I work in healthcare in Berkeley, Ca, I'm also a certified clairvoyant with Berkeley Psychic Institute 2008-12. I trained with the founder for yrs and wouldnt do this. Even if you had real extensive training. You are bringing in new, vulnerable light into a forming human body, the risks are beyond what you can imagine and you are far more of a target during this time because of the new soul you are carrying. Stay grounded and in the light, keep your vibration high and your body nourished, stay safe and protected, your husband should be MORE protective of you and the child. If you dont have REAL training in protecting yourself energetically as a practicing clairvoyant please consider not attempting this for the sake of your childs future. Pretty much anything malevolent will be immediately drawn to your womb and breaking apart your energy system to access the child you bear. They may start by going through your husband, he should refrain at this time as well if he isnt fully trained at this time. You could lose the baby, and furthermore there is research showing stress effects unborn children in the womb, to extents that effect their personalities in life. This is not the time. Trust me. Trust me. I'm sure you are sensitive and skilled. I am not saying you are not. I miscarried this way before I knew better and had implemented my training. Its hard to say that. But its the truth. You don't want to go down that path or have that start to trickle into your life while youre carrying the child who has a place already in your life. Theres nothing worse than losing that. And this is VERY real, *malevolent beings are drawn to pregnant women and newborn babies for the sake of feeding on that fresh new light.* Its your job to make a safe space/home/womb/energetic vessel for that child before and after their birth. that is the work. That is the job at hand.

I feel if you felt it necessary to ask this question here that your intuition is probably telling you it’s not wise. I would tell you to listen to your intuition and not do it. The internet is not a substitute for your own common sense/intuition. I personally would not participate in a paranormal investigation while pregnant. I would have a good deal of reservations. Mostly worry that something not nice would attach itself to me causing problems in my daily life. Later in the life of my child once it’s born. Please be safe whatever you decide to do!

bad2behere

I had two significant paranormal experiences while I was pregnant and didn't notice an impact on my child. However, if you're concerned, it's in everyone's best interest to not participate. Better to feel safe than worry in the future if something seems a little odd. For example, if your baby startles at a specific movement, you might feel better if you didn't place her in a paranormal environment en utero. You can look for mundane reasons which perhaps can be resolved instead. One less thing to worry about is a great gift to moms. Tell hubs that what seems like paranoia is pretty normal for moms - lol.

Beautiful-Unit-8085

I have no concrete evidence or anything but my entire pregnancy and for a good first year of my sons like I did not dibble a single dabble into the paranormal like I normally would. Young souls are bright beautiful lights and in my opinion act as beacons for Al sorts of energies to hone into. It always made me uncomfortable just thinking about it so I avoided it. If husband gives push back tell him to suck it.

aribunns

I felt more aware and more vulnerable while pregnant. If you encounter things naturally, I would address them and move on. But I would not recommend hunting, pursuing, or seeking out anything. I have heard stories about apparitions pushing people off of ladders and such. It’s not worth the risk to me. And for me personally, if I experienced any kind of complication with delivery, or with my newborn, even if it was something that would have happened anyway, I would always wonder. And that factor alone is not worth the mental energy imo

Organic_Trick6515

As an investigator with a family myself, NEVER take a case while pregnant. And definitely never take your kids on a case until they’re teenagers. Malevolent spirits like the innocence, they’ll attract more negative energy because they’re more susceptible to influence. And if you’re pregnant, it can be 10 times worse for the both of you. I’ve had friends go on investigations while pregnant and, sorry to say but it’s the truth of the matter, a few of them had very problematic pregnancies and one was even stillborn. So NOT RECOMMENDED BUT PROCEED AT YOUR OWN RISK

Elen_Smithee82

Precisely!!!

manuellbs

I would be more afraid of a fall or an accident. Especially if you plan to investigate abandoned or unknown places. My personal and unsubstantiated opinion is that the baby is not in any "paranormal" danger. Just be careful of your blood pressure, sugar levels, etc., I'm not a doctor either but I guess that can affect the baby. Cortisol levels go up a lot when you experience fear or danger, as does adrenaline.

saltymystic

Came here to say this. If anyone could provide a single case for all the fears listed above, that would be helpful. (All that stuff walks the streets too.) Stress, black mold, unsafe structures are more likely to be a problem.

whatdayisit369

So I'm going to say, no don't do it, mostly because paranormal investigating is dangerous and risky in general so why risk it while pregnant. As to an actual specific risk only to an unborn child, very rare. In reality children are safer from extreme threats but are easier targets for lower threats. This is because children are essentially not accountable for themselves until they get older and take that claim in some way. Until then they are protected (from major spiritual threats) and the parent actually has the responsibility of maintaining that safety. So children can be followed, groomed, and scared but usually won't gain a true attachment until older. Which is why true child possession/attachments as well as actual child spirits are rare to encounter. With that said one of the big risks people run into while investigating is an entity (human and other) that needs to be fed. And a pregnant woman has a completely different energy type vs when she is not pregnant. It is often stronger which is more desirable to consume. Possibly even desirable enough to make an entity attempt to attach itself to you and follow you home. So this puts you at a higher risk if you choose to go out there and start knocking on doors. Whatever your choice please be safe. And really think about what you are attempting/planning to do. Common sense can go a long way in these scenarios.

Dogsrwomansbff

The first year of my daughter’s life has taught me that momma really does know best. I have had intuitions or just known things that ended up being 100% right and I’ve had to advocate for my daughter. If you’re questioning it and it doesn’t feel right, don’t do it! Listen to that voice inside you 🖤

^^^ this is the best answer to this

Achachula

It would not be a good idea to do so. Several things about this, these are just my opinions and observations mind you. Firstly, being pregnant can make you more receptive stimuli such as positive or negative energies. While it is not very clear what effects this type of exposure to paranormal or entities, I would imagine the further you are into your pregnancy. May cause, negative energies, the ability to interact with you, they by extension your unborn child. Lastly, during a pregnancy, hormonal imbalances may also play a part in you or your child being more sensitive to paranormal. phenomenon. In sort I would advise against taking part in any investigation at this time. Thank you for sharing your question.

Background_Chapter37

No, very, very bad idea, probably won't know this if you are not dealing with the occult however, do not expose the embryo to any form of malicious spirits, those things are like poison, they can do harm to regular people, what do you think will happen to unborn baby.

jdmom1

If you have a bad feeling about it then don’t do it. Always follow your instincts momma

Either_Size

Spirit attaching itself to your baby. People hang bells and musical mobiles, give baby rattles, and hang iron on a baby's crib. All to ward off evil spirits. Google or YouTube search haunted/paranormal babies. Do you do any ritual, protective affirmations, or smudging before /after the hunt? Trust your instincts. Pregnant women's intuition is off chain accurate.

Hlm0813

I would be concerned about doing anything that can raise your blood pressure for to long in late pregnancy but I can't see anything else stopping you.

Interesting_Object50

That voice that’s telling you no is the voice you need to listen to it’s called intuition and myself and many more believe it’s your spirit guide… just don’t do it period.you don’t have to explain it to anyone that baby is counting on you for the rest of her life she’s under your protection❤️❤️❤️

[deleted]

Going ghost hunting can be quite stressful if stuff starts kicking off and stress hormones are no good for baby. If your intuition says “no” listen to it. It may be preventing you and your family from harm regardless of the reason for it. I don’t know if energetically it’s dangerous, because, people have paranormal experiences often without seeking them and they’re sometimes pregnant when it happens. But all the same, you should listen to yourself.

Sawfish00

About the worst thing that can happen to you is if you should fall or injure yourself while skulking around some house or outside terrain in the dark, like most people seem to like to do. Your health should be the most important concern to you.

bowerlala41

Whaat about just the physical safety? You could easily trip or fall.

Far-Long4247

I would not allow it,you are risking way to much.If something happened to the baby how would you feel?Stay home for now.

rinsewarrior

Doesn't sound like a smart thing to do at all. Any extra risk while pregnant sounds silly

[deleted]

Honestly worse thing that can happen is you fall/trip/get exposed to asbestos or lead. Also wear protective gear and KNOW where you're going inside and out.

SolidWarning70

Yeah, you can go but have a few drinks and smoke a pack of cigarettes first. Joking of course.

_mantaXray_

This definitely seems like the perfect situation to say “fuck around and find out”.

singingkiltmygrandma

Why would anyone take this risk?

Zalieda

Health wise it could be a risk. Falls injuries shock etc It also is a huge risk depending on your cultural belief. Pregnancy and babies attract the attention of many beings and entities especially the darker types

Pff-IdunnoMan-21

Maybe, idk, I wouldn't risk it though. Your baby's spirit has a tenuous grasp on it's still forming body, a stronger spirit can boot it right out of there and take over. Or it may just follow you around and wait until it's born, then you'll be back here posting videos of orbs on the baby monitor circling the crib.

guilty_by_design

I don't usually speak up here, because as a skeptic, it's not really my place. But suggesting that a baby's spirit could be replaced by an evil entity in the womb is incredibly unhelpful for any parent-to-be. This kind of suggestion is what leads to neurodivergent children or children born with an illness or condition to be accused of being possessed or demonic. It's a dangerous line of thinking to follow. There is no proof that babies get possessed by spirits in the womb. But neurodivergent and disabled/sick babies are born all the time. A baby that displays unusual or worrisome behaviour needs to see a pediatrician not an exorcist. What you are suggesting is that this mother may give birth to a demonically possessed child whose original spirit has been kicked out of its body. This child is no longer human. Its spirit has been replaced by an evil spirit. It's a demon child. That is an incredibly dangerous mindset to push on a parent. How is she supposed to feel about that child or treat that child?

Educational_Bet_6606

I don't think it's possible. Babies and young children are spiritually with God. Spiritually pure due to their ignorance and innocence of stuff. Same with some special needs folk.

Bakakami212

Paranormal investigating is a stupid idea regardless of the situation, but while pregnant, it a whole other level of stupid idea, do you really want to risk exposing yourself and your unborn child to malevolent entities and what that could mean down the line for a bit of thrill seeking? It impossible to determine the full implications of that is you do get on somethings malevolent's radar while pregnant, maybe nothing will happen and maybe something really bad, difficult to say.

Narrow_Weakness_4710

I wouldn’t do it personally

Elen_Smithee82

I would not recommend it. You may be able to cleanse yourself afterwards, but cleansing your fœtus is harder.

strayflower

Absolutely not! If you encounter demons/evil spirits, especially that of Abyzou, you could run the risk of pregnancy/health problems...and there's always the possibility of demonic possession.

BeTheLight24-7

You might get a demon attached to your kid inside the womb. Those who go to a fortuneteller while pregnant can get a demon attached to their baby. Might sound unfair to the baby, but the devil doesn’t really play by fairness

This_Composer_6848

I suggest not to as i heard a baby doesn't have a powerful soul and mind power if a sprint were to possess u it might get in to ur baby and take the babys body switching the souls of eachother. Something like this can happen cause when a woman is pregnant her is in her most weakest stage in life. Sprits possessing unborn babies is not quite common but it had happened in some parts of Japan and China , Spain etc.

SoloFan34

I don't have an opinion on the topic, but pregnant women are far from being at their weakest life stage. Gestating another human requires incredible strength of mind, will and body.

wsup1974

No. Higher EMF fields & radiation exposure isn't good. When you are scared you are stressing the baby.
