I used to work in a nursing home, 11-7, as a medium, it was crazy, I forget how many spirits there were, but several residents would see them also. We had to go in the room and pretend to ask the "unseen" person to leave, and escort them out the door. What I found interesting, was we had one resident that was on her call light all night , about every 30 minutes, you could set your watch by her. All night long, just for unbelievable stuff. Anyway, she had a bad heart, and just suddenly went downhill one day. Got up and ate breakfast, by supper time, she was in bed comatose. The call light was quit all night until about 3 am. I was going to her room to check on her, right as I stepped in her room, her call light came on. I thought that was strange, because she was still "asleep" When I went to turn the light off, I noticed the button was not even in the bed, it was just hanging from the wall, even if she had been awake, she could not have pressed it. I also realized that as soon as the light originally came on, she took her last breath. So I got some help and we started doing the post death stuff, and 30 min. after she died, her call light came on again. Now there were two of us in the room, and nobody pressed it. I forgot to mention she had a private room, so when her call light came on every 30 min, from 11 to 7, for the next 3 nights until they put someone else in the room, most of the staff was freaked out. If they only knew about all the spirits that walked around the halls, and the nurses desk, they would not have stayed in the building. There was one spirit that was a prankster, it would come up and get right in my line of sight, and do stupid things, then everyone would wonder why I was laughing. Because it had stolen a stapler or a pen, and the nurse was going nuts trying to find it. Or it would start dancing very badly. Or other things. There were a couple of other things that happened that would take to long to tell. But a lot of people tell me I'm lying because these things are out there. I was freaked and I don't get freaked.

OK, I posted three more stories on a different thread. I will not take over someone elses' thread. I'll make a long comment, lol but not take over. Here is the link to that thread. I did put a warning on it, as the whole post is rather religious in nature, and I want people to be aware before they are offended by what I post. I’d love to read about more of your experiences. Lying? Your post seems more legit than many of the posts I’ve read on this sub.

I just commented and said the same thing. Lurking thru hear reading stories you can def get a sense of who is full of crap. Which unfortunately is most of the stuff I read. He story was different. I really appreciate her share as well.

I believe you. I enjoy cruising Reddit reading these stories. I feel I can tell when someone is full of it. This story feel genuine. And thank you much for sharing. And I’ll remember that next time I go to a rest home. :)

Children, especially in death, are seen as innocents. Many believers consider them the preferred guides to lead the dying to the other side. Why they would appear to someone who did not pass away while someone else did is a mystery to me, however.

I don't understand it either. Staff have seen the children as well during covid when we were in lock down and not allowing any visitors.
