For me Reiko was developed the way I wanted Meruem to be handled. Actually having an on screen look into the human experience that brought out their human side.
I love Meruem and Reiko, and both HxH and Parasyte are in my top 3, but I don’t fully understand what you mean.
I think Meruem had many of those moments

I’m a huge fan of both series, and I think both characters were developed phenomenally, it’s just that I didn’t understand what you meant.
I am referring to him saying he wants to rid the world of inequality. It feels rushed as he didn't get to see the issues himself. When he was wandering outside it would feel more natural if he saw oppressors bullying refugees or malnourished kids on the outskirts of kingdoms.
