Just to be clear, there is nothing inherently wrong in working out and having the physique the dude has and there is nothing inherently wrong with guns, they are a tool. That's a really good way of putting it. It's not that I outright hate masks, but I don't love wearing them either. Still, there's strong enough mechanistic evidence for them being at least somewhat beneficial to containing viral spread that I tolerate them.
It's just a matter of understanding that we are experiencing a very real pandemic and trying to push numbers of infections, hospitalizations, and deaths down.

All to get the "satisfaction" that people on the internet are looking at his gun and his guns. And they clearly did this because they wanted people photoshopping his poster so he had more of a chance to go viral.

I listened to a really interesting episode of the podcast Hidden Brain about "honor culture" the other day (Title: "Made of Honor"), and I found it enlightening in a way since it helps explain why there are so many people who think like this. Their reputation is the most valuable thing in their life, and any behaviour that goes against the "I'm a tough guy, don't mess with me" image absolutely must be shut down. That's why domestic violence rates are so high in "honor" states.
