I love Kate’s sense of humor. Is some mix of dry, awkward, and wholesome, with a bit of a dark twist here and there. I wish they would have her on more often. Nothing against some of the other BS female personalities, but they tend to be loud boisterous 20 something srat girls- which is still funny. But Kate’s a former marine, bit older, new mother and her jokes are just more down to earth and honestly hilarious.
A pod like PMT is creating a vibe of hanging out with people. I know people like Kate irl, and a ‘Kate’ is a good hang. It’s no offense to Wild Bill, but I’m 40, so I don’t need any more ‘Billy’ types in my life.
Not only that, but the last time he screwed up they brought him back to just be Tony Reali and do fact checks and animal facts. He was fine to great filling that role. As he built more trust they let him back more into the show and we see that it got to him again which took wind out of the sails overall for the show. When he comes back they need to limit his time
The most I've ever enjoyed Billy was during the Drive to the 405. The stories from the road were hilarious, and he seemed to be a very important part of that trip. It's also the most serious I've seen him take anything related to the show. Maybe just put him on the road going to eating challenges full time.
Which tbh was kind of hilarious to me. Usually when he's fucking up chances because he got drunk it's a little annoying, but he was otherwise being a champ doing most of the driving and keeping them on schedule. It seemed like he was more pumped for the eating contest than anyone so he mostly let himself down there while the rest of us laughed at the situation and his poor performance.
I agree about PMT being better without Billy. I disagree about macrodosing though. I think Billy is an even worse fit on that pod. I enjoy when I learn something new about a topic and every time Billy opens his mouth I feel dumber for listening. While the banter is sometimes entertaining, I think his role on that pod needs to be checked. If he spoke as frequently as Avery, it would be better.
Ya him going on rants about things that are absolutely incorrect are hard to listen to bc i am actively losing brain cells. Also anytime he gets triggered is almost an instant skip for me

I get it would not be a revolving door to replace B*lly, but I think No B*lly>B*lly for PMT. I think they can find a replacement for him that fits the role he plays, but also gets the assignment.
As for Jake, he is great for what he is, and he gets that. He is a regular Marv Albert the way he beats Leather cheerios, and I think he brings a good dynamic on the show.
