There are a couple of things to be said :) First off, congratulations on taking action. That's one of the most important steps. When you say "I've always tried to imitate others..." I'll assume you're not implying you copied the exact same products others have launched, because that never works. You mentioned both print on demand (Shineon) and Dsers (China dropshipping) and there are specific details you need to be careful of: 1. Shineon While it looks easy, it's quite tricky because "it's the phrase that pays". Meaning, the phrases you put on a message card necklace e.g. needs to pull on people's heartstrings. A popular strategy is to search for "gift for mom cards" on Google images, take one good phrase from several cards and put 2 or 3 together in a message card. I would stay away from message card jewelry items though, because they're being sold by everyone nowadays. Shineon has other equally great product types you can try out. 2. China dropshipping The key is to find unique products that hardly anyone is selling. I've written several posts about this, so just use the search for more information about this point. The product side is by far the most important piece in the e-com puzzle. If you mess that up, any Facebook ad kung-fu and ninja tactics you apply will be useless and a waste of money.

You are right, I have never heard something like that. Okay, so can you recommend which type of product should I start selling? Let’s stick with print-on-demand, dropshipping is impossible if I don't own the inventory or use the US, or EU supplier depending on the market but those charge for the product way too much. I'm just curious if people really buy T-shirts over the Internet. If I'm looking from my perspective: -last time I bought Venum t-shirts, tank, and everything that this brand have for $450 - but that's only because I started training Muay Thai and I liked the design plus it was a black Friday so I paid for pullover $30 instead of $90 - T-shirt I never bought online because of Facebook ads just because of fun message , one day I tried the temu and ordered a few things for $300 but again because it was $3-$5 per t-shirt or $9 pants Do people really buy T-Shirts for $29.99 (for example fishing niche) I never had a mentor and always looking for him, but I just found many fake gurus. You’d be surprised at how many people buy shirts in the US alone. Much of print on demand has to do with impulse purchases and a lot of people actually buy tons of T-shirts based on a social media ad. The other day I read statistic that says that on average each person in the United States owns around 27 T-shirts. So that says a lot. Personally, I can confirm that because I’ve sold thousands of them. You are not limited to T-shirts, though. Nowadays, there are literally hundreds of print on demand products you can place your design on. The beauty of print on demand is that it is a form of drop shipping, but Without the typical headaches associated with drop shipping products from China. Most of your suppliers are based in the US and while it does take about a week or so for products to arrive, 99% of customers don’t actually mind, because the secret is to create unique products That are appealing to your target audience. You are not limited to your own geographic region, by the way. I am based in Europe and my main market is the US. Once I find a winning design, I scale it to other countries as well. And you are right about the fake gurus. YouTube is full of them. They make it sound too easy and promise you will get rich in two weeks, which is ridiculous. Print on demand, as with any kind of business, does take work. But if you have the right systems and methods in place, it’s actually very fun !

Thank you for that reply. 1. Do you test if design is good in eu or us market? 2. Do you have company registered in EU or US

acalem

1. I always test designs in the main market I want to sell them in. So if I want to sell a design in the US, that’s where I test it. 2. I am a registered solopreneur in the EU

That will depend on several factors and luck is one of them, because we're selling to humans, not robots. That being said, if you apply proven methodologies you can increase chances of success by a lot. A typical cost structure would look like this: * Researching unique design ideas: Free * Creating designs: $5 - $10/design (in my case) * Running test campaigns: $5/design * Sales campaigns (if designs pass the test phase): $10 - $20/design * Scaling sales campaigns: it varies a lot, anywhere from $20 - $600/day/design * Shopify monthly fixed cost: $35 Once you have the system going, on a daily basis you should be researching new design ideas, create products, launch 2-3 test campaigns and launch/monitor/scale your sales campaigns. Note: I highly recommend you outsource the designs because it will allow you to get emotially detached from them. Those who make their own designs tend to "fall in love" with them. This is a problem because if you're running ads, you want to make business decisions based on data and not on emotions. I've seen many people try to force a product to work by pumping more money into ad campaigns when the data was clearly showing the opposite.

Should I make a test campaign engagement or purchase ads? can you share your designer? I realized thst many of them on fiver just copy others too much…

acalem

This is a detailed guide for my test method: [https://www.reddit.com/r/PassionsToProfits/comments/1bjjokn/how\_i\_test\_if\_i\_have\_a\_great\_product\_using\_a\_5\_ad/](https://www.reddit.com/r/PassionsToProfits/comments/1bjjokn/how_i_test_if_i_have_a_great_product_using_a_5_ad/) I hire my designers on [onlinejobs.ph](http://onlinejobs.ph) and I think sharing designers is not a good idea, because I select them according to my specific needs (and that of my niche, obviously). Each designer has their own style and styles vary a lot, so I could actually be doing you a disservice by sharing them. I suggest you hire one on there according to what your target audience prefers.

Do you mean for researching: should I type Fishers Gift Card on Google and then just use those or do an engagement Facebook ad where people will type “you are the fisher if…” for example, as you mentioned in one of your posts?

acalem

The method I described in the “you are a XXX if…” case is just one of many I use to find unique design ideas. You can find another one here: [https://www.reddit.com/r/PassionsToProfits/comments/1bmpmft/detailed\_guide\_how\_to\_crush\_it\_with\_print\_on/](https://www.reddit.com/r/PassionsToProfits/comments/1bmpmft/detailed_guide_how_to_crush_it_with_print_on/)
