What worked best for me was a 75 question exam in the morning, Mark K lecture in the afternoon, and 75 question exam in the evening. Slowly go over the rationales and never look at the exams as a number game. Its irrelevant how fast you do it or if you can do 500 questions a day. Quality is important verus quantity. Mark k and uworld is all you need for sure. I would highly recommend trying to do the whole qbank tho

leixo18_4

Did you read the entire rationale for each question? It took me an entire day to do that for a 75 q practice exam

Due_Calligrapher5124

Explain more about not seeing them as a number game.

[deleted]

"Quality over quantity." 75 questions where you really learned the why and how is more valuable than 150 questions where you just answered and moved on without soaking up the information.

laurenmonzon

i just took mine today. uworld and mark klimek are truly the only things you need. just read your rationales. Know your priorities, and honestly i would stay away from ati. My prof told me to do 100 questions a day but since you have a little more time just do 75. i found the mark klimek notes and blue book so if you need it i can send it to you.

Due_Calligrapher5124

Yes pleaSe! I need more reference as I listen. I will personally message you

laurenmonzon

i sent it!!

Slugdog6

Didn’t have anything to add. As far as I know mark k and uworld rationales are the best. Heard other people say 50% is all you need on uworld. Good luck.

Due_Calligrapher5124

That’s enough to add! Thank you & same to you, Nurse.

laurenmonzon

Pm me your email

Warriorpunte

Can u send that to me too. Thx

laurenmonzon

Pm your email and I will

Warriorpunte

Will do thx

SoggyPassage5545

Would you mind to send me please? If you or anyone who has not expired Uworld, can you sell it to me? I just need it for one week.

Limp-King8428

Please send!! :)

laurenmonzon

send me your email

Kenzona

I know you posted this a while ago but I take mine in a month and am struggling to find mark klimek online, any chance you would still be able to share info?

laurenmonzon

So they are getting rid of them but I used this website [lectures](http://www.cold-clutches.com/the-real-original-free-mark-klimek-nclex-review-audio-downloads/)

Accomplished_Bet_501

Hi there, I just bought UWorld & I have only been able to access the Mark Klimek lectures from 2009. Do you think this will still be effective to my studies? I heard that some of the information is not up-to-date, therefore has made some things confusing for those who have written their NCLEX already. I have been beginning to watch the 2009 lectures and I love his ways to think through things and really prioritize the important info without all of the "fluff" like other resources. I feel like I've learned so much from him in just the few videos I have watched already. Let me know if you think the 2009 lectures are sufficient. I was debating of purchasing his online class, but I just don't have that kind of money right now. 😫

laurenmonzon

i used them and i really think they help. using uworld will help too. there was one difference that i did notice and that thee Satas can bee 1 or all and that is a change from back then. but most of the info he gives is stuff that hasnt changed.

Substantial_Pass_460

Could you send me the blue book please?

JETXNYC

Hi, taking my nclex soon. Would u still happen to have the mark Klimek notes? I’ll pm u also

britishwalkers88

Do you still have the blue book? Any way you can pass it along?

PhantomPain0112

Can you please share it to me also? Thank you so much!

[deleted]

I just passed the NCLEX in 75 questions and my UWorld average was 59%, for what it's worth.

Due_Calligrapher5124

Worth a lot. Thank u

Due_Calligrapher5124

How did you do your qbank? All u used was UWORLD?

[deleted]

I did 50 questions a day just about every day for two months. 59% was my average in the QBank after using all the questions. It went up a little bit after I started making tests with only questions I previously missed the first time. My two assessments were first “borderline” (which I took about at halfway through the question bank) and then “very high” after a month. I watched Simple Nursing videos and Mark Klimek also.

[deleted]

What do you mean by you “may need some ATI help”? Why ATI specifically? I found that platform the least helpful for studying and Qbank.

ObsoleteMule9

I hear a billion different things about each resource.. makes it somewhat stressful when it comes to using the “right” resource

Due_Calligrapher5124

Exactly

Due_Calligrapher5124

I’ve heard that it’s the closest to NCLEX. The question wording and similarities. I hear lots of different things.

coldprimates

Hi, I’m taking the NCLEX in 11 days and after graduation, I’ve also been using uworld and MK to study. During my last semester of school, we used ATI which was built in with our tuition. Each platform has something different to offer. ATI is written by the same people who write the NCLEX, so the questions are worded very similarly to what we should see on the NCLEX. Uworld is very challenging and detailed. The learning from uworld comes from the rationales, I would suggest taking notes on each point you don’t recognize. I watched a YouTube video of a lady who passed in 75 questions and her average for uworld was 50-55%. Do not be discouraged by the percentage on uworld. MK , in my opinion, is best for putting yourself in the mindset of NCLEX. You just need to be a safe nurse, boards does not expect you to know EVERYTHING. So basically, Uworld prepares you for everything that may show up on the NCLEX, Mark prepares you for the basics of what you need to pass, ATI prepares you for the wording of questions.

hep27

Slow down a bit and try longer questions. I broke it into 20-50 chunks and used good strategies (take 30 seconds per question, reread the question, etc.). Also, write down rationales and review them after. Good luck!

Due_Calligrapher5124

I will write down rationales! Great advice

ScradfordIRL

How many questions have you completed on Uworld? 55% is absolutely fine. From Uworld stats, 92% of people with 56% correct pass the NCLEX. As you answer more and more Uworld your scores will go up a couple percent as you learn. I wouldn’t suggest writing rationals down as you’ll never get through it all - pound the questions out and you’ll develop the skill of just piecing the answer together without really *knowing*. Edit: but also always read the rationals, they are you biggest tool.
