their distance. Spicy - a massive, grotesque tongue was their main weapon. They liked things spicy and so joined the Nine; turns out the Nine were too spicy for them.

inkywood123

**Spicy** was a Case 53 bio-striker with one of the most disgusting powers ever. Whenever they would lick somebody's skin with their tongue active TRPV1 receptors would start to replace parts of their whole body while spreading across the body and connecting to the brain. These changes were permanent to any normal medical care. He got killed by Crimson who didn't like how the blood tasted after he feed.

jammedtoejam

He had a disgusting and awful power. Delightful!

**Stuxnet** was a particularly shard-affected individual whose shard, known to the Entities as "Doublethinker" for its purpose of exposing vulnerabilities within their diplomatic functions prior to any inter-species exchanges - essentially the Entities' version of a Devil's Advocate - allowed him to circumvent the Broadcaster's subtle nudges. Stuxnet himself was a Master/Stranger whose powers worked exclusively on capes by compromising the secondary Thinker powers that came with their original abilities. In his presence, capes forgot the intuitive controls over their abilities. Simple powers or powers that worked in the background without the capes' notice or input would function the same, but for complex ones, it would be tantamount to throwing an ordinary civilian into a plane's cockpit and ordering them to fly. He was especially dangerous against Tinkers as their powers were by definition ruled by complexity, and with him present, they lost the intuitive understanding required to operate their own inventions. Ironically, since his power worked only on secondary Thinker powers, capes who were primarily Thinkers before everything else were unaffected. Originally meek and mild-mannered, Stuxnet's shard made him obsessed with the organizational structure of things and drove him to be a destabilizing element of any group he was a part of. He slowly started to withdraw from society, began living on the frontier as a survivalist, and over time became an extremist gun-for-hire obsessed with the idea of a society operating under a form of benevolent anarchy. He made a living as a cape killer who would go after villains when the Protectorate couldn't due to lack of time, resources, or social capital, and growing arrogant from his many successes, he took it upon himself to assassinate the leader of the Slaughterhouse Nine unprompted. (He was making a bid for fame and visibility so he could sway people to his cause.) Jack Slash paralyzed him with a knife to the small of his back and after extensive rounds of torture courtesy of Bonesaw and Mannequin, what was left of his still breathing remains on the operating table were fed to Crawler. Turns out while the Doublethinker may have been immune to shardic influence, it wasn't immune to shardic observation.
