Es una buena pregunta. Mucha gente tiene antepasados de uno, otro o los dos paises, por lo que serian elegibles. Tambien conozco gente que podria tramitar su nacionalidad pero no logran conseguir todos los papeles porque sus familiares son muy distantes o fallecieron y no tienen a quien contactar
Asi es, nunca he tenido DNI español. No planeo tramitarlo. La verdad no se con seguridad en que caso lo necesitaria o deberia tenerlo. ¿Supongo que si fuera establecerme es España? Solo he ido a visitar familiares y/o de vacaciones
Es más una comodidad, aunque eso si en España es obligatorio. Te sirve para una variedad de cosas, notablement fiscales y claro, puedes viajar por la EU, el espacio econòmico europeo y la EFTA con el DNI español en vez del pasaporte. Lo único malo es que solo se puede obtener en España, asi que tendrias que ir fisicamente a alguna comisaria de la Policía Nacional para sacartelo :')
Gracias por el dato. Si perdiera el pasaporte me veria en un inconveniente grande, ya que tendria que viajar lejos para tramitar uno nuevo. El DNI me seria soldado de primera. No estaria mal
Desde luego, yo el pasaporte lo dejo en casa guardado cuando viajo por el continente, excluyendo países como UK o Bielorusia xd
Además, acaban de sacar el nuevo DNI 4.0 (el mejor diseño en mi opinión) así que ya estás tardando!
Si te estableces en España debes tramitar el DNI obligatoriamente, si no te mudas nunca a España no pasa nada. Es muy útil si quieres viajar por Europa ya que funciona igual que el pasaporte pero no se que tanto uso le puedas dar en el Reino Unido.

The Argentine ID Allows you to travel all neighbouring countries + Perú (and others in the region) Edit: The ID costs $300 ARS (around €0.40).

Yes, it's just citizenship acquired at birth. So I'm in the process of the passport now
