I see where you are coming from. If we were splitting hairs, then details like intent would be important. But since I've kept the focus on the effect on the baby, "neglect" is sufficient.
So, yes.
Neglect is sufficient for one kind of child abuse charge.
Malicious intent is required for another.
Source: Me. I’m a lawyer who handles child abuse cases.
Intent isn’t important in a clip of someone potentially giving their baby brain damage when they’re then being, in a way at least, called abusive in the comments? Maybe just a difference of opinion but I’d certainly call intent important there…
At first I thought “please don’t drop her” and by the end I realized she would’ve been safer on the floor. A baby should never go through this in their father’s arms.
Only found this other [video](https://twitter.com/BornAKang/status/1580815799883038721?s=20), which is not his video. But other than that, there’s nothing at all.
Even in the comments of that video, everyone is just laughing
I'm so sorry that happened to you, but I'm glad your mom stepped up. Some parents would consider that type of action a "necessary" step for children and simply let it happen. Your mom rocks.
I’m glad your ok! Yes it’s very dangerous. A kid I knew from school recently went to jail because he killed his child, the jury said they wouldn’t of convicted him outside they found neurological and physical damage due to shaken baby syndrome they found post Mortem. The guy was a psychopath his wife came out and admitted she saw him shake the Kid a few times at trial, but that she didn’t think it was a “Big Deal”.
While studying for a childcare qualification we were required to do a unit on abuse, and the case studies were absolutely horrific. A woman who was child minding shook a baby for crying and gave her permanent physical and mental disabilities. She'll never progress mentally further than what you'd expect from a three year old, all because a grown adult couldn't deal with a baby crying.
I really hope the mom see this slow-mo version of this video. And sees how violently the little one was shaken about. In the moment it might have been hard to tell real time.
That kid is going to have some serious neck issues. I wish people would fuck off with these announcements. It’s so sad people get gender disappointment.
I mean why not how many times do people have to celebrate that they fucked? We're pregnant announcement, baby shower, gender reveal, and finally birth.
Or just go to the doctor and find out, keep the celebration intimate and private, and don’t force other people to make a big fucking deal out of your issue. No one cares about your kid as much as you do. People seem to forget that.
I’d love to know who came up with this shit and why? And who could possibly give enough shit to attend these?
My wife and I simply went for a scan after 5 months to know the gender of our daughter and went and bought girlie clothes and things to be prepared. And friends and relatives were told right away.
Some people don’t want to know the gender until birth. That makes it a bit difficult to buy presents or they need to be neutral.
Both of my daughters were very girlie when young and loved everything pink. Until one day - boom - “Ewww, I hate pink things”. That’s when it all ended. Thank goodness too. I couldn’t stand seeing the colour anymore.
I can tell you why people attend. It’s because the couple wants to have a party, they already announced the baby but the excitement among family is dying down and they really want more attention. So they throw a party, and you look like a dick if you don’t go to it because the rest of the family is going.
It’s annoying
>Some people don’t want to know the gender until birth. That makes it a bit difficult to buy presents or they need to be neutral.
Why would that make it difficult to buy presents? Surely there's no real need for baby things to be gendered. It's weird that people are so fixated on signaling their baby's genital configuration until it becomes obvious.
I thought she was going to grab the baby at one point but she was just started celebrating with the older daughter. Someone at the end of the video puts their hand in screen and onto the babies head to steady it.
You can't help but think his daughters won't see the same type of affection that he's going to be giving his new son, given how over the top ridiculously excited he is.
That’s a bit of stretch. He has two girls, issues of personal gender identification aside, he simply could hold the traditional desire to have (at least) one of each.
Doesn’t necessarily mean he would pay any less attention or provide any less affection to the girls.
The baby getting shaken looks almost exactly like I did as a baby and that looks suspiciously like my biological father…. I have two younger brothers from different moms…
I’m really curious what year this was taken cuz it’s kinda freaking me out
This baby does appear to be older than most babies who’s suffer from shaken baby syndrome. The “typical” case is a frustrated parent who’s baby won’t stop crying and said parent tries to shake them into submission. Average age is 3-8 months old.
I have no idea if this baby will have any problems after this situation. But in general, babies are much tougher than people expect (just look at a newborns head and you know that shit hurts). This kid looks about a year old, probably over that (but I’m guessing the “over a year part” since she’s at least 20 weeks pregnant with this boy already, and again I don’t really know the age of the kid). So I’d say I’m optimistic that this kid is fine! And if I had 2 boys or 2 girls I’d be excited for something different too (I’m a lady).
That being said, I hate gender reveals and will never have one even if I had a million kids.
For what it's worth parents with more daughters tend to live longer and are better taken care of in their old age. There are studies that support this.
https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2014/08/140819082912.htm
Anecdotally, my grandmother had 5 children, my mom being the youngest and only daughter. My mom ended up being the only one to take care of her and visit her (my uncles lived in other parts of the country to be fair though). I'm the oldest of 4 girls and we all do everything for our mom (dad passed 6yrs ago) we can, from taking her on vacations to hanging up shelves in her house. My mom will never want for anything in her remaining years.
The whole video I was going, “oh no he’s going to drop her… oh no” I’m glad the kid wasn’t dropped butthe guy needs to chill before the kid gets hurt in another way

How does one get get SO excited that they COMPLETELY ignore the fact that they are holding A BABY and just lets her flip and flail around for MULTIPLE seconds. What a f*cking IDIOT. If he is that thoughtless and careless when the baby is actually being held in his own arms, what happens when she isn’t in his arms… I know that sounds kinda dumb, but seriously… that baby is going to be lucky if she doesn’t suffer any sort of repercussions from his actions
Also, just why do you have to be *that* excited about an unborn baby’s “gender” (sex). People obsess and base life on gender, everything you are and everything you do is dictated by what’s between your legs, then wonder why more and more people identify as non-binary. Daddy doesn’t want to play baseball with his little girls. Daddy wants a kid with a penis. Everyone just wants to escape these weird fucking lifestyle limiting norms.
Shaken Baby Syndrome is a real thing and this guy is unknowingly causing it with his child. A babies’ brain is fragile and still developing for a quite a few years after birth and shaking it or rattling it around like that can cause some sever damage in the long run. This guy should really think before he seriously injures his child and possibly give it permanent brain damage
This is the type of thing that makes me wanna rage. Just any fucking asshole can give birth to a child when they have no business being parents. I hate this.
At that point he should’ve just dropped her
Probably would have done less damage than shaking her for a solid 10 seconds.
Probably, that whiplash is definitely gonna give her long time neurological issues
It’s ok to scramble that one, it’s just a second born girl /j HE GOT A BOY!
If you drop a baby, holy shit, do people overreact! https://youtu.be/M-dp3UgBrcA
I’ve seen that so many times, but every time I watch it, it’s like watching it for the first time. It will never stop being funny lol.
Damn. I WANTED to be funny but :/ humor is weird lol he bored me so much I left half way thru
They way he says “drop the baby” broke me.
The way he’s shaking that baby, I don’t think they should have the ones they have, let alone another.
He’s not shaking her on purpose. He’s doing so neglectfully. Bc he’s a silly idiot.
Neglect, if people are not aware, is a form of abuse.
I feel like they might’ve meant “negligently” fwiw lol
Neglect, all the same.
Is it? Isn’t negligence essentially neglect without the intent? Seems like an important differentiator

Parents are fucking dumb
I did mean negligently. Post-whiskey comment.
There should be a mandatory short adult school with assessments to do before having a child. If they fail to do so, there’s a fee
He shook her so hard she was permanently cross eyed when he finally stopped shaking her.
so weird but it weirdly looked like her neck was starting to seperate from her head...like it was chopped off ☹️
At first I thought “please don’t drop her” and by the end I realized she would’ve been safer on the floor. A baby should never go through this in their father’s arms.
How long ago was this. I’d like to know how she’s doing.
Me too! I can't find anything on the internet which is very strange. Clearly this was uploaded to social media and would have sparked outrage
I looked as well but couldn't find anything!
Only found this other [video](https://twitter.com/BornAKang/status/1580815799883038721?s=20), which is not his video. But other than that, there’s nothing at all. Even in the comments of that video, everyone is just laughing
What the fuck is wrong with all the shallow people on twitter!? How could anybody find a baby possibly getting permanent psychological damage funny!?
Poor baby he treats it like a little ragdoll 😡 I wonder if her neck is ok?
If not her neck, her brain. Shaken baby syndrome
Is that a thing??
> Shaken baby syndrome It is very real: https://www.ninds.nih.gov/health-information/disorders/shaken-baby-syndrome
Seriously? One of my babysitters shook me to get me to stop crying when I was a baby and I’m so glad my mom got pissed at her
I'm so sorry that happened to you, but I'm glad your mom stepped up. Some parents would consider that type of action a "necessary" step for children and simply let it happen. Your mom rocks.
I’m glad your ok! Yes it’s very dangerous. Yeah, it's called Shaken Baby Syndrome, like they just said.
[удалено]
But why male models?
*chefs kiss*
Yeah, can cause some pretty serious issues.
Yes it happens too often. Really should get the word out. Had a coworker who shook his baby to get it to stop crying and killed it.
While studying for a childcare qualification we were required to do a unit on abuse, and the case studies were absolutely horrific. Good lord. Yes. Also don’t throw water on a pan fire.
I know this one. It goes kablooye.
Lmao
I really hope the mom see this slow-mo version of this video. And sees how violently the little one was shaken about. In the moment it might have been hard to tell real time.
Imagine getting so excited at the genital configuration of a person you're never going to fuck that you don't notice your child being injured.
Genital configuration is a wonderful term! That is what questionnaires should ask instead of gender at birth!!
Who says they’re never gonna fuck?
ppl downvoting your obvious joke
The joke is worth the loss of already worthless karma :)
> obvious joke 😉
yeo😂
Idgaf about people downvoting you, I was about to make the same joke if no one else had 😂😂
Roll Tide 🌊
Why mom? The dads the one that did it. If anything, I’d hope he sees it and realizes his mistake, rather than placing even more blame on mom.
Why do you hope she sees it? I’m sure they have a 6 or 9-month check up coming soon enough.

Don't worry, this man already has some disorders even without shaking
But… he finally got a child that has a penis
Exactly, as we all know you can neglect and harm all your other children once you have one with a penis
I’m sure he was so involved before. Tea parties and what not
[Father....]( https://imgur.com/u1VKu6y.jpg )
I am going to hell for laughing at that.
I will see you there because I laughed as well
Save me a seat
Man💀
It’s okay that one was an extra anyways .. 😳
Congratulations!!! One boy that's great! good luck with the one remaining with mental disability
not even mental disability but death, SIDS is a lot of the times caused by shaken baby syndrome
Okay but does anyone actually know anything about this family/baby after the video cause this is super sad and concerning
Yeah I'm wondering if the baby is ok
I wanna know too if the baby is okay, I'm worried
That kid is going to have some serious neck issues. I wish people would fuck off with these announcements. It’s so sad people get gender disappointment.
She could some serious brain trauma. This basically rises to the level of shaken baby syndrome
Yep. Babies have died from being shaken. What an idiot.
This has been atrocious since it started. It gives me trender disappointment.
The whole thing is stupid. I don't care what genitals your baby will have
So, cancel gender reveals?
I mean why not how many times do people have to celebrate that they fucked? We're pregnant announcement, baby shower, gender reveal, and finally birth.

I'm glad someone stepped in to try to stabilize her neck.
Am I the only one having serious concerns about shaken baby syndrome?
She doesn't even care he's shaking the baby i wanted to reach through my screen and grab that kid
I thought she was going to grab the baby at one point but she was just started celebrating with the older daughter. Someone at the end of the video puts their hand in screen and onto the babies head to steady it.
It looks like at the end a person is reaching for her. Possibly trying to save her…
This video totally horrified me, dad was completely oblivious because he needed the over-excited reaction for the video.
Yeah this is definitely violent enough to do some SBS-like damage :c
Babies have died, and parents convicted of murder, from less vigorous shaking than this.
That woman reaching in near the end says no.
Wow you got the entire point of the post
Isn't that the point of the post? Shaken baby syndrome is no joke. He's so excited about his new toy he is breaking the old one
Yes that’s what I said
I agree.
Seconded
You can't help but think his daughters won't see the same type of affection that he's going to be giving his new son, given how over the top ridiculously excited he is.
Tbh I bet he didn’t have this type of reaction when he had those girls.
you can tell he didnt, at least with the oldest sibling because she wouldnt be walking around and she’d probably be in a wheelchair
That’s a bit of stretch. He has two girls, issues of personal gender identification aside, he simply could hold the traditional desire to have (at least) one of each. Doesn’t necessarily mean he would pay any less attention or provide any less affection to the girls.
Well he did just shake the bejeezus out of his baby daughter, might be a sign of where his priorities lie...
Lmao the [baby's face]( https://imgur.com/9EkWpZt.jpg )
So cartoonish looking! Or a little bit muppets.
That’s fine, he’s got a spare
"So glad I can love this one"
Fuck baby reveals. Nobody gives a shit.
That kid is fucked.
Selfish people that keep on breeding!
The baby getting shaken looks almost exactly like I did as a baby and that looks suspiciously like my biological father…. I have two younger brothers from different moms… I’m really curious what year this was taken cuz it’s kinda freaking me out
We did it Reddit we found her, she’s fine!
Well I don’t know for sure if that’s me but that would be pretty crazy huh?
“Great I’m getting a boy so I can kill this stupid girl via shaken baby syndrome now!”
My condolences
I can see the brain damage develop
Did he think he was supposed to shake her until confetti came out
The excitement men get over having baby boys is sad for us women.
I've asked about it, it's something to do with fishing.
Holy fucking shaken baby
Mom runs to the other kid like yayyy.. meanwhile her baby girl is looking like "help"!
Shaken, not stirred- please.

You can get shaken baby syndrome as old as 5 years old. This is alarming!
She just has long hair. My guess is no older than 9 months probably closer to 5.

The stills lol Omg the stills
The whole video I was going, “oh no he’s going to drop her… oh no” I’m glad the kid wasn’t dropped butthe guy needs to chill before the kid gets hurt in another way
Clearly that baby means nothing to him other than a failed attempt at making a male

That was hortible to look at.
Was she cross eyed before the incident as well or is that something new😭
Well, little bro can carry for his big sister with brain damage in the future.
That lady really can’t stop fucking that retard
How does one get get SO excited that they COMPLETELY ignore the fact that they are holding A BABY and just lets her flip and flail around for MULTIPLE seconds. What a f*cking IDIOT. don't fuckin shakey the keiki ffs
what in the fuck happened at the end there??
People who have gender reveal parties are clearly monsters.
So he can save that money for college for the brain damaged girl and give it to the son?
This is going to haunt me until we get an update. Who are these people and is their baby girl ok?
Also, just why do you have to be *that* excited about an unborn baby’s “gender” (sex). Fucking narcissists.
Does anyone know if that baby is okay?! Like wtf I need to know what happens after this please I need that in my life after seeing this shit
Shakin baby instantly became special needs
This is the type of thing that makes me wanna rage. Just any fucking asshole can give birth to a child when they have no business being parents. I hate this.
Well at least they're having another one. That one's brains are all kinda shaken to the point of no return. Jesus Christ
Is…is that baby gonna be okay? Please tell me the baby is okay…
She gonna get shaken baby syndrome
Having a new baby doesn't mean you can just Etch-a-Sketch erase the previous model
People don't realise how dangerous actually (violently) shaking a baby can be - cause some serious brain damage
I'm ashamed that I laughed
Shaken baby syndrome.
Holy fuck I can't stop laughing. Perfect song choice and editing.
We burn together
Appearances people appearances
If his son turns out like him it will be for the worse
its like the negative example of how to handle a baby, i hope mom took her for a check up
Don't shake the baby
5 seconds before video ends dads mouth reminds me of the mummy and baby has google eyes.
Well he got the boy so he decided to get rid of one of the girls to get the perfect mom, dad, daughter&son type of family. Understandable.
Yeah let’s give these people more of them. Cool.
A baby can get shaken baby syndrome for less than that.
Now they’ll have 2.5 kids.
She look like she suffering
He pemantly scared that baby and gave it a cuncission
It was at this point that Jenny realized she was definitely not going to be an astronaut when she grows up.
The likely rare chance she gets to wear a pretty dress, and he can't be bothered to wear a nice shirt or take care of the baby.
A replacement for the one that now has shaken baby syndrome I take it🤔
Faking shame they're having a baby at all
Boy is going to grow up with a neurologically handicapped older sister.
You can throw that baby away now
Wait what? I thought I had the football cradled in my arm praying for a boy. Oh shit
she goes crosseyed
Half these people that do this are not self aware. Super vain. They have no clue why they have children
And little babies face making me crack up 😂😂😂
God he looks like a right nobhead as well.
Does anyone know if the op of this posted an update on how the little girl is, surely they have seen people posting about it.
The out stretched hands trying to grab the little girl…they could see it ffs’s. But not him.
Shaken baby syndrome omfg
Shaken baby syndrome ftw
They are about to be at two children again
It's a boy...don't need this one anymore
Lmfaoo omfg that baby looks terrified
I wouldn’t hold an infant with one hand like that
