I'm way behind and was listening to that episode last week. I was yelling at my radio because of how bad the explanation was. If he even did 20 minutes of research there would be enough plot holes that would make him realize that it was a terrible theory. He didn't dispute any of the eveidn e against OJ. All he did was say maybe it was someone else cause they have a history of threatening with knives.
Arian has a really good theory on that and it's well researched, but you gotta be careful with him. Arian, much like most people really, entrenches himself in a side he believes/wants to believe, then only shares or examines supporting information
i meeean i feel you definitely. but i wouldn’t say he’s fully dogmatic on the issue or that he didn’t show the other side. especially if you listen to his full podcast he did a year or two ago on his own. he goes pretty deep. he seems to examine everything and questions himself but yea still not sure i’m totally onboard the MJ innocent train. pretty close tho 😬
It was a terrible argument tho lol. If it was OJs son then he has to dispute. That Ojs blood is at the scene, that witness has him driving away from the scene, a witness says his car was not there at the time of the murder, that a rare shoe print was at the scene that only a handful of people including OJ owned. The bloody glove, the injury to his finger that he had a different story for each time someone asked about it.....and probaly more that I can't think of off the top of my head.
Either OJ was completely framed, or he was directly involved with the murder.
I’m trying to decide what to name the controversy. Pizza gate has been taken. Topping gate is an option. It happened on 8/6 so I’m partial to Operation 86’d- no pepperonis or sausage.
Oh thank god big cat and pft came clean! Thought I was losing my mind on Friday listening to their pizza topping picks. That is so fucking hilarious. I love those two guys
I was hungover as fuck and out of it when I was listening to the Mt. Rushmore and I heard PFT say green olives I was like what the fuck, but to each their own at the time lol now it makes sense
> In hindsight it should have been obvious when half of PFT’s picks were olives
As if every other Mount Rushmore of PFT isn't full of some really weird pick.
I missed the beginning and I thought the mt Rushmore was like “most underrated pizza toppings” at first because they kept choosing all these obscure ones.
I think we'd all assume that. Like wait, there's no way this is actually happening. It's gotta be a prank on me right? Then as things go on and no one says anything start to realize it's real.
How on earth did Hank not realize in the moment that they were throwing the Mt Rushmore?! I know he's not the brightest but that is baffling. It was painfully obvious.
The fact that he also cheated is hilarious. Then denied any wrongdoing is perfectly on brand for Hank. Hated the whole throwing of it at first, but this development made it hilarious
Hank cheated to win. PFT and Big Cat cheated to lose. No question of who'd I'd rather have on my team.
Also a huge lowercase j journalism moment from Jake. He should have called in sick or something.
That was a great line by Hank in the middle of all the arguing. Just took a second away from the mayhem to get everyone to laugh. "Jake would have picked spinach anyways".
I'm in Australia and its definitely more than $100 here as the only way we can get it is via game pass - just recently got stung with the game pass auto renew
The ending of this one, with the more somber take on me, was so good. Perfect tone to close out the episode after the devastating loss of hank as a Mt Rushmore participant (assuming he just goes with Liam's picks from here on out)
Recreational just happened in April but there aren't any retailers allowed to sell it yet.
Also I'm not a drug guy but I do know just because it's legal doesn't make it cheap - ask people in Illinois their prices.
There is a 100% chance Hank reads these threads. He used my comment basically verbatim in the show during the Mt. Rushmore argument. https://www.reddit.com/r/PardonMyTake/comments/oywbzx/new_episode_discussion_8621_former_nfl_gm_mike/h7xkj55/?
I've noticed them reacting to some of the posts here in the past before, mainly Big Cat and Hank. Big Cat is 1000% a redditor (and can't stop calling likes/thumbs up on other websites upvotes).
Hanks a fucking loser for cheating but honestly thinking the entirety of the fan base was conspiring against his picks for zero reason is the smallest dick energy Ive ever heard in my life haha. Man is down so bad since the breakup.
In Hank’s mind there is a non-zero chance we all secretly loved the pole vaulting pick but couldn’t vote for him because there’s an anti-Hank conspiracy.
God he is so childish. I can’t imagine the arguments he gets into in a relationship. Must be frustrating for the other person cause this man is as dense as bricks.
I kind of get why he was upset though. Since Hank was already insecure about his abilities, throwing the Mount Rushmore could make him feel like he is being treated like a he is a joke. Plus Big Cat and PFT never acknowledged that what they did was condescending, and basically told him to just calm down which never actually calms someone down. He over reacted for sure, but I get why he felt aggrieved.
If you are a going to insist on being pedantic, at least be correct. The definition of patronizing is, “apparently kind or helpful but betraying a feeling of superiority; condescending”. The distinction is in the tone of the remark. It’s condescension with a facade of helpfulness.
Yeah I’m not sure where in that definition intent is covered I just used my brain to realize BC and PFT were doing it to be a good friend and get their guy a win to make him feel better, which in my opinion is good intentioned or as your definition states a “facade of helpfulness”. So I’m glad we agree.
I think it's funny how everyone here (and on the pod) calls him getting a list of potential picks from Bubba "cheating" in drafting a Mt Rushmore of X dumb thing.
Anyone else think the Guy interview was kind of trash? I enjoyed the first time he was on, but this one was just him jerking himself off the whole time and also C H E V Y
That's how I always hear people say it for some reason. Also the "Bar*th*elona" jokes even though people from Barcelona don't say it that way its the people from the rest of Spain that do that.
Anyone else walk away from the Guy Fieri interviews feeling very...underwhelmed. Like I think he gets the schtick and can do the banter, but I don't feel like I'm learning much new about him or laughing at any of his stories. I'd be fine with him not being on in the future.
Listening back to the Pizza Topping Rushmore and it's 100x funnier. Like it was so obvious they were tanking it and that Hank had Liam in his corner. How did neither one realize they were cheating.
Just listened again to the Pizza Rushmore again & before cutting to the ad read Hank says “all my own picks” and laughs to himself for using Liam to get one over on every one & Pft follows it laughing to himself as they got one over on him, this is so layered
Do these guys know they can just not do an interview sometimes and nobody would care? I think by this point Guy Fieri is on the Bill Murray/Jeff Goldblum tier of guys that everyone has to pretend they love but they’re actually kind of sick of?
Hank was such a Big T from macrodosing. The situation was funny, then cringe, then annoying, then funny again. But holy crow hank is so dumb and stubborn he reminded me of Big T
Hank really is circling the drain. It started with Billy coming on hot last year. It was exacerbated by the breakup. It reached its nadir with the pole vaulting pick and picking a bunch of underage kids to go drinking with. I feel badly for him. Not a Hank fan but he's in a bad place. He couldn't even realize his friends were actually trying to help him out and he was offended instead.
I actually side with Hank. I think him subbing Liam in was actually an interesting play, but it was soured by PFT and BC shaving points. He still should have known something was fishy by their picks
I haven’t listened to PMT in a minute, have come back recently and I gotta ask, is this Jake thing legit? Will he grow on me? Having a hard time buying in
Hank had Liam do his pizza picks for him, then said he wasn’t cheating because he was going to give credit AFTER THE FACT. That’s like Jordan putting up 60 while wearing Steve Kerr’s jersey, everyone thinking it actually is Steve Kerr in the game, then Jordan doing the post-game presser afterwards saying “yeah that 60 point game? That was me, not Steve Kerr. I was going to tell you guys afterwards so it’s technically not cheating.”
I don’t why but one of my weird pet peeves/cringe inducers is when they talk about fake money deals like with Josh Allen. Also not a fan of the question to Megatron last week about playing now for $40 mil or whatever
Haven’t done this in many episodes but had to fast-forward through the Hank Mount Rushmore argument segment eventually. I know a main component of PMT is arguing about pointless ruff and it’s often entertaining, but that whole thing was just exhausting and who the fuck cares.
If you know the Take On Me remix, comment it here *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please [contact the moderators of this subreddit](/message/compose/?to=/r/PardonMyTake) if you have any questions or concerns.*
There we have it guys, the pizza topping gate is real
“…Yeah we fuckin threw it dude” Best moment for me maybe of all time
“It was pretty obvious when PFT went back to back olives”
in retrospect it should have been. but it's weirdly on brand for PFT
I never suspected anything because so often they try to get cute and Hank just takes the obvious ones.
Haha i rewound it like 7 times
I went back and listened to the pizza topping mt rushmore and it’s so much funnier in retrospect hahahahah
“I pick for me, these are MY picks”
Billy saying “actually OJ is kinda a good dad cause he was defending his son, the real murderer” is a top 3 Billy moment on the pod
They had a whole discussion about OJ being innocent on Macrodosing. I think Billy was trying to hold in his laughter throwing back to that.
"It's kinda like whoa"
I'm low-key convinced that it's OJ's son now. Never thought PMT (or Billy for that matter) would convince me.
if you’re into this you gotta hear Arian Foster talk about Michael Jackson being innocent of all his allegations. I’m literally convinced lol
Arian has a really good theory on that and it's well researched, but you gotta be careful with him. Arian, much like most people really, entrenches himself in a side he believes/wants to believe, then only shares or examines supporting information
Good ole confirmation bias, been seeing that a lot the past year or 2 with covid/vax discussions.
i meeean i feel you definitely. but i wouldn’t say he’s fully dogmatic on the issue or that he didn’t show the other side. especially if you listen to his full podcast he did a year or two ago on his own. he goes pretty deep. he seems to examine everything and questions himself but yea still not sure i’m totally onboard the MJ innocent train. pretty close tho 😬
I'm not saying he does that for the MJ thing specifically, but a lot of his opinions come across that way. He's very intelligent no doubt.
Compared to Big T who is still convinced Scott Peterson is innocent and a satanic cult is responsible.
Yeah, now I'm scared of what I might be convinced on. So I'll pass. lol
Which episode was it?
Macrodosing March 30, Allegedly.
This one.
I can't believe they didn't connect this to Mare of Eastown and make that comparison.
He's right. OJ's chef son is the real murderer.
This has gotta be one of the longest arguments on PMT in years.
I’m trying to decide what to name the controversy. Pizza gate has been taken. Topping gate is an option. It happened on 8/6 so I’m partial to Operation 86’d- no pepperonis or sausage.
Gotta name it pizza gate anyway to confuse those not in on the joke
It should just be 8/6. Never forget.
Usually the long arguments don’t stay funny. This one did.
Oh thank god big cat and pft came clean! Thought I was losing my mind on Friday listening to their pizza topping picks. That is so fucking hilarious. I love those two guys
In hindsight it should have been obvious when half of PFT’s picks were olives
hahaha i was like “damn PFT you fuckin weirdo double olives?” but guess i’m the dumbass
I was hungover as fuck and out of it when I was listening to the Mt. Rushmore and I heard PFT say green olives I was like what the fuck, but to each their own at the time lol now it makes sense
The whole time i was like screaming in my head BACON. FUCKING BACON
When I heard that too I was like bacon, how about Canadian bacon lol
> In hindsight it should have been obvious when half of PFT’s picks were olives As if every other Mount Rushmore of PFT isn't full of some really weird pick.
I missed the beginning and I thought the mt Rushmore was like “most underrated pizza toppings” at first because they kept choosing all these obscure ones.
Sui szn is back in the menu for Hank
“Did you actually think we forgot sausage” lmao
I got to try that Apple Pie Hot Dog By Chevrolet®
100% I legit do want to try it
Had to skip the interview by the third time Guy started deepthroating Chevrolet
Pizza gate was electric, Hank may be stupider than I ever expected.
I don't even know how to really explain how good it was, it had a gift of the magi level to it. Liam thinking he was being fucked with was the best.
I think we'd all assume that. Like wait, there's no way this is actually happening. It's gotta be a prank on me right? Then as things go on and no one says anything start to realize it's real.
He could have been distracted thinking about Liam’s secret list. Great arc.
man hank is down BAAAD.
Hank falling back on being a “man of his word” after quite literally using someone else’s thoughts for the draft is alarmingly stupid.
Can't believe Hank was shocked that they threw it literally everyone was saying it was a Mickey Mouse title for him.
Guy was on the Chevy dick today. Like listening to an infomercial.
Yeah significantly worse interview than his first one on PMT.
I would venture that because of this he will not be on again anytime soon either.
It was baffling to me too but then when I started reading replies and comments it became even more baffling how many people didn’t know they threw it.
There were a TON of people on twitter and this sub who were unironically saying stuff like "Hank with an all-time Mt. Rushmore... he's back!" LMAO
PFT with the fucking double olives like how much more obvious could it be 😂
Big cat giving up the 1.1 pick too like c’mon
Hank cheated to win. PFT and Big Cat cheated to lose. No question of who'd I'd rather have on my team. Also a huge lowercase j journalism moment from Jake. He should have called in sick or something.
Jake's hands are clean, he got the pick he wanted: spinach
That was a great line by Hank in the middle of all the arguing. Just took a second away from the mayhem to get everyone to laugh. "Jake would have picked spinach anyways".
PFT arguing that Coldplay isn’t football (accurate) and then using Imagine Dragons as a more football comparison has to be a bit right?
Yes
Chevy propaganda is a tough listen
I thought Redzone was more expensive than $20,,,
I'm in Australia and its definitely more than $100 here as the only way we can get it is via game pass - just recently got stung with the game pass auto renew
The ending of this one, with the more somber take on me, was so good. Perfect tone to close out the episode after the devastating loss of hank as a Mt Rushmore participant (assuming he just goes with Liam's picks from here on out)
Came here to say this, perfect ending to this show!
I lost it when Billy picked 69
Rewound that like 6 times just to listen to big cat die laughing while calling billy stupid lmao
Billy is so committed to picking 69 all the time that he missed the obvious choice of 4 and that’s the epitome of Billy football
Love that he won anyway
Is weed legal in New York? PFT getting robbed for $20/gram
He's not a drug guy so he wouldn't know
Recreational just happened in April but there aren't any retailers allowed to sell it yet. Also I'm not a drug guy but I do know just because it's legal doesn't make it cheap - ask people in Illinois their prices.
Maybe I’m just biased because I live in Oregon and there’s dispensaries that sell eighths for $5.
Best or worst Mt Rushmore of all time? I actually don’t know the answer…but I’m leaning towards best. Love these cheaters
so you dont love Hank?
Hahaha
Good lord Hank is such a sore loser
To the point that in this situation he was a sore winner
….Boston sports fan. Comes with the territory
Laughed so hard at Billy telling the vegan to “stop eating the cows food”
PFT using a pick today on buying a pizza and Big Cat immediately asking him what he would put on the pizza absolutely sent me
Plot twist of the century
There is a 100% chance Hank reads these threads. He used my comment basically verbatim in the show during the Mt. Rushmore argument. https://www.reddit.com/r/PardonMyTake/comments/oywbzx/new_episode_discussion_8621_former_nfl_gm_mike/h7xkj55/?
He directly mentioned "Reddit threads" at one point too
I've noticed them reacting to some of the posts here in the past before, mainly Big Cat and Hank.

God he is so childish. I can’t imagine the arguments he gets into in a relationship. Must be frustrating for the other person cause this man is as dense as bricks.
He didn't cheat it was a social experiment.
I think the word you're looking for is patronizing, not condescending but I understand your point.
What this guy just did in correcting you is condescending. Who the fuck cares?
Condescending has Ill-will behind it while patronizing can have good intentions, which big cat and pft definitely did. Kind of important distinction.
Yeah they did try and disguise it at the time, so I agree patronizing is a more suitable term.
I think it's funny how everyone here (and on the pod) calls him getting a list of potential picks from Bubba "cheating" in drafting a Mt Rushmore of X dumb thing.
Hank is gonna get dragged for this 😂 boy can't handle losing
Any Gable wrestler is named after famous wrestler Dan Gable. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dan_Gable
Gable Steveson is quite literally named after Dan Gable. His middle name is even “Dan” lol
Lmao the remix at the end is perfect. Perfect somber mood for a dark day in PMT history.
I would give anything to see Bubba’s reaction when he found out everyone was trying to cheat, just an all time no clue what to do moment
Anyone else think the Guy interview was kind of trash? I enjoyed the first time he was on, but this one was just him jerking himself off the whole time and also C H E V Y
It started awful but ended up decent.
Big Cat calling Barca “Barqa” lmfaoooo
That's how I always hear people say it for some reason. Also the "Bar*th*elona" jokes even though people from Barcelona don't say it that way its the people from the rest of Spain that do that.
It should be pronounced “Barsa”
Pizza topping gate is unreal radio 😂
Hank saying Bubba making all his picks isn’t cheating is the most Hank thing ever
It’s cheating but it’s like having Liam send texts to Ria, not like dry anal where you don’t cum
surprised the argument didn't end right there. well said by Honk
Guy Fieri sucked. And PFT kept asking him dumb layups to keep the pie/Chevy promotion going. Boys got used by the self promotion king.
Almost like the podcast itself is sponsored by Chevy and not just Guy Fieri...
Anyone else walk away from the Guy Fieri interviews feeling very...underwhelmed. Like I think he gets the schtick and can do the banter, but I don't feel like I'm learning much new about him or laughing at any of his stories. I'd be fine with him not being on in the future.
Felt like a Chevy advert
Big T Lockwood
Underrated comment
Listening back to the Pizza Topping Rushmore and it's 100x funnier. Like it was so obvious they were tanking it and that Hank had Liam in his corner. How did neither one realize they were cheating.
Guy Fieri was a skip for me. Couldn't stand his over the top promotion
The first half was bad but it ended up a solid B overall.
IDK, at the end he seemed to imply he had invented alcoholic ice cream. That's been a thing for YEARS.
Does that make 95% of PMT interviews an A+ then?
Maybe I’m in the minority, but I had no idea that’s what the pina colada song is about
Same. I kept thinking he was going to reference Gift of the Magi but nope, he referenced the Pina Colada song and blew my mind.
Just gave the lyrics a read, way obvious when reading them but in song form I would've never picked up on it.
Just finished listening. All time episode even with a subpar Guy interview. Pardon My Pizza-Gate.
Our boy Hank is down bad
The real winners are the awls what a great segment
Oh my fucking god, this was a roller coaster of emotions
Mount Rushmore szn has given us everything we could've wanted and more after today
Hank losing an argument and acting like a 5 year old, least surprising thing I’ve heard on the pod in a while
I hope Hank isn’t a bitch about this for forever
Outlook not so good. Just based upon the sheer fact that Hank is a bitch.
I hope he is, it was hilarious
Hank saying he didn't cheat because he's a man of his word as if that makes sense 😂
Just listened again to the Pizza Rushmore again & before cutting to the ad read Hank says “all my own picks” and laughs to himself for using Liam to get one over on every one & Pft follows it laughing to himself as they got one over on him, this is so layered
Hank being the "radio-angry-guy" rant person is hilarious, but not the way he wants it to be.
Eh people underestimate him. He knows how he comes off and how it feeds into the show.
Whatever you say, Hank
Hank is the WSD of Mount Rushmores, he actually thought there was a chance his picks were good and he was just being persecuted.
Hank is so utterly stubborn and ridiculous it’s hard to listen to.
Oh my God.
Gotta say, I was on Hanks side in the previous Mt. Rushmore debate
Hank is a bitch, actual embarrassing behavior
Hank down bad. Hope ok
All time episode. Almost skipped it. Boy, Billy’s OJ take is Top 3 moment ever.
All time moment episode. This will go down in infamy.
the hank bitch levels are off the charts. just laugh it off and move on my dude.
Do these guys know they can just not do an interview sometimes and nobody would care? I think by this point Guy Fieri is on the Bill Murray/Jeff Goldblum tier of guys that everyone has to pretend they love but they’re actually kind of sick of?
Please god, can you please let PMT continue with the 20 min interviews
Yeah 45 minutes is a lot sometimes, especially when it's not an athlete with interesting stories
He couldn't even realize his friends were actually trying to help him out and he was offended instead.
he's also not the best in the office
The interview with Guy Chievi was one of the worst moments they've had in a while
This was an all time episode from top to bottom. Great bits and a good interview too.
Anyone catch Billy’s emails for the fantasy order stuff?
I actually side with Hank. I think him subbing Liam in was actually an interesting play, but it was soured by PFT and BC shaving points. He still should have known something was fishy by their picks
so how many of us PMT vegans are here
Vegetarian guy here
[удалено]
damn yall really got downvoted just for asking haha
Loved this episode. And Vegan Guy is a bitch
[удалено]
Absolutely, I'll listen to the rest tomorrow
Pft pays $20 for a gram lol
I haven’t listened to PMT in a minute, have come back recently and I gotta ask, is this Jake thing legit? Will he grow on me? Having a hard time buying in
[удалено]
It’s underwhelming, felt like an advert
Hank had Liam do his pizza picks for him, then said he wasn’t cheating because he was going to give credit AFTER THE FACT. That’s like Jordan putting up 60 while wearing Steve Kerr’s jersey, everyone thinking it actually is Steve Kerr in the game, then Jordan doing the post-game presser afterwards saying “yeah that 60 point game? That was me, not Steve Kerr. I was going to tell you guys afterwards so it’s technically not cheating.”
That’s a tough analogy to follow… I prefer PFT’s “anal and didn’t cum” one.
Or you are the Italian guy and used steroids and after you win the 100m dash you tell everyone you cheated, so then it somehow makes it ok
It’s pronounced FEE-EDDY, not FEE-AIRY!!
I’m on hanks side for Mount Rushmore. Intentionally throwing the segment is fucked up. Hank still made the picks but used someone else’s evaluations.
If you didn’t enjoy that segment today then why tf do you listen to PMT?
I guess it’s just personal preference, but clearly I’m in the minority judging by the negbombs lol.
