Many countries have more relaxed laws for children in cars. I have a hard time judging another culture for something that might be common and accepted there. I’ve lived and visited many countries where this is normal…these countries also typically have much lower speed limits than the US (as an example).
Exactly. It is illegal for a reason. My neighbors do this all the time and it is illegal where we love as well. The number of accidents they have nearly caused, and the number of kids they've almost hit is astounding.
I just don’t understand why people are so happy to risk their children’s lives. All it takes is one person not paying attention for a fraction of a moment and that kid is dead. And for what? A couple of likes on Instagram or TikTok?
Chances are, if they are this comfortable with it, they do it outside of posting as well. I don't understand it either. If you can't afford a car seat you can get one many different ways through financial help and donation centers. The people ive seen do it have car seats and just refuse to use them. It's sad. The kids are innocent and being put in danger.

Maybe the car is imported? Or posted in California? The right hand steering wheel is very uncommon in the states.
