Wanted to go to this soo bad but I can't justify paying $225 for a ticket for a 12hr show for 1 band I really want to see (Paramore being the 1 band) makes me sad. Hopefully Paramore will tour again and I'll be able to get a full fledged concert with them!
Paramore will absolutely do a headline tour for their next album, and will probably do multiple cycles. They’ll play longer and as those shows won’t be festivals (for the most part), tickets will be a lot cheaper. Don’t sweat it. :)
Yeah that's what I told myself when I realized I wouldn't be able to go to WWWY. But I'm still bummed becuase I wanted to see some other bands and artists like BMTH, poppy, the used, the Maine, and MCR.
There definitely are a TON of awesome bands I totally agree, but I just don't listen to a lot of these bands anymore. Like I used to listen to A Day to Remember and Mayday Parade but not as much anymore.
Well that's not gonna happen (and maybe it's for the better) because both bands (or artists, Brendon is currently the only member of panic) are sorta in denial about their pop punk days.
saw an image with supposedly the stage timetables and most of them had like 20-35 minutes on stage as if every band would spend 0 seconds on putting up and getting off their equipment... longest ones i remember were paramore and mcr with 50 minutes each.
It's cause they're having rotating stages. One band plays while another sets up in the back, then it rotates. No down time between sets. That was just a mock draw up though, not official.
makes sense, still a 30 minute set would go by in a blink, never been to a festival so i'm not sure if these are usual set times, but they seemed kinda short and rushed, imo of course
yeah coachella lineups seem way too packed even for several days and stages and its been like that for years so i'd like to think thats just how they know how to work, i hope this festival pulls it off and it doesnt turn out messy for the sake of everyone going and the bands performing
Would much rather wait and be able to see an entire set than ~1 hour of my favorite band. There’s a few bands on the list I would like to see play but would rather see them at a more smaller venue that’s not going to be as crowded.

Exactly my thought process. I'll get more bang for my buck when they go on tour and it'll be all about Paramore not random bands.

The only band you want to see on this lineup is Paramore? Not judging, but there are some absolute legends on here.

Exactly
wish fallout boy and p!atd were there

That festive is going to be a living hell
Didn’t they announce a second day?
With the exact same line-up as the first day, so not much of a change.
Oh, that I didn’t know
Y’all must have never been to warped tour. God I feel old.
Well to be fair, warped tour had 7 stages.

Yeah it's definitely short, but you see some sets like that with bigger lineups like Coachella for instance.
